The Guac: Combat was fun and fluid just like the last game and the combo system rewards were even better this time around. They took out most of the undodgeable attack enemies that plagued Guacamelee:STCE. The platforming was very fun and rewarding and there were only a few optional areas I struggled with although I would've preferred a bit more challenge areas. Also they seemed to take out using skills to make basic jumps like they had everywhere in the first game which was nice. The skill tree system although not really a tree, was actually very nice and I was glad I didnt have to run to a shop all the time. The story was humorous the entire way through and the jokes spattered throughout were pretty good except the dank timeline. special shoutouts to the Microtransaction timeline

The Not So Guac: I did have a couple of faults for the game. It had too much useless gold to the point where I finished with almost 100k with most things from the shop costing around 3-4k and having a limited number of things to buy, the game just threw money at me with nothing to spend it on a the end. It did do a good job of giving me money throughout the game to feel like I was progressing with more skills. Even though the game has an excellent combo system, once in a while it gives you fights that you dont do anything and it gives you a ridiculous combo, the main one being at the end it gives you a free 999 combo even though they have a 250 combo achievement. That's just a small thing that bugs me. The biggest issue with the game though, all the bosses were fun and challenging except the final boss was super easy and forgettable. Yeah buying everything from the shop makes you kinda strong but when you can combo the final boss for a quarter of his hp 4 times in a row, it doesnt feel like you really accomplished anything.

all in all I'd give the guacamole 2 an 8/10
