The Grove King

Dixie has become contracted to The Grove King. Known to the natives as 'Father Tree', The Grove King is a tall sleek Fey that resembles an Eladrin in regal, flowing robes which brush gently against the forest floor. He dons gilded willow leaves in the shape of a crown; his waist bears a single-handed Flyssa; the blade widened toward the top. His eyes swim with the colors of the summer sunrise, evoking feelings of warmth, but also danger. He is ever vigilant to increase his standing in the Feywoods, and will use Dixie to further his strength and his following to become a power that the Seelie and Unseelie revere.
He waits for his contracted allies to bring about his necessary conditions to appear onto the material plane and raise vast forests to make homes for his kin.

QUESTS RELATING

	Adult Blue Dragon Rival keeps his Ceremonial Scythe hostage after The Grove King lost a battle with him in days of old. He will task Dixie with stealing it back for him. The Blue Dragon will also be assaulting wagon trains and will even go to Gallow's Gulch to threaten the town's folk.

	A servant of the Unseelie is cursing the Hochechka, The Grove King's oldest followers, and he will send Dixie to investigate. An Annis Hag named "Faneira" and her pet troll have taken residence in the woodland as part of her mistress' orders to sow terror and strife within The Grove King's following.

	Government Exploratory groups have also been sent into the woodland where the Hag lives, thinking that rare resources lie in it's depths. She has been feeding them to her pet troll once she takes their souls then takes whatever they bring with them (Gold, swords, amulets, rings) and storing them in her household foorlocker. She serves as head of the Wives of the Twilit Son, a coven of witches that worships the Prince of the Unseelie, Ollithair.
