What I've been doing since I left smogon

Hey there guys, I’ve never really talked about what I did after leaving smogon the first time so I guess I might as well use this pastebin to talk to everyone that doesn’t already know what I’ve been up to. Starting immediately after I made the quit thread, I made several alts and ended up getting banned from the website (this was the origin of the SD Buzzwole and “LL Alt #482” memes). This ban resulted in me taking a couple months off from the website, with me doing nothing irl except for attending school and playing basketball (I’m currently on an AAU team). After a couple months, one of my friends from smogon hit me up on skype and invited me to a discord groupchat called “Draco” with a few of my old smogon friends like noveliss and sedertz. I spent a bit of time chilling here until sed begged me to come back to mons (I got dm screenshots if u wanna deny this nigga) and I eventually caved and starting playing PS casually again. At this point, I befriended a few more people in draco, the two people that always come to my mind first being savy and soda. Near the end of my first stint in draco, I joined NJNP’s G.O.O.D Saturdays discord and talked there a lot more than before just because it seemed like a cool chill place to talk about mons (this was within 2-3 weeks of the server being made). I was pretty much always at the highest possible rank level here whenever NJNP made a new one solely due to how much I talked in the chat and ended up talking to NJNP a lot more until I realized he was actually a really cool guy that I’m glad to be friends with. Before I got banned from draco, I got invited to a place called “Den of Thieves” (most lit private discord atm imo) that was fairly dead at the time but still a pretty chill place regardless. I ended up getting kicked out of draco when I along with about 3-4 other people leaked blunder’s Gyarados set during a stour playoffs game in chat and the admin of the chat got mad at me for being a headass (sorry bro, that was a dick move and I still regret it to this day :x). After getting banned, I started to talk in Den of Thieves and NJNP’s discord a bit more until both of them got really active. I ended up befriending quite a few people in den, which is by far my favorite discord I’ve ever been in (sorry NJNP :x). There’s too many cool people in den to name here all at once, so I’ll just name a few and know that everyone else knows who they are. First up we got infamous smogon shittalker imsosorrylol, who did help me get a bit better at the game but mainly shittalked me every day of my fucking life and occasionally decided to share a cool Pokemon team with me or got fucked up enough to build a team around max spdef AV Hoopa-U with me. Next, we got a pretty stark contrast to sorry but still a fantastic friend nevertheless in DenisTheMenace. Denis is legitimately one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and a true friend that I know I can entrust anything important or get whatever help I need from and one of the most reliable people I’ve met. His maturity and wisdom is beyond his years and he honestly deserves more friends in this community and is someone that I’m always happy to see in chat. There’s a fuckton of people who deserve a mention just as much as these two, but I wanted to name these two specifically just to show how diversified and amazing the group of people in den is. I spent a lot of time on NJNP’s server and befriended many people there, until finally rising in rank to a moderator on the server, and I love all of you guys <3. After this point, I joined a couple smogon servers, the two most notable ones being the smogon tournaments and overused discords. I started talking to some people like Gary and Scarf Nihilego on these servers and realized that they were actually pretty cool people. Also shoutouts Eseque because he’s lowkey a child genius and has a super bright future. This is pretty much where I’m at right now with a lot of shit missing between but I hope it helped shed some light on what I’ve been doing in my absence from smogon. I hope the smogon mods can listen to my appeal next time it happens because I still miss the site :c
