Overpowers disorientating spell

Jodah took two steps forward, and the ground seemed to heave beneath him. His stomach dropped, and the bile rose in the back of his throat. He had not felt this bad since the last night he spent in Ghed, before he joined the army. Blue magic was responsible there, as well.

Jodah dropped to one knee, and the spell seemed to intensify, attacking his ears and increasing the pressure at the base of his eyes. He groped through his mental manor and found the spell to cut the energy powering the opponent’s spell. With little more than a few bits of mana, he shot the spell from his mind, mentally willing it back along the conduit by which it came. There was a soft, puffing noise, and the blue mage staggered back a pace.
