  12. Experience:
  13. Mist HQ / Sr Mod / 100 Players: Mist HQ was my first real HCF/Practice staffing experience. I was given a chance as a helper on this server after applying for the position. The server was a fairly small factions server, averaging around 30 players, eventually it grew to around 100+ players after adding a Practice server. Although the staff team on this server wasn’t the most professional, that was OK. I learned a lot about how to handle a community, even though the community was easy to work with. This server was able to effectively teach me how to be a good and helpful staff, and how to work well with others.
  14. VeltPVP / Trial-Mod / 2500k+ Players: I don't know if I should put this in my application, but I used to be a staff here on VeltPVP. I was a T-Mod for about a week before being demoted for reasons that seem to have varied from what I've heard. But I think the fact that I used to be staff on here is good due to the fact that I know how to to be a staff on Velt and handle the community and player base.
  15. Valux / Trainee / 1k Players: The final staffing position I want to talk about is my time with Valux, a very well known PvP network. Although my time with Valux was short, only being there as a trial moderator, I learned a lot about how a large network staff team should really work. I was able to learn what it means to be a follower. On Valux, I was assigned a mentor. This mentor showed me around the large staff team, including the staff documents. These documents included many useful tips and resources for properly catching hackers and other types of rules breakers. Despite being demoted from this position due to being inactive because of IRL Issues, I still posses this knowledge today, and I do believe that I can use that knowledge to effectively moderate Velt.

  17. Why do you want to be staff?:
  18. I would like to become a staff member here on Velt because this network is one that I really do care about and very much enjoy playing on. Now I know it may sound a little cheesy to go with the old’ “I love to help people, and I like this network,” but that really is true to me. Therefore, I’ll go into detail on what makes this network so enjoyable, and how I believe that moderating it would only make it a greater experience for myself and the rest of the community as a whole. I’ve always had a great passion for being a staff member on Minecraft networks, It brings me great joy to be able to help people out and better the server. The reason I want to be apart of the staff team here on Velt is because I have witnessed what this team does, and how it really works, and I believe that I would fit perfectly with it. Now I know I’ve already mentioned that I would make a perfect fit, but I wanna stress that because of the reasons I think I’ll make a perfect fit. Earlier, I was talking about the network. Yes, I’ll be a good staff member. Yes, I’ll handle hackers. Yes, I won’t abuse. But this time, I’m talking about it for myself. I’ve met so many amazing people here on Velt, and I believe that if I were to join the staff team, that would just open up numerous amounts of opportunities to meet new people, and make friends with a new. Being a staff member is something that I have already experienced before, and I know it is something that I truly do enjoy. I enjoy being a staff member for the same reasons that some people enjoy being able to go to school, that is to meet people, interact with people, and complete some sort of task with people. That’s just what I am, a people person. I believe that Velt is the perfect place for me to fulfill that enjoyment, and I would be extremely happy to serve Velt as a staff member.

  20. Why should we pick you over other applicants?:
  21. I trust that I have a lot of skill and experience, all of which can directly exchange over to a position as a staff part on this server. I don't want to talk about this much but I fell like I can help reduce "closet cheaters" on the server as I am very experienced in Screen sharing and catching cheaters. (Hence my name :P)
  22. Most importantly, I am an extremely dedicated person. I am not someone who just goes from server to server, but one that likes to find an amazing community, and stick with it. Devotion is a good characteristic for any staff member since it demonstrates that they will carry out their occupation, and that they enjoy it. Be that as it may, a staff member can't simply carry out their job, a staff member should carry out their job well. This implies truly thinking about what they do, and how they do it. As a staff member, I would make a point to take after all guidelines and rules, and I would always be open for guidance and any other types of advice that gets thrown my way.
  23. I'm effective. All that I do is completed with a reason. My time spent online is utilized to adequately moderate the players, and help the certain players who require assistance. Speaking of my time spent online, I will also be an extremely active staff member and can guarantee I will be on the server each day for at least 5-10 hours as long as no IRL issues prevent me from doing so. Regardless of whether it be on the forums or the server, I'll generally help anybody that needs it, however in the meantime I utilize my time productively. Effectiveness lets me have the capacity to utilize one's opportunity carefully by limiting the "blank area," in the middle of any “event." An event could be anything, really. An event could be helping a player, restricting a hacker, or simply chatting with other staff members. I perceive that being a staff member implies that I need to complete stuff, and productivity and efficiency encourages me to complete stuff rapidly and quality. When helping a player, I don't disregard them, yet I don't invest excessively unneeded energy with them. This could imply that when a player requests that how get to the forums, I let them know that they have to go to their web browser and enter our name into their url box. This is something that should be possible rapidly and effortlessly, and it enables me to proceed onward to the following individual who needs assistance, so that next individual isn't stuck waiting for too long, and in turn having a bad experience on the network. People don't like waiting too long and become frustrated, and may associate bad things with Velt, and disappointed people may turn into rule breakers and hackers.
  24. I'm friendly. I have interacted quite a bit with the players and staff on Velt and I'm sure everyone I have talked to on Velt can vouch that I am a nice guy and did whatever I could to help them in whatever they needed. I get this from my time with my old baseball team. I have learned how to be nice but also make sure they know that they can't mess around and joke around but instead have to focus on the task at hand. I also umpire games to make some money and learn to assert myself and not sit back while things are going on. I'm also helpful. This goes along with the fact I am friendly. As I have said, I do whatever I can to help the loyal players on the server and try and make their experience the best possible. I am also part of the leadership team at my school where I help plan events and do community service at the school in order to help our school's overall community. That is what I'd like to be able to do as a staff member here on Velt.
