  1. If we analyze some popular online brokers, trading platforms or exchanges in Hypestats.com, we can write a simple stats comparison like this:
  2.
  3. binance.com: 19.7M daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $8,271,731
  4. eToro.com: 8.3M daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $2,890,590
  5. kraken.com: 1.7M daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $1,813,958
  6. bittrex.com: 685.3K daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $578,064
  7. hitbtc.com: 438.8K daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $82,675.50
  8. bitmex.com: 379.6K daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $137,447
  9. degiro.nl: 256.4K daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $271,508
  10. bit2me.com: 182.4K daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $29,041
  11. bit2d.com: 345 daily visitors, and a monthly revenue of $337
  12.
  13. ( note that I used the domain ‘degiro.nl’ instead of ‘degiro.com’ because Degiro is founded in Netherlands and it is popular there and has more visitors there, so it is a more realistic and accurate domain comparison this way. )
  14.
  15. In the comparison we can see clearly that the domain ‘bit2d.com’ has the worst stats. It doesn’t even have 350 daily visitors per day, and a monthly revenue of $337. Oh my god.
  16.
  17. So I think it is safe to determine that bit2d is not legit because a real exchange couldn’t survive with that amount of visitors, and taking into account that not all visitors will be registered users / clients using the platform. Lets say that only 50 or 100 persons are operating daily in that platform, it is just ridiculous. Even bit2me.com, which is founded in Spain and it is very unknown exchange outside its country, has close to 200k daily visitors.
  18.
  19. Oh, and a small detail, which is another red flag: the owners of bit2d didn’t registered the domain ‘bit2d.co.uk’ (from England). The domain is available for only €6.16/yr.
  20.
  21. But there are more red flaws…
  22.
  23. If we search for ‘bit2d’ in Google or DuckDuckgo it will only find the bit2d.com domain in the search results, followed by a pair of scam analysis websites like scam-detector.com. So in these search engines I was not able to find a single article or review from any recognized source, in fact from any source, because there is nothing of nothing, and not a single hint of a marketing campaign, just nothing of nothing.
  24.
  25. I was not able to find a single indication that bit2d is a legit service and that it is being massively promoted and publicized, as any other exchange would do, because without customers / visitors they cannot survive.
  26.
  27. The owners of bit2d, rather, it seems that they are doing their best not to make themselves known too much so as not to attract the attention of legal and police authorities and potential fraud complainants, and thus prolong the fraud as long as they can go unnoticed, just making themselves known in closed circles as in Telegram groups, contacting people in Telegram like they did with me.
  28.
  29. But the most important reason why I don’t trust bit2d: nobody gives money for nothing, or at least not 0.19 bitcoins.
