  1. F/GO Multiple accounts guide
  2. --Requires Rooted Android, except for method three--
  3.
  4. There's no way to fuck this up unless you do something horribly, horribly wrong but you might want to backup
  5. your stuff before doing any of this in case something bad happens, you have been warned.
  6.
  7. There are three methods to play with multiple accounts.
  8. The longer the preparation takes, the faster it will be to switch between accounts.
  9. The extra effort is worth it, though.
  10.
  11. - Method one: Manual data copying
  12. Needs almost no preparation, but switching between accounts takes a minute.
  13.
  14. - Method two: Multiple app profiles
  15. Involves installing a program to switch between profiles.
  16. The preparation takes around 10 mins, but switching between accounts takes 20 seconds at most.
  17.
  18. - Method three: Multiple apks
  19. Involves modifying the game apk's name to install multiple copies, one with each profile.
  20. The preparation takes 20 mins, but switching between accounts takes just a couple seconds.
  21.
  22. Keep in mind that method two and three will take extra space in the device for every extra account you store.
  23. You'll need around 130 mbs of space for every account, but you can have as many alts as your phone allows.
  24. The third method is recommended, if they all seem equally good to you.
  25.
  26.
  27. Method one: Manual data copying
  28.
  29. You'll need a file explorer with root access for this method.
  30. I strongly recommend the app FX File Explorer with the Root plugin, since its split-window mode will prove
  31. useful. Look for it on the Play Store.
  32. The following steps will refer to FX commands.
  33.
  34. - Open FX and create a folder somewhere (for example, inside the Documents folder).
  35. Make one folder for every account you'll store.
  36.
  37. - Touch the fx icon and select split view, then in the other window touch System (Root) and navigate to
  38. "/data/data/com.aniplex.fategrandorder/".
  39.
  40. - Long press on the "files" icon, then select "add bookmark" and choose ok.
  41. This will make it faster to move files the next time.
  42.
  43. - Touch the "files" folder and select the authsave.dat, authsave2.dat and signupsave.dat files.
  44. (Some may be missing if you just started the game, it's normal.)
  45.
  46. - Press cut, then touch an empty space in the upper window and press paste.
  47.
  48. Now you can open the game and it'll start with a new account.
  49.
  50. Every time you want to switch accounts:
  51.
  52. - Close the game, open FX and open the split view.
  53.
  54. - In the one window open the folder you created for the account currently active,
  55. in the other one just press the "files" bookmark you created earlier.
  56.
  57. - Cut the three files mentioned before and paste them to the backup folder, then switch to
  58. the folder of the account you want to use and move the three files there to the "files" folder.
  59.
  60. - Close FX and open the game.
  61.
  62.
  63. Method two: Multiple app profiles
  64.
  65. - Download and install Titanium Backup Pro.
  66. (This method might also work with Android 5.1 or phones that support multiple profiles without having to use Titanium backup)

  68.
  69. - Make a "Main" profile, your current Fate/grand order account will be bound to this profile after completing the next step.
  70.
  71. - Set up Fate/Grand order as a multi-profile application.
  72. The Puzzle and Dragons General has a very handy useful guide for this:

  74.
  75. - After you have your Main profile and have set Fate/Grand order as a multi-profile application, create a new profile and
  76. launch Fate/Grand order. If you have done it correctly, the game will launch like its your first time running it and
  77. download the additional files.
  78.
  79. - Launch Fate/Grand order, the game should launch you directly to the title screen and you're free to play normally.
  80.
  81. - If you ever want to switch back to your first profile, go to Titanium backup and switch profiles.
  82. After switching profiles, start up fate grand/order and it should launch your account.
  83.
  84. Now you can switch between alts with a few taps on the screen.
  85.
  86.
  87. Method three: Multiple apks
  88.
  89. - Follow this guide to modify the apk's name:

  91.
  92. - Bind each account to its game installation.
  93.
  94. - To switch between accounts, just close the game and open the other one.
