➢Background: Mia was born in Toronto, Canada by a Canadian mother and Korean father. She grew up with a happy smile on her face all the time and she was always outside playing and having fun. That was until she faced the horror of school where she had to do work all day and barely have time to have fun after. Mia absolutely hated the guts out of school. She hated how it kind of took away her freedom by forcing her to learn things she doesn’t want to learn. In Canada the teachers were strict and wouldn’t give her any freedom to do what she loved. What Mia loved was music. She loved the soothing sound in her ears that could lift her up when she’s down or put her down when she’s too happy. She loved the deep thought that is put into the lyrics and the meaning that certain songs portray. She loved the feeling of listening to yourself play and listening to songs that people created and came up with in their own heads. She was really interested in music and she knew it for sure when she started getting guitar and saxophone lessons during 3rd grade. Her view about school also changed during middle school when she was placed in a performing arts school. She was so happy that he parents allowed her to attend this type of school so early in age, but her parents wanted to see Mia happy, and they did. Everyday she came back smiling, telling her parents all about her day and what she learned, showing them how her skills have improved and what not. She was taught how to sing, dance, rap, and play guitar and saxophone at the school, all the things she loved. After going to a PA middle school, she also attended a PA high school for two years before she was scouted for SM Entertainment and became an official trainee.

➢Personality: Mia is the laziest, crazy person ever. Yes, I know those two words usually don’t go together, just let me explain. At the dorm she’s always lazing around, either on the couch or in her room. She’s usually sleeping after schedule because she’s exhausted. She gets tired very easily and sometimes falls asleep on the member next to her in the car. In the mornings, when the girls are to start their schedule, Mia’s the last one up. You’re gonna have to work to wake her up because she is a deep sleeper. She’s usually the excuse when Diamante is late to schedule. She enjoys her sleep and if you wake her up anytime that’s not in the morning or when there’s an emergency, she’ll flip out and tackle the person who woke her up (not hurting them though). After that she becomes really grouchy and grumpy, usually putting on a pout face and scrunched eyebrows for a good hour or so because she’s so annoyed. She’s usually the first one to get tired during practices and filming M/Vs. Mia is a heavy eater. She eats a lot more than her tiny stomach can handle. She stuffs her face like a pig and is always excited when she sees food. Usually after dinner all the plates are cleared and Mia’s in her room with a mild headache and a bad stomachache. Luckily, she has a fast metabolism, but she does gain some weight every year. Now, Mia has an inner personality to her. It seems like a whole other person inside of her. She’s loud, crazy, even a bit annoying and obnoxious sometimes. At the dorm she really has to take some chill pills because she’s constantly making kpop related jokes and even non-kpop related jokes. She thinks she’s so funny when she’s not and she does the weirdest things. She’ll randomly dab all the time and sometimes she’ll just fall asleep out of nowhere at the worst times. She's very protective of her members and will beat the shit out of anyone who insults them or makes them feel uncomfortable. She’s always nervous when it comes to stages and shows because she doesn’t know if she’ll do well, she doubts her abilities, and sometimes she’ll pace around the dressing room because she’s trying to calm herself down. She just becomes a nervous wreck. This leads to her practicing harder, which is why she’s the first one out everyday. But, that doesn't mean that's she not cocky about her looks. She enjoys looking at herself in the mirror and when she gets a close up during stages, she'll always smirk and wink. She Lastly she’s very sassy and always has something to say. She has the best comebacks and likes roasting people when they’re wrong or mean to her or one of the members. It usually involves people’s eyebrows or their ego. She really just likes to make people laugh, entertain herself, see others smile, and succeed in the industry. She's really just the BamBam of the group mixed with a pinch of Suga xD.
