  1. Writing Prompt: What kind of food would Rose like?
  2. Flowers, flowers, and more flowers.
  3. ========================
  4.
  5. >Visit Roseluck's place for lunch
  6. >Walk into kitchen where she took the bouquet
  7. "So Rose, you feeling like going out to-"
  8. >You stare, mouth open
  9. >Rose looks at you, the expensive bouquet you had gotten from Daisy earlier not to be found.
  10. >"Trust me, she'll love these!" the gardening pony had said.
  11. >Oh she loved them, alright, enough to make them disappear!
  12. >"Hm?"
  13. >The questioning noise from Rose broke you from your thoughts.
  14. >She swallows whatever was in her mouth as you glance around the room.
  15. "What happened to the flowers? Did you not like them?"
  16. >"Huh-oh, oh! I loved them!"
  17. "Then why'd you throw them away?"
  18. >"Oh, anon, I didn't; they were my favorite!"
  19. "Then what did you do with them, Rose?"
  20. >"Uh..."
  21. >She looks down and you follower her gaze to her stomach, which grumbles happily.
  22. >"I ate them."
  23. "Roseluck!"
  24. >You groan at her and she stomps a hoof down.
  25. >"What, they were delicious!"
  26. >"We're ponies, anon, it's what we do!"
  27. >And then it hit you.
  28. >A bouquet of expensive flowers was the equivalent of a gourmet box of chocolates in a land of talking equines.
  29. >"You humans and your rituals are weird, but..."
  30. "Yeah?"
  31. >She shuffles awkwardly.
  32. >"...if it's any consolation, I got an orchid flower stuck to the roof of my mouth."
  33. >"We could still put that in a vase, that'd make you happy, right?"
  34. >She stuck her tongue out, a delicate orchid petal on it.
  35. "Oh Rose, what am I gonna do with you?"
  36. >She flashed that relieved smile of someone who had just dodged getting in trouble.
  37. >"Well you could start with taking me out to lunch like we planned, I mean, the bouquet was fantastic, but it's not, you know, not filling."
