  1. Dance of the Desert (Su)
  2. The monk attacks in a brilliant display of flame and deadly grace, her intricate and precise combat forms building momentum like a dancing flame growing into a roaring inferno.
  3.
  4. Initiate: The monk gains the Desert Wind Dodge feat [ToB p.29], even if she doesn't meet the prerequisites, and adds all monk weapons (including unarmed strikes) to the list of weapons to which she may add fire damage using that feat. Also, she gains a +5 bonus on Tumble checks as long as at least 1 ki remains in her ki pool.
  5.
  6. Disciple: The monk's bonus to Tumble checks improves to +10. Additionally, as long as at least 1 point remains in the monk's ki pool, she gains 1 point of Intensity whenever an enemy attack misses her, and an amount of Intensity at the end of her turn equal to 1/2 the total number of successful attacks she made with monk weapons during her turn (rounded down). The maximum amount of Intensity she may accumulate is equal to her monk level, and her Intensity pool empties if she goes 1 minute without gaining Intensity. When the monk spends a point of ki to add an enhancement bonus to her attacks, she may also spend any amount of Intensity to add fire damage to her attacks as well, dealing +1d6 fire damage per Intensity spent on the first successful attack with a monk weapon this round, and +1 fire damage per Intensity spent on each other attack with a monk weapon for 1 round. When she spends a point of ki to gain a dodge bonus to AC, she may also spend any amount of Intensity to wreath herself in flames for 1 round, dealing 1d6 fire damage per Intensity spent to any creature that attacks her with a natural weapon or non-reach manufactured melee weapon.
  7.
  8. Master: As an immediate action, the monk may spend 2 points of ki to replace her AC against a single attack with the result of a Tumble check. In addition, she may use the Tumble skill to avoid attacks of opportunity provoked by her movement during a run, charge, or bull rush, as well as to avoid attacks of opportunity provoked by attempting a bull rush, disarm, grapple, sunder, or trip. Finally, her bonus to Tumble checks improves to +15.
  9.
  10. Grandmaster: As long as at least 1 point remains in the monk's ki pool, she gains a dodge bonus to AC and an insight bonus to attack rolls with monk weapons equal to 1/2 her accumulated Intensity (rounded down). Whenever the monk spends Intensity to add fire damage to her attacks, she may spend 2 additional ki to burn away magic on the first creature she hits, adding the effects of a targeted Greater Dispel Magic (CL = her monk level + the amount of Intensity spent) to her first successful attack with a monk weapon and dealing additional fire damage with that attack equal to the total number of spell levels dispelled. Whenever she spends Intensity to deal fire damage to those who miss her with melee attacks, she may spend 1 additional ki to gain a 50% miss chance for 1 round as the roaring flames obscure her true position. Also, the monk's bonus to Tumble checks improves to +20.
  11.
  12. Perfected: The monk has perfected the Dance of the Desert forms, allowing her to move through enemies in a constant flurry of fire and poise appearing as though she is a sandstorm of embers to onlookers. She may spend 4 ki points in order to create 2 fiery images of herself within a range equal to her fast movement bonus as a swift action. These images may attack at the same time as the monk and provide flanking when applicable. Use the monk’s attack roll, AC, saves, movement speed, skills, and any abilities the monk has for the images, but reduce all damage done by the images by 50%. If an image takes damage, it instead dissipates, dealing 6d6 fire damage in a 5 foot radius. The images last for 1 round per monk level or until destroyed or dismissed by the monk (a swift action). The bonus to tumble checks increases to +25.
