- Writing Prompt: What kind of food would Rose like?
- Flowers, flowers, and more flowers.
- ========================
- >Visit Roseluck's place for lunch
- >Walk into kitchen where she took the bouquet
- "So Rose, you feeling like going out to-"
- >You stare, mouth open
- >Rose looks at you, the expensive bouquet you had gotten from Daisy earlier not to be found.
- >"Trust me, she'll love these!" the gardening pony had said.
- >Oh she loved them, alright, enough to make them disappear!
- >"Hm?"
- >The questioning noise from Rose broke you from your thoughts.
- >She swallows whatever was in her mouth as you glance around the room.
- "What happened to the flowers? Did you not like them?"
- >"Huh-oh, oh! I loved them!"
- "Then why'd you throw them away?"
- >"Oh, anon, I didn't; they were my favorite!"
- "Then what did you do with them, Rose?"
- >"Uh..."
- >She looks down and you follower her gaze to her stomach, which grumbles happily.
- >"I ate them."
- "Roseluck!"
- >You groan at her and she stomps a hoof down.
- >"What, they were delicious!"
- >"We're ponies, anon, it's what we do!"
- >And then it hit you.
- >A bouquet of expensive flowers was the equivalent of a gourmet box of chocolates in a land of talking equines.
- >"You humans and your rituals are weird, but..."
- "Yeah?"
- >She shuffles awkwardly.
- >"...if it's any consolation, I got an orchid flower stuck to the roof of my mouth."
- >"We could still put that in a vase, that'd make you happy, right?"
- >She stuck her tongue out, a delicate orchid petal on it.
- "Oh Rose, what am I gonna do with you?"
- >She flashed that relieved smile of someone who had just dodged getting in trouble.
- >"Well you could start with taking me out to lunch like we planned, I mean, the bouquet was fantastic, but it's not, you know, not filling."
