  1. The setting of this project will take place in a city. We can call this city Monsteropolis for now, but the city itself is more akin to pre-WW1 Brooklyn.

  3. The city has a ton of buildings, with merchants of different backgrounds selling different things. Although there are actual stores with a ton of items in each, merchants you will find in the city will usually sell only a few items or weapons for a reduced price, the only catch is that they usually won't have the most efficient items at hand (e.i: Groccery Store sells Leather Armor for 65 Zenny, but the Merchant sitting on Abbey street sells them for 45 Zenny).

  5. In order to have the idea of the city in mind, imagine a square with four lines (streets) panning out horizontally and three panning out vertically. The seven total streets will have names referring to whether they're the vertical or horizontal streets. These are the names as planned:

  12. There's a ton of building like I said earlier, but not all buildings will be useful to the player (e.i: Ender walks into a building and expects the armor merchant. Instead there's a bunch of men in business suits discussing whether or not to raise the city's minimum wage). Even if some buildings do appear useless to the player, snooping around never hurts and players may be able to find items or equipment they can use or sell for money

  14. Now, at the right edge of this square model, there is a large bridge going over an ocean, and spans out in the distance. What's on the other side of the bridge is a mystery, perhaps the player should try going across it? In the northwestern part of the city, there's what appears to be an endless sea of trees. On the other side is supposedly another city, but one can only wonder (unless if they can go through the forest).

  16. This city also has an Elementary School (Hooton and Vernon) Hospital (Hall and Vernon) Police Station (Hall and Vinicombe) and a Community Arts/Crafts Center (Hall and Voyse). All of these buildings will contain NPCs to talk to, sidequests to complete, the possible foe to encounter, and items to find/purchase. The School and Hospital will clearly contain items that are for Teachers and Nurses respectively, but these locations will still contain items useful for every class, and even unique weapons that every class has access to, such as tasers, paintbrushes, golf clubs... Although some of these unique weapons may grant some classes a damage boost if their compatible with the weapon (e.i: Musician getting a 1.3x damage boost using a paintbrush).

  18. The Colosseum (where the tourneys will take place) is set right in the heart of the city (Howe and Vinicombe). The Colosseum will contain tougher opponents than the city offers, but after a while, the player may notice something rather odd about the Colosseum. In order to summarize, the city revolves around the Colosseum, as it is one of its only moneymakers. Other players will notice opponents playing rather unfairly or even unfair matchups and/or scenarios (e.i: NiceIce has to fight this spooky lion monster, but he has to do it sitting in a hole he can't get out, or Ender's weapon being cursed/rusted before the battle starts). What I have planned is that the Colosseum is not just entertainment, but runs the city itself.

  20. Players can find buildings that contain the city's elected official discussing about how the city must be changed. In these discussions, players have the option to sneak into these discussions and get key information about the Colosseum and what's happening behind the scenes. In regards of the tourney, the sky's the limit. Players can even try to shut the Colosseum down if they wish to (although it will take a ton of strength and just luck in general to do).

  22. Optional Location: I'm considering this, and I dunno whether or not to go with this idea, but I'm thinking of another location based off of Long Island that the player can travel to. While I don't exactly have an idea for it right now, I'll come back when I do,
