My Story Idea

The year is 2129, and life is much, much more advanced than it is today, but, not on Earth. You see, after a particularly destructive war on Earth, the planet had become nigh unhabitable, and thus people had to go to another planet to survive. However, during the trip, the space station that held the few survivors had a particularly bad unfixable engine malfunction, and is on a crash course into the sun. With it's engines dead, and no real way to avoid it, the pilot and the people not being cryogenically frozen knows that they don't have long until the eventually perish. Not as wanting to freak the people on the ship out that were being frozen, and wanting to die happy, they decided to put everyone, including themselves,in a simulation and messed with their memories and general state of mind, again, including themselves.

Basically it's like a even bigger, more beautiful Earth, and the simulation is so great, that they can feel, eat, run, basically do practically whatever they want. However unfortunately, it will only be a year until they all fall into the sun. However, unfortunately, another threat is on the horizon. You see, there was a bit of a flaw in the memory program and state of mind program, and some of the people basically turned into terrorists who think that life whould be better under one, evil, cruel, government. They are intelligent, and they could be seen as a evil "Men in black" sort of deal. Basically, think about all the stereotypical "evil" things about the CIA, the FBI, and other branches of the government, and the government themselves, and they will fit this terrorist orginzation to a t. One day, the create a special chip that, once implemented into the brain, they can change that person's senses, including what they see, hear, smell, stuff like that, memories, state of mind, basically, it's a smaller, and particularly crueller version of the simulation they are in right now. After shooting someone in the back of the head with the chip, that person, without realizing it, becomes one of their most dangerous weapons. All the while, the police force of that simulation is trying to take them down, with the main focus of the force being a detective with the name James T. Elliot.

Basically, this is about a story that, while sad in the end, (they do all die in a year after all, and one of the main characters die) is about two people who go through life changing experiences, and in their minds, are heroes to society, but in...well, different ways.

The first main character is the detective, James T. Elliot, who is a bit of an asshole. It's not entirely his fault though, as he has been through some traumatic abuse from his childhood, and has developed suffer ptsd from the experience. Still, he means well, and in if push comes to shove, he will throw himself in harms way if it means protecting an innocent life. Just... don't expect him to be particularly nice in a conversation. He is a master shot, and particularly good problem solver and fighter. However, he also does not think things through when it comes to life and death emergencies, and has gotten close to him and others dying once or twice, or at least getting pretty injured. Still, he is the best detective that got, and by God, he will try and make sure he can help bring that strange costumed murderer to Justice, and also, bring down the evil terrorist orginzation.



The second main character, is a kind, flamboyant man named George H. Damas, who one day, while resting by a tree, was shot in the back of the head, and mysteriously found himself in a fanasty world. After realizing that he was not dead, and does not have any wound on the back of his head, it turns out that the people there are being attacked by evil creatures, and while first wanting nothing to do with it, as he was scared and a terrible fighter, he later decided to help fight when he saw a child die in front of his eyes, with huge gaping wounds, ask him to please help save the world. So, after resolving himself to help fight, he went through training, and, while wearing special armor, can fly and fire highly concentrated beams of energy to kill the evil creatures.



Near the end, James shoots the costumed murderer dead, and it turns out to be George, under the influence of the mind chip. Now finally free from the chip, is in shock, and his final words are : "What...the... what's...going...on...?" Before he dies. Anyway, soon James and a few others takes down the terrorist orginzation, and everything is peachy keen. That is, for about 5 months until they all die.
