- BTC's Judgement
- Round 1
- Pro vs MrKing
- Response 1
- King
- * Jackie is faster than anyone who has been speed equalized to the tier setter. Note: Only combat speed.
- * Team King has good piercing versus Team Pro's bad piercing durability
- * Team King is better durability wise with Senji and Death.
- * In-character behavior.
- Pro
- * Team King's piercing isn't as good relative to Team Pro's durability
- * Neptuneman disarms Team King
- * Team Pro's piercing is better than Team King's piercing durability
- * Healing factors won't matter
- * Gourry is about Jackie's speed anyways
- * Gourry is likely particularly effective against Team King
- * Neptuneman can CC his enemy team
- * Team Pro is strong
- Response 2
- King
- * Team King's piercing durability is good, and Pro is downplaying with incorrect feat interpretation
- * Demons in one setting do not pertain to demons in another.
- * Neptuneman's TK might be self sabotaging, and doesn't even actually work as intended due to Team King's inherent defenses
- * Flow of combat
- Pro
- * Neptuneman won't get hindered by his own ability
- * Neptuneman works as intended
- * King's defenses against said magnetism works with assumptions that may not actually be true to his characters.
- * Team Pro will more likely go apeshit faster than Team King
- * A lot of things King argued weren't stipped in
- * Team King hasn't any real way to go against the grappling argued
- * Bayonet anti-feats even if fake, there's more
- * Death's feats don't make him fast
- * Stat re-establishment.
- Conclusion
- While Pro had some pretty suspect feat interpretation like the thing about the bayonets (I don't even see any sign of explicit bleeding) or "featless" tentacles (something being 'featless' isn't an automatic demerit, its a blank slate), I do think his side was argued more effectively than King, giving him the win. He points out that a lot of King's arguments stem around stips or conditions that weren't even explicitly said to exist, which I think was a good move, and I don't frankly buy King's arguments around his defenses against the magnetism. That alone would yield Pro a COLOSSAL advantage, if he also didn't point out numerous other advantages his own side has. I think the stat re-establishment at the end was a AWESOME move, and I'd recommend other debaters here to do it as well as it helps cement why his side's superiority is true.
- Pro wins.
