It wasn't particularly arduous waiting, you're good at waiting and were passing the time with tinkering with Kawe, and playing with your GameGrub. But really, given how her being late for meals doesn't /really/ tend to be a thing, and it's now more time for breakfast than midnight meal-]

[21:25] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [Of course, you could just troll her and ask, but you have a feeling she'll be at her spire, and you may as well go right there, even if it takes a little longer to find out what's up. So you trudge on up your own spire to the gate, and make your way to the Land of Cloister and Cistern.]

You've gotten a lot better lately with not being so worried about them. They just seem to keep to their own business a lot. You think Afiqah might have given up for now on questioning them all about Ring Voyages. But you're not sure.]

Uncaptchaing your hijab and putting it on as you move towards the door. Still blinking tiredly. You check your hijab one last time before opening the door. A little confused at Kai being there in front of you. "Uhm, hello Kaieka."]

[21:39] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [It's just become a bit of a routine, really, having food with her every few nights or so. Sometimes some of the others in the session come along too, Nikhil most frequently. Makes for a good mini-session meeting, you suppose, as well as catching up on whatever is going on with her Green Star project.]

You look back at the computer. Its the only thing in the room beyond the desk its on and the heater. The room itself is brightly lit, warm, and dry. The desk currently has some empty glasses and a half-eaten plate of food that was your breakfast. "I hope you didn't wait for me." You say as you turn back to look at him.]
[21:47] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [Flap a large, webbed hand slowly. "It's cool. I mighta snacked a bit. And I finished Kawe's repairs." The new ones, after she got cracked in a brawl with a chimera. At least you didn't need peeling out of her after that happened. Peer into the room. "Still going over station data?"]
[21:52] <emeraldEclipse> 3[You wave him further into the room. "Well theres so much of it. Ross' stations are up and running and sending data here too." You captcha the half-eaten plate of food. "I don't get it though. The amount of false-positives I've gotten is through the roof." You minimize the window, the image of a green-eye of an Other disappearing. You click on a folder and bring up a graph. Pointing to the appropriate spots as you talk. "There was only maybe a dozen in the first day. But its been growing exponentially." Finger following the graph as it slopes upwards steeply.]
[21:56] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [You follow her in, and wince and avert your eyes as you glance at the screen just long enough to get a glimpse of the image before it vanishes. "And... you've been looking at all of them? All the false-positives?" You sound unsure.]
[21:57] <emeraldEclipse> 3["Well, yes. I have to. I've been sending the information on to the guy who made the program to refine it, but he can't do much to refine it until I get an image of the Star itself." Sounding a bit defensive.]
[21:59] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [You miss the defensive tone as you bend down to look at the graph, trying to make sense of it. It's not exactly the sort of thing you've ever really worked much with before. "There aren't any, like- other people sighting it, taking photos, that you could use instead? For refining?"]
[22:00] <emeraldEclipse> 3[You shake your head. "Nothing usable. Its all hear-say and stories. It's why I'm doing it, no one else has done this sort of thing before!" The idea of proving yourself to Ross by doing this is still prodding you at the back of your mind.]
[22:04] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> ["Yeah, I do remember you saying." Stop peering at the graph, and look around for a chair to sit on. "But at the same time- looking at that stuff, it's enough to turn stomachs, yeah? You've been careful to have, like, your void shakes and all, haven't you?" Glance at her as you sit down.]
[22:06] <emeraldEclipse> 3[You point to the empty glasses. "And I've kept this room bright, dry, and hot as it was suggested. I'll be fine." You're not going to mention that you hadn't had a shake since breakfast. Lunch wasn't the only thing you lost track of.]
[22:09] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> ["That's meant to be together with hugs. And breaks." You eye the glasses, looking for traces of the voidshakes. You don't like this. It's showing a bit, through your faint frown.]
[22:15] <emeraldEclipse> 3[Theres some of the shake left in the bottom of the glass of one of them. "I'll get hugs from Fray if I see her. And I still get out on my land. I just lost track of time today."]

"I think taking a break now would be a good idea. You gotta take things slow with this. If you rush it and someone gets hurt in the process, then that'll stand out more than the fact that no-one did it before."]
[22:28] <emeraldEclipse> 3[You take it, and slowly drink part of it. Glancing back at the screen, and sighing. "Alright. Its not like its going anywhere, right?" You really want to keep going, it could be the next one.]
[22:33] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> ["No, it's not," you say, matter of fact as you stand up. "Come on, we're gonna find some of the others and get some breakfast." And hopefully it can be spun out pretty much as long as possible. The Maid of Blood who came over on the ship is chatty, and usually willing to join for meals.]
[22:37] <emeraldEclipse> 3[You finish half the shake and stand up, still holding it. "Alright." Your stomach grumbles appreciatively. "I guess I am hungry." You tap some keys on the computer and put it to sleep. Giving a small smile to Kai. "Good?"]
[22:40] <@kaiekaJuuzuu> [Return the smile. "Better. C'mon, let's go." Turn to head towards the door, tail ever-dragging behind you. You're not wholly satisfied, but you'll leave trying to convince her to take a couple nights off from the project for after she's eaten and had her ear talked off by the Blood player.]
