Grape, Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 The Golden all came out at full price for this system they released on initially.
None of these even had DLC for free to give you.
Also, looking at the trailers, Persona 5 The Royal looks like a full plot rewrite, so it's not gonna be the same experience as the Persona 5 that's available now.
Which is less than what Persona 4 Gold and FES did, and a little less than what P3P did.
