Chapter 1: Seeing him again

HYUNGWON'S POV

"Oppa! Hurry up,jebal!" My sister shouted from downstairs.

"Yes,Im coming yumi" I replied and turned around my gaze back to the tall mirror right infront of me. I buttoned my uniform polo up andt hen sighed.

I took my glasses and wore it as I swallowed my lips as I examine my appearance.

I look ugly as always...

"First day of school again,don't worry...no one knows you anyway"

Except one person...

I told myself as I shrug my shoulders.

"Hyungwon oppa!!" Yumi screeched like a dying whale again. And I rolled my eyes then quickly went downstairs with my backpack.

I slung my backpack in my shoulder and saw yumi standing,tapping her feet in rythm but with a hint of annoyance. She crossed her arms as he gazes at me with her impatient brown eyes.

"Finally! We're gonna be late!"

She pursed her lips and went through the door. As for me,I follwed her from behind. Ignoring her dramatic morning routine in school days.

"Hey,oppa do you think I will have much more friends thos year again?" She smiled brightly as she asked and blocked my path,making her skirt bounce with the wind.

I swear,she can turn from a dramatic satan to a bubbly dog in a just mili second.

I half-smiled and tugged the strap of my backpack in my shoulder. "Yeah,sure" I simply answered.

She giggles like a school girl who just got a yes from a confession to her crush and then nodded. Unfortunately,she's not interest in boys,I caught her reading BL (boys love) novels in her room which I found it shocking,but she was really proud to say it to me and I don't care anyways as long as she's happy. Even though she's like this,I still look after her.

As you can see,my sister is im 3rd year highschool,while Im in my 2nd year college now. Our dad has passed away and our mom is on overseas to earn money, both of us are living together in an apartment.

I quiet don't like to go to school today,but I can't. Since me and yumi are scholars,I have to keep my grades on top.

Well,actually Im the non-excistence boy in the school,no student knows me,cares about nor likes me. If I ever bump into someone in school,they'll thought Im a
Transferee or a new kid. My sister, is one of the popular kids since she's always prom queen in each highschool year but never had a boyfriend.

I love my college life like that. No distractions,peaceful life,and will have a bright future. Im perfectly fine with it,honestly.

I also have a Reasin why I wanted to be in this school again...


I wanna see him again...


"Hey! Hyungwon oppa!"

I was starled by yumi's voice. She's waving her hands on my face. I shooked my head and gazed at her as I push my glasses up to my nose and gave her a questioning look.

She raised an eyebrow. "Are you thinking about this Minhyuk guy again?" She smirked.

I stopped on my tracks and glared at her. She grinned and clasped her hands as a success. This lunatic doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut,eh?

"Hehe! I knew it! Oh my,the feels~!" She squeaks and dramatically fans herself. There is something wrong with this girl,should've put her in a mental hospital in the first place.

I shook my head with a frown pasted on my face. I continued to walk on my way,trying to ignore her but can't.

"Its not what you think,yumi" I responded as I roll my eyes.

She pouted "oh c'mon! Last year you were stalking his facebook account,hmmm?" She smirked once again which caused me to furrow my eyebrows. How the heck--?

I groaned and rubbed my hair. "Sis,shut your mouth would you?" I said,obviously pissed then I only recieved a chuckle.

To be honest...what she said is True. I ( think ) have a crush on Lee Minhyuk,school's chairman's son. I know I can't think straight.

FLASHBACK

It happened in my first year college ( last year ). I was between the bookshelves,choosing a book that's for histort. We do have a pop quiz tomorrow.

While I was scanning,my eyes suddenly landed on minhyuk who's kneeling and peeking in the small spaces between the books on the shelves. Like he's hiding from someone.

Then I didn't realized my mouth opened "Minhyuk?"

He gazed his eyes on me and started to widen when he saw me. "Shh!" He hushed then suddenly pulled my arm.

I gasped as I tripped into his body. Then his legs trapped me in his. I blushed and felt nervous with the position we're in right now. I don't like skinships especially in this situation. I can feel his warm breath in my forehead when he pulled the nape of my neck,making my head bury in his shoulder. My heart started to beat fast and felt waves of anxiety.

I heard the door opened from the entrance in the library.

"Minhyuk! Where the fuck are you,li'l shit!"

It sounded like shownu's voice. It boomed around the room and the librarian scolded him. It made him much more pissed as he clicks his tongue and groaned. I can feel him scanning the place.

Minhyuk covered his mouth,holding his laughter inside. Could it be he did something annoying to shownu?

I was getting uncomfortable and can't take this position any longer. So I tried to whisper "c-can you--mmph!" He covered my mouth and I whinced then glared at him.

When shownu finally left the room,minhyuk sighed in relief. Still not letting go of his in my mouth. I wiggled in his arms,reminding him to let go of me.

"Oops! Sorry!" He let go of me and I quickly stood up and fixed my uniform. "Your really slim,are you eating well?" He suddenly asked. I looked away and ignored his question

"Thanks" I quietly said,he raised his eyebrows and started at me. I glanced at him and but my lip.

"W-what?"

"Are you a transferee? Its the first time I see you" he stated. I frowned and sighed. As always,Im used to it. Apparently I've been studying here since 3rd grade.

I hated him already,really.

When I sighed,he noticed to my actions then he chuckled. "Ah sorry! You're not much of a talker. Im minhyuk! Yours?" He introduced as he smiles brightly.

"I have to go,excuse me" I bowed politely and left him in the library,dumbfounded. I don't wanna talk to him,actually.



After that,I stopped by at convinience store to buy some ramen for yumi. Its her favorite food so why not. She can finish 4 bowls in 2 hours. She's lucky she's not getting fat,unlike me.

I was already in the counter,waiting for the cashier to scan the food I bought. While waiting,I checked my pocket to get my wallet.

I then,widened my eyes and realized my wallet is missing! Crap. I felt alot of anxiety now,I don't know what to do! Maybe I left it in the library earlier! Ugh,I wish I haven't found him!

"Its 5,000₩ sir" I slightly flinched when I heard the cashier's words. Shoot,Im dead. I gulped and felt sweats forming now.

"Umm...I--"

"Wait a sec! Add this soda please!" A familiar bright voice behind me spoke. I widened my eyes...

Don't tell me...

I grape soda was placed in the counter and the salesman scanned it up. I glanced at the person beside me and it was,of course Minhyuk.

Why is he here of all people?!

Then he paid for everything. Is he helping me? God,this is embarrassing!

When we got outside from the store,I started to say

"Y-you don't need to do that actually" I stuttered as we got outside at the store. I looked away,hiding my embarrassed face. I can feel him smirking which made me confused.

"Well,I saved you right? You forgot this too"

I glanced at the object he's holding in his hand as he rised it up. My wallet! My ID and money is all in there! Thank,god!

I widened and gasped. I quickly approached him to take my wallet but he streched his hand away,making it hard for me to get. This guy...

"H-hey! Give it back!" I whined.

"Haha,cute. Calm down hyungwon" he chuckled.

I stopped hopping to reach my wallet,and calculated on what he said. How did he know my name? And did he just call me cute?

"H-how did you--"

"ID" he teasingly smiles as he grins. I sighed in annoyance and impatience.

He finally gave my wallet and smiled. I bowed and thanked him.

"Thank you for saving me back there though" I said and he nodded in amusement.

"No problem" he winked and I blushed then looked away. Is he always like this?

I tilt my head down to hide my blushing red face. Here goes my heart again...

Then he suddenly spoke "Want me to take you home?" He gently smiles as he slid his hand inside his pockets. I glanced at him and shook my head as I lightly grinned.

"Ah,no its fine!"

"I insist" he scoffed and smirked. I pouted and then he suddenly placed his hand on top of my head. Feeling that warm feeling,I felt relaxed.

I bit my lower lip as I felt nervous while blushing. I looked up to look at him,he was smiling at me sweetly. Its like my world just turned into a slow-mo.

END OF FLASHBACK

After that,he was persistent on taking me home so I have no choice but to accept him. When we got there,yumi teased me that he was my boyfriend which is very embarrassing.

That's why,during in school,he's the only person who cares and protects me. That made me like him alot and I can't deny it. Im feeling the urge to confess but I feel nervous and scared,thinking that he's straight.

While my thoughts were in the flashback,I didn't realized we're already infront of the school gates. "See you oppa!" Yumi pecked my cheek as a good bye and waved then joined with her friends.

seeing her happy,I feel at ease. I sighed as I continued to walk in my way to the locker.

While I was getting my books for my next class in my locker. Somebody bumped to me and my books fell on the ground. I felt the person who bumped me,clicked his tongue. As much as I wanted to fight back,I can't. I don't want to attract stares in me.

"What a weakling" I heard his cold voice spoke as he rolls his eyes. As far as I know,its the school's so called "Fuckboy",Shin Hoseok but goes by the name Wonho.


I didn't respond at his comment,instead I just bit my lower lip and lowered my head. I can feel him staring at my back which made me feel uncomfortable. Then I heard his foot steps went forward with his friends,leaving me alone,helpless.

I sighed and continued to pick my books up. Im used to this anyway,it always happens...

I was about to grab the other books when someone's hand lend me a help on it. I tilt my head up to see who it is...

And I saw him once again.

"Here,sorry about wonho" he smiled gently like he's trying to tell me to not be affected in wonho's words. Minhyuk is really gentle and kind.

We both stood up and I bowed slowly as a thank you. It was awkward,silence was between us and I don't know what to reply something else. I heard him chuckled.

"Nice to see you again,hyungwon" he said before he joined with wonho and the others. He maybe one of the school's hearthrobs and popular boys. But he's different,he's sweet and gentle unlike the others who's boastful and a playboy.

But I still wonder....why is he still single?

Guys like him should have a girlfriend right now. Even thought it hurts but I still want someone that can take care and cherish him.

WONHO'S POV

"Get me a cheeseburger"

This young shit doesn't know how to shut his mouth wherever he goes does he?

I rolled my eyes. "Ask shownu" I glared at IM who is internally hungery but diesn't have enough money to buy a fucking cheese burger.

Shownu glared at me "Why the fu--"

"cheeeeseee burgerr! Give me one now!" IM whined and shownu furrowed his eyebrows,obviously irritated in him. I chuckled as IM is now bugging him.

Right now were at the cafeteria,while I just scan my phone,receiving a text from tiffany who I met at the bar last night,wanting me to hook her up again. Such a whore.

I rolled my eyes and closed my phone "You're not gonna answer back?" Minhyuk asked,who's beside me,playing a game on his phone.

"Later,I had enough with her" I flatly smiled and rested my head in the chair.

"And you're gonna hunt for another one. Seriously dude,you're like a lion who just wants to play its prey then when tired of it they're going to search for another one"
