  1. 16:30] Gajin says, "Let's skin some Osronans."
  2. [16:30] Haruki lux Taiyang says, ". . ."
  3. [16:30] Ceres says, "Agreed."
  4. [16:30] Haruki lux Taiyang asks, "D'noxa, may we discuss this in a moment?"
  5. [16:30] D'noxa Aba says, "I don't plan on talking long."
  6. [16:30] Haruki lux Taiyang asks, "Then may you stand to the side for the moment?"
  7. [16:31] D'noxa Aba says, "Not unless you go get that gormless cretin of a bitch-made coward and bring him out here, no."
  8. [16:32] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Sol, go inform Ares. I'd rather not a fourth enemy into this war. I shall handle the visitors."
  9. [16:33] Sol Albright says, "You can't take care of both of them alone, you know."
  10. [16:33] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "One at a time, perhaps I can."
  11. [16:33] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Go acquire Ares."
  12. [16:36] The Fireblooded hadn't expected to run into any Osronans once he'd set off with the star-mad Felinae. Yet, here he was within the same field he'd once taught a young swordsman how to utilize her blade here. Shame he never saw her again, most likely died to an Achyon soldier.
  13.
  14. He gave a chuckle as he heard the order given by Haruki. "So, Sol is a Knight. You spineless coward. You lied to me on the day of my Dragonlords death." Really? He'd done what he could to keep the innocents out of danger. The Drake's breathing slowed and as it did his exhalations heralded smoke and sparks.
  15.
  16. "I'm going to flay you living for deceiving me." The words left his lips and with them the Drakanite's hand reached up to grip the hilt of his sword. His eyes darted towards D'Noxa for a moment.
  17.
  18. "Are we of the same will in dealing with these Osronans?" He didn't want to fight a Moxtli in the efforts of getting at one of the Knights.
  19. (Gajin)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. [16:36] Reaching to his hip. Ceres places his mask on his face. Tightening it making sure it was firm on his face. His sienna hues now being the only feature visible from it.
  23.
  24. Was it wrong to just attack for no reason? Absolutely if you went by the moral standards of some cultures. But to Ceres, There was no morals. As a pirate might was right. Especially if his own rival was about to get his hands dirty.
  25.
  26. " Gajin. I have your back. As a pirate of The Deep Company I shall flay these two and make sure they meet The Deep One. "
  27.
  28. Walking to the side of Gajin. Golden energy begins to bubble around his figure. A celestial presences flowing out of his mana circuits. Until Phos and it's energies shrouded his entire figure.
  29.
  30. "Maertock will be happy if I manage to take one of you back. But honestly? I think I'll take one of you to my teacher Katja first. To show her my progress. Something like a trophy? I'm not so sure yet."
  31.
  32. Planting his feet in the ground. Ceres takes a wide stance. Ready to battle.
  33. (Ceres)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [16:39] A faint exhale left the lips of the calm Radiant as he looked to the strange and alien mana that appeared to roll of her form in violent waves, his arms going to gently cross over his chest.
  37.
  38. His eyes focused upon D'noxa in a harsher light as he spoke forth, trying to be as civil as he could in the moment. Though his comments towards Sol would be all he could speak on the situation as two visitors were presented.
  39.
  40. So his form soon erupted in an explosive inferno, his flames having taken on a more volatile nature due to the trying times that was falling down upon Osrona.
  41.
  42. "Sol is not a Knight, he was never a Knight. He has never been apart of the Order, though with the times he has decided to stand with the city.
  43.
  44. So there is no deceit. But, neither of you shall touch him.
  45.
  46. You'll have to go through me."
  47.
  48. Then the flames around him only burned brighter as his fists were engulfed in something akin to Primordial Sunflame.
  49.
  50. "Lets see how you fair with my improved flames, hm?"
  51. (Haruki lux Taiyang)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [16:40] "For the last time, I'm not a knight. I'm just a civilian trying to protect his home - that's all. Hard not to when the whole world is trying to wipe you, your friends and your people's families out like a smudge, you know?"
  55.
  56. Quips, sharp as ever.
  57.
  58. He draws his sword, and his energy flares. He looks over to Haruki with a sigh, shaking his head.
  59.
  60. "I'm telling you, man. It is not my day."
  61.
  62. His eyes set on to Gajin now.
  63.
  64. "So, we're doing this, then?"
  65. (Sol Albright)
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  67.
  68. [16:42] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Sol, please- go get Ares before D'noxa blows whatever the Moxtli call a fuse."
  69. [16:42] Sol Albright says, "Don't think I'm getting much of a say on where I'm going right now, Haruki."
  70. [16:42] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "I can change that.."
  71. [16:42] Gajin says, "He's not one of your dogs. Let the man fight."
  72. [16:42] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Well currently there is someone a bit more important than you here, Dranakite, I apologize."
  73. [16:43] Haruki sets something round and green into Sol's hand.
  74. (Haruki lux Taiyang)
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  76.
  77. [16:43] Sol Albright says, "..."
  78. [16:43] Ceres says, "I can't stand people like you. That's for sure."
  79. [16:43] Gajin says, "I'll knock your teeth in you pampered guarddog of murderers."
  80. [16:48] She would have offered a single chance for Sol to run off and get the man, but some part of her knew either he wouldn't come.. or the Osronans would pour out of the gate in a flood. All because they were likely afraid of what she would do, despite the fact she would honor a duel. Her gaze briefly addressing Sol. "We harm each other worse at times in the Tribes, learn to get stronger so you keep it from happening. A warrior doesn't complain, he acts. Take it as another lesson." A reference to an earlier time.
  81.
  82. "I'm not gonna stop any of them from stopping him, that's not my problem. Though if he doesn't make it through those gates, it'll be me and you Radiant." Gripping her weapon, she would watch.. would the Blue Lion escape to get Ares and likely backup?
  83.
  84. Or would he be stopped, and the Shaman take what she can get?
  85. (D'noxa Aba)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [16:50] Saw the actions of Haruki and then his gaze shifted back up to the Fox. Had he really tossed an escape bomb to his foe? These Osronans truly did lack honor. With that his hand tightened on his hilt and he pulled the mighty Volund from its sheath the light glinting off the enchanted mithril the blade shifting to point at Sol.
  89.
  90. "Go ahead and try to run. That way your kin can see the marks of my sword upon your back."
  91.
  92. As he said the words his wings flashed out behind him and he tilted forwards. Bone's began to rip across the Drakanite's scales as he tilted his frame forwards. Then with a roar he shot forwards across the earth, his wings flashing out to allow him to glide the distance.
  93.
  94. Sol might be able to run but Gajin wouldn't make it easy for him. No he'd do all he could to catch the Adventurer.
  95. (Gajin)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [16:53] Ceres snickers. His laugh echoing from his mask. Holding his blade forward. He keeps it pointed at Haruki. The celestial energy begins to morph about him in a more violent manner, As winds follow behind.
  99.
  100. "If your friend get's away or not. You will be learning something today. Telling a man worth anything to run away is insulting. Especially your own comrades. It's pitiful to watch "
  101.
  102. The power stance Ceres holds does not change. In fact it becomes more firm. Awaiting for the first blow to be thrown. Awaiting for the final blow to be landed.
  103. (Ceres)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [17:00] Sol has time to weigh his options, and as he stares down at the green canister, he frowns. His eyes turn to D'noxa once again.
  107.
  108. "You're not making much sense. If that's the case, then what's the problem with Ares defeating Luna? He was just defending himself. You're basically telling me you'd do the same thing to me if I was in his shoes, having to fight for my life against her."
  109.
  110. He understands all of the enemies now, and it makes him bitter that they were like this.
  111.
  112. "Everyone's unreasonable these days."
  113.
  114. A sigh follows, and he looks back to Haruki for a moment.
  115.
  116. "Sorry, Haruki - it just isn't in me to run; not under these circumstances at least. The only thing that'll happen is Ares gets brought here to be mauled by D'noxa, and if I bring the others, it won't change anything."
  117.
  118. It's no like they'd be worthybackup either - not when by the time he returned the fight would already be over. They're purposely trying to be unreasonable to make them feel pressured, and he wouldn't give in to it.
  119. It's why when he draws his blade, his energy spikes up to new heights; a shimmering mass of blue ozone taking his form. His sword clashes against Gajin's, and he looks him in the eyes now.
  120.
  121. "Like I said, I'm a man of my word. You have a new reason to want to fight me now though. You want to lay waste to my home? I'm going to protect it."
  122.
  123. The bomb was stepped on and crushed.
  124. (Sol Albright)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [17:02] Ceres waste no time. He lunges at Haruki.
  128. (Ceres)
  129. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  130.
  131. [17:09] The locking of blades was a show of force. He could feel the Blue Lion's strength pushing back yet it was the words that caught his attention. With a flap of great wings he pushed himself back away from the Osronan. Giving him time to finish, to crush the bomb.
  132.
  133. "More the people within your home but we're on the same page now!" As he spoke he'd relevel his blade towards Sol. Taking a stance that was undeniably one of the Garuda style. In sharp contrast to the sizable drakanite and his thickened scales.
  134.
  135. Though, what sort of Dragon didn't soar?
  136.
  137. With a roar the Lorekeeper's body hardened with shards of bones throughout. Adding another layer of protective defense against the energy magi's attacks. Then he charged once more, eyes ablaze with rage!
  138. (Gajin)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [17:12] {Item} You drop Bluesteel Legs.
  142. [17:12] {Item} You picked up Bluesteel Legs. Dropped by Gajin..
  143. [17:14] Gajin was strong, but Sol wouldn't stop with his relentless strikes. Their blades clash in a flurry of sparks that ride through the air, and he breaks a sweat now.
  144.
  145. "I can't let you do that either."
  146.
  147. It's a firm strike that sends the Drakanite back, and he twirls the blade in his hand, readying for his approach again.
  148. (Sol Albright)
  149. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  150.
  151. [17:17] It was like fighting Tono all over again. Except this one had a bit more bite! Energy magi certainly wasn't something he could just ignore. Still as he looked across at Sol he'd flash a jagged grin.
  152.
  153. "You're not going to stop me!"
  154.
  155. In a swift motion he reached to his shoulder with his free arm, gripping a bone spoke that had erupted there. With a grunt he pulled it free and as it came loose it revealed itself to be a vicious appearing cudgel of bone. Then he'd come again, eager for the rush of battle.
  156. (Gajin)
  157. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  158.
  159. [17:17] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  160. [17:20] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Sol Albright}
  161. [17:25] The pulse of pain in his jaw was a mild annoyance, but something the Radiant could handle. At least it wasn't a crippling or annoying injury. With but a thought the Kitsune returned to levitating above the ground, trying to dust himself off and see if all of his limbs were working properly.
  162.
  163. After having his blood most likely clouted in multiple areas. For some strange reason he didn't fight as well as he could have. Maybe he was just fucking terrible an he should lose his job.
  164.
  165. Or maybe he was trying to still master his new techniques. Everything was equally likely.
  166.
  167. A diet of Ls for breakfast doesn't help much.
  168. (Haruki lux Taiyang)
  169. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  170.
  171. [17:27] Their battle is something swift and high-powered. An array of slashes that follow as he does battle with Gajin. Celestial magics enhancing blows, and as the going gets tough, he finds himself fighting harder - stronger. The bone-bending Drakanite's nigh impregnable defenses are hacked into, piece by piece, faster than he can regenerate.
  172.
  173. When he falls, he skids along the ground with a sweat and a pant.
  174.
  175. The blade points to Gajin as he stands on top of him.
  176.
  177. "I'm taking you in, and heading back home." He said, though his eyes slowly turn up.
  178.
  179. Ceres - he can tell he wanted a piece of him as well.
  180.
  181. "...
  182.
  183. Come on, then."
  184. (Sol Albright)
  185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  186.
  187. [17:30] Ceres rips off his mask. Rage covering his face which was hidden in a celestial shroud. He beat his friend. He beat his rival. He was going to take his family. Unsheathing his blade, Ceres moves it about until eventually pointing it at Sol in a dramatic manner.
  188.
  189. "You... You will kneel under Phos. You will kneel under this lions might! And then You will step away from my friend!"
  190.
  191. Leaping, Ceres sheathes his blade. Running on all four at Sol. This Felinae was not just angry. But horrified as what might happen to his friend under the hands of these cowards
  192. (Ceres)
  193. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  194.
  195. [17:30] Once more, there are an assortment of questionable people at their lawn finding any reason they can justify to be angry and get their daily dose of blood thirst in.
  196.
  197. Perhaps it's their inability to find anything interesting or productive to do other than wander the forests and look for people to murder, Alastair isn't entirely sure.
  198.
  199. Well, aside from the drakanite, who's now unfortunately eating dirt. What a shame.
  200.
  201. "Coyotes that speak of honor while they take any opportunity to gnaw at the heels of lions... how dreary." he commented from a distance, readying his sword now.
  202. (Alistair ven Pelleaux)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [17:31] He wasn't sure what hit him at the end but it sent him into the dirt. He felt his hardened scales skidding along the ground until he felt himself striking a hefty rock. Then he felt a foot against him and looked up towards a sword pointed into his face.
  206.
  207. His lips pulled back into a snarl as he looked up towards the Osronan. "Good luck dealing with the starmad." He already knew that the blood hungry Ceres would be on the move.
  208. (Gajin)
  209. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  210.
  211. [17:31] D'noxa Aba says, "We don't execute warriors behind bars out of fear."
  212. [17:32] Alistair ven Pelleaux says, "No, you stalk the forests and look for easy kills... what a joke. You're no shaman."
  213. [17:32] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Alistair."
  214. [17:32] Alistair ven Pelleaux says, "And please stop repeating that."
  215. [17:32] D'noxa Aba says, "I came asking for a fair duel."
  216. [17:32] Alistair ven Pelleaux says, "It's genuinely pathetic at this point. A man tried to kill someone, lost, and was killed."
  217. [17:32] D'noxa Aba says, "Not my fault my words weren't answered."
  218. [17:33] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "You've simply no self control, D'noxa."
  219. [17:33] D'noxa Aba says, "If I wanted your Radiant at my mercy, he would be right now."
  220. [17:33] Haruki lux Taiyang says, "Or rather, not enough."
  221. [17:40] "Play the victim now, but it's you who struck first. You who knocked on the lion's door and dared to harm his home."
  222.
  223. He's said it before, and he's said it again - he is no knight, but he is simply a vigilante for the people of Osrona; a man trying to defend his home. These people? They weren't saints - they weren't fighting this war for anything beyond their own personal bloodthirst, and so their words would do nothing to him.
  224.
  225. He swiftly and evasively dodges Ceres' flurry of attacks and responds to the Felinae with some of his own. They're backed with much more force and vigor - the power of the Blue Lion, quick on the move.
  226.
  227. The sword wallops into his side, and it sends him careening to the edge. He blazes through and sends Ceres tumbling to the side, sheathing his sword.
  228.
  229. Gajin is snatched up by his collar, and he looks around. Haruki had managed to escape the wrath of the head shaman, so he's certain he'd catch up, and he sees Alistair in the distance. Were any problems to follow, he's certain he could handle the rest.
  230.
  231. Either way, Sol is taking his leave now.
  232. (Sol Albright)
  233. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  234.
  235. [17:43] Caddock released a breath, fanning himself under the shade of a nearby tree. The area was rather close to the Reef - the distance betwixt naught but a hop and skip.
  236.
  237. "Maaaaan."
  238.
  239. A brow raises, a lone eye staring off across the gathering.
  240.
  241. "Ya'll're getting down, huh?"
  242. (Caddock Reave)
  243. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  244.
  245. [17:44] Defeat. Something Ceres hated with a passion. Not only that they were taking his friend. His comrade in arms. Somebody who was so different yet understood him so much.
  246.
  247. Getting up on his knee. Ceres takes off his mask. Looking at the leaving Sol. Clenching his fist. Raising it as he yells one final piece. Coughs of pain weaved into each word.
  248.
  249.
  250. "I will remain determined . I will take him back. It takes a loss to learn so one may achieve victory. So if you do anything to that Drakanite. You will all learn a lesson. "
  251.
  252. Breathing heavily, Ceres looks at D'noxa, Walking towards her.
  253.
  254. " I'm sorry you had to see that display Chieftain. "
  255.
  256. This was a horrible day.
  257. (Ceres)
  258. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  259.
  260. [17:46] Honestly? He'd half-seen the fight as he struggle to recover but he was impressed. Ceres gave him a great deal of trouble and Sol had handled him with a great degree of finesse.
  261.
  262. "Not enough determination..."
  263.
  264. It was sad that Gajin wasn't even hurt. Just mana drained and then he felt a hand upon his collar and pulled up by the Blue Lion. He did hear Ceres words but he they'd been moving to fast for anything like a real conversation. That would just be strange.
  265. (Gajin)
