GX Vid 14 Notes

So this part was about getting 10 wins on Blair mainly, and doing the dual exam. Overall the duels went way longer than I wanted them to, lol

1st Duel
- Toon Gemini Elf can discard cards from your hand, so I try to either play around it or destroy it before it gets an attack off. So that's why at 0:45, I used Burst Stream.
- Chaining book of moon when I did was very helpful, since Blowback would have been snatch stolen.
- With Stein, I should've gone Gatling instead of cyber twin. I didn't count the damage I could inflict, so I was off by a mere 50 points :(

2nd Duel
- This duel was probably the worst one of the video. She summoned Toon Gemini Elf again. She also sets a card in her end phase, most likely Seven Tools. What I really wanted was to activate Metal and trigger a Torrential. But of course, that doesn't happen.
- Mirror Force gets negated, so I have to not use Angel's effect because Gemini would discard a card.
- At around 7:10, with three back row, I'm thinking she has a Magic Jammer. So I activate Metamorph trying to trigger it, but she doesn't have it. So I choose to blind MST and use Stein. But then, she has the damn Torrential lol
- I could've played things differently, but luckily Nimble gave me enough life to make a top decked Cyber stein work out.
Note: I'm pretty sure Seven Tools at one copy is a staple for everyone. And I knew for a fact that Crowler, and probably Banner, ran it at least at two copies. I honestly didn't know that Blair ran two copies as well. She negated both a Mirror Force and Dust Tornado in this duel.

3rd Duel
- At 10:55, with four back row set, I'm hoping that two of them are Seven Tools. I'm thinking that both Seven Tools would be set in the third and fourth slots, so hopefully only the first and second slots are the ones to worry about.
- Cyber Dragon goes untouched, so I'm able to use Cyber Stein the following turn to win.

4th Duel
- I had a total of 6 wins previously on Blair, so this was my last one.
- Metamorphosis + Metal Reflect and Limiter seemed like the way I was going to win this one. So I first use Megamorph to bait out a potential Jammer, since if Metamorphosis was negated, my plays would be ruined.

5th Duel
- Since Blair was done, and I could get two more duels this weekend, I figured I might as well finish off Banner, who I had 8 wins on.
- since Stein or heavy were nowhere in sight, this dual depended on blowback. You gotta run it in my opinion, but it's really annoying when it doesn't go off lol

6th Duel
- At around 21:25, since I got a big Heavy Storm off, I check his grave to see what traps I've already dealt with. So I knew that the only trap that could bother me, was torrential. It just turns out that that was the EXACT card he had... I got some of the unluckiest duels lmao

The last part of the vid is the duel exam. I answered a question incorrectly, and had to reset, since you need to get every single question correct to become King of Games within 12 total exams.

My personal strategy for the Trap practical exam, is to switch back to Water and add a bunch of generic traps. Namely: Jar of Greed, Thunder of Ruler, Threatening Roar, and Waboku. You don't really touch the water deck anymore, and making a whole new deck would be slow.

Since it's been a while since I've shown an exam, I'll mention that the practical exam is not a normal duel, where you try to actually win it via damage. It's faster to just surrender when you score 100 points. I'm lucky that I drew my traps in a timely manner.

The next part will show off a new duelist, Gerard, and add a powerful new card to the deck.
