Within this lens, they've actually done rather well for themselves even if their morals and lack of backbone ultimately would prevent them from taking power even if they had numbers imo.
Social conservatives (most racialists and white nationalists) sadly, despite agreement with their values, are comparatively dumb but worst of all easy to mock. But they have backbone and as such make a good backbone, and a good thing to be committed to something and unleashed upon its enemies.

Didn't control its language/label, let in broken people. Had leaders before they were ready, no solid pro-active platform beyond white consciousness raising which relies much on the left doing half the work

Should have been more exclusionary since the spergs do in fact alienate people. Particularly smart people, and always want to be the gatekeepers by complaining about wedge issues or figures they see as insufficiently pure nationalists (over a wedge issue oftentimes). This isnt to be confused with criticism, it is a power play to build themselves up via this form of signalling.
Smart people dont want to be around spergs, no matter how trad or pure they are.

And the socially conservative spergs I am thinking of are not very bright. Could not argue race realism, the JQ, or even basic anti-feminism to anyone on the fence convincingly. Granted, they don't have to but they have to accept we need people who can so the movement can't be only people like them.

Who am I thinking of? Well, I guess the more passionate and devoted readers of the dailystormer, not to insult the stormer.

The guys who really want to regulate behavior by removing people but never think of removing themselves, as they are often dumb.

The people who get really pissy at unorthodox social media postings, that they could ignore. The fact that they can't is already a problem by the way.

The guys who will pal around with anti-whites just to spite the altright.

Basically socially conservative people who are big on being outraged or spiting others, not so big on intellectualizing anything they believe or standing for it in some other way for the benefit others. They can't argue for what they believe so others can believe it too.

It's the dumb and uncooperative nature of it which is awful. Not having the views.
