- F/GO Multiple accounts guide
- --Requires Rooted Android, except for method three--
- There's no way to fuck this up unless you do something horribly, horribly wrong but you might want to backup
- your stuff before doing any of this in case something bad happens, you have been warned.
- There are three methods to play with multiple accounts.
- The longer the preparation takes, the faster it will be to switch between accounts.
- The extra effort is worth it, though.
- - Method one: Manual data copying
- Needs almost no preparation, but switching between accounts takes a minute.
- - Method two: Multiple app profiles
- Involves installing a program to switch between profiles.
- The preparation takes around 10 mins, but switching between accounts takes 20 seconds at most.
- - Method three: Multiple apks
- Involves modifying the game apk's name to install multiple copies, one with each profile.
- The preparation takes 20 mins, but switching between accounts takes just a couple seconds.
- Keep in mind that method two and three will take extra space in the device for every extra account you store.
- You'll need around 130 mbs of space for every account, but you can have as many alts as your phone allows.
- The third method is recommended, if they all seem equally good to you.
- Method one: Manual data copying
- You'll need a file explorer with root access for this method.
- I strongly recommend the app FX File Explorer with the Root plugin, since its split-window mode will prove
- useful. Look for it on the Play Store.
- The following steps will refer to FX commands.
- - Open FX and create a folder somewhere (for example, inside the Documents folder).
- Make one folder for every account you'll store.
- - Touch the fx icon and select split view, then in the other window touch System (Root) and navigate to
- "/data/data/com.aniplex.fategrandorder/".
- - Long press on the "files" icon, then select "add bookmark" and choose ok.
- This will make it faster to move files the next time.
- - Touch the "files" folder and select the authsave.dat, authsave2.dat and signupsave.dat files.
- (Some may be missing if you just started the game, it's normal.)
- - Press cut, then touch an empty space in the upper window and press paste.
- Now you can open the game and it'll start with a new account.
- Every time you want to switch accounts:
- - Close the game, open FX and open the split view.
- - In the one window open the folder you created for the account currently active,
- in the other one just press the "files" bookmark you created earlier.
- - Cut the three files mentioned before and paste them to the backup folder, then switch to
- the folder of the account you want to use and move the three files there to the "files" folder.
- - Close FX and open the game.
- Method two: Multiple app profiles
- - Download and install Titanium Backup Pro.
- (This method might also work with Android 5.1 or phones that support multiple profiles without having to use Titanium backup)

- - Make a "Main" profile, your current Fate/grand order account will be bound to this profile after completing the next step.
- - Set up Fate/Grand order as a multi-profile application.
- The Puzzle and Dragons General has a very handy useful guide for this:
- - After you have your Main profile and have set Fate/Grand order as a multi-profile application, create a new profile and
- launch Fate/Grand order. If you have done it correctly, the game will launch like its your first time running it and
- download the additional files.
- - Launch Fate/Grand order, the game should launch you directly to the title screen and you're free to play normally.
- - If you ever want to switch back to your first profile, go to Titanium backup and switch profiles.
- After switching profiles, start up fate grand/order and it should launch your account.
- Now you can switch between alts with a few taps on the screen.
- Method three: Multiple apks
- - Follow this guide to modify the apk's name:
- - Bind each account to its game installation.
- - To switch between accounts, just close the game and open the other one.
