Hello Leonardo,

My name is Federico Arata and I am the originator, together with Ted, of
this US trip for Salvini. As Ted can easily confirm, I operate as a spin
doctor for Lega, trying to help them upgrade socially and internationally.

Let me apologize on Salvini and Giorgetti behalf for the difficulties in
communication - I am also often frustrated, so I perfectly understand. The
party is not structured properly, Salvini has great skills but maybe he has
to improve under an organizational point of view, and Giorgetti has to take
care of - literally - everything. They are aware of that, and they are
sorry for it. But till the elections, it wonΓÇÖt change.

All this said, I can guarantee that there is no maliciousness from their
end. At all. They are just swamped. They appreciate Ted support, and they
see the US trip as fundamental.

I am closely monitoring the situation with Giancarlo and Armando (Siri,
SalviniΓÇÖs economic advisor, the promoter of the flat tax), and they are
both doing their part in getting the date of the 8th confirmed. Once this
is done, I will make personally sure the trip to be properly organized. The
weekend of the 8th itΓÇÖs a holiday in Italy and Salvini had planned to spend
it with his children (being divorced, he barely sees them). By Friday pm we
will know if the 8th will work or not.

I come from investment banking, so I have a different approach, and I am
the first one to get annoyed. But we have to accept them for what they are,
they are by far the only hope for Italy, and we need to support them till
we reach the goal, even if the modalities are not the best ones.
