Alexithymiaa: Alexithymiaa: "Sorry..." He mumbled a little sheepishly, diverting his eyes down to his shoes. "I guess that people like sitting around the fire place? Yule logs?" He asked unsurely. // Jade leaned her arms on the counter, her eyes dropping down to the book. "Well it definitely caught my interest. I'll take this one."-
Tsaaq: "Oh." Bliss said a little skeptically at the mention of things going on. "Alright." She srhrugged condescendingly. She stared blankly at Adam a moment. "I don't think so... I'm thinking moreso something to do with snow." She said awkwardly. "Have we done Icicles before? I think we have. How about..." She trailed off before sighing at Jade, moving quickly to the register.
Covet: Yeah, I think Icicles was last year. -Eli said looking at Bliss- Maybe something like... silver and gold like that song? It'd still be classy, without being definite holiday colors. -He suggested, then he gave a smile to Jade- Perfect. You'll have to let me know how it is, see if it's something other people will like as well. I think that one's a series. I'll have to double check on it- Giving his best customer service as he rang her up- Twelve thirty four please.
Alexithymiaa: "Silver and gold is nice. Maybe we should try to get away from the silver and white colors though?" He asked unsurely. // Jade pushed her hand into her purse to pull out her credit card, passing it over to Eli. "A series? Can you check for me? Because if it is, I want the other ones too."-
Tsaaq: She put her hand on her chin and and nodded her head. "But if it's silver and gold then it'll be lovely and classic, like the song as Eli mentioned earlier... What other colors would we use? Winter, snow. Those things are white..." Bliss paused before pursing her lips. "I don't know. What colors did you have in mind?" She tilted her head at him.
Covet: Give me just a second. -he said swiping Jade's card for the ammount, then handed her, her reciept before he started to look up the other books-  Looks like there's 3 more, I can order them in and have them here by Next Monday...fingers crossed. -He told her, then responded to Bliss and Adam.-  There's always Blue Christmas.... Everything would be done in shades of Blue? But would that be too...depressing?
Alexithymiaa: "I like blues and purples... but I don't think we should do anything too focused on one individual holiday. We don't want anyone to feel left out." He paused, thinking about what felt like the holidays to him. "What about like... a winter forrest? Snowy evergreens?" // Jade took her card back and her receipt, nodding to Eli. "Yeah, order them for me. Thanks Eli, you're the best." She smiled at him and replaced her card into her bag, sliding the receipt in with it.-
Tsaaq: "Blue?" She repeated with a hint of outrage. "Maybe like, a baby blue?" She said quickly. "Snowy evergreens? Green?" Bliss said, looking as if her world was tumbling down. "What would I wear to that? What would you wear?" She asked Eli quickly.
Covet: -Eli chuckled and shrugged- It's nothing, just doing my job, making the customer happy. - Eli looked at Adam- Yeah, something forresty could be cool. So long as we can add some aspen accents too. I think that always looks classy in the winter. I think you'd look lovely in a Dark Green dress. It would look good against your skin with your hair. I could find something similar, shopping for me is the easy part.
Alexithymiaa: "Well that doesn't mean that everyone has to wear green. It's just the setting and the scenery. I think it could be something different we could try..." He trailed off, letting out a sigh. "We can sleep on it and discuss it more tomorrow though if ya'll want." He moved over to the computer, clocking himself out before turning back to them. "I'll see ya'll tomorrow." With a small wave of his hand, he turned to head out of the shop and out to his truck to head home. // "Thanks." She smiled at Eli once again before picking up her new book, moving through the shop to head outside for her cab.-
Tsaaq: "Goodnight." Bliss sighed. "I don't know. I suppose it could work. I'm just worried the theme won't catch on. But if you both think it's a good idea we can talk it over with the rest of the cabinet." She said to Eli, glancing at Jade as she left. Bliss went to ready things for closing.
Covet: I think we can make it work. We'll come up with a better theme title maybe? To make it more cohesive. -He smiled at her and waved Adam and Jade off, then looked back at her- Okay.... Now I can update you a little. -Eli said to Bliss- Unless you'd rather not know what's going on with Hayley. I know you said you don't really have time for her...But I don't know everything.
Tsaaq: She nodded as she went to wipe down the tables. "If it's just her not wanting to be a team player then I don't want to hear about it." She said dismissively. "She hasn't been around for almost two weeks. I don't understand." Bliss got a little angry as she moved from table to table.
Covet: -Eli just shook his head- Alright. I'll leave it at that then. But don't be so quick to cast her off. It could be something serious. -He said looking up from the cash register counting it down- She's taking a leave of absense for a bit. When she gets the chance, I'll have a talk with her and see if she'd still like a place to work here.  I'm being understanding of the situation for now. -He added in a calm tone-  Just like I was for you when you were having personal issues.
Tsaaq: Bliss furrowed her eyebrows at im, moving towards the counter. "So she isn't fired?" She asked flatly. "I don't know what 'personal issues' means but I suppose..." Bliss muttered, her voice wavering a moment before she cleared her throat. "How can you be understanding if you don't know what's happening?"
Covet: Because I know a little more than what I told you, but you made it clear you didn't want to know more. It's my better nature. She's not going to be on the schedule, but I'm leaving her name up there for now. -He explained to her-
Tsaaq: "I didn't make it clear. All I said was if it's just nonsense then I don't want to hear about it, is that what you're implying?" She asked quickly. "So she's still employed, well... It's out of my jurisdiction I suppose... " She murmured.
Covet: You don't get to be conditionally concerned. That's not fair to Hayley. -Eli said to her- Yes. She's still employed. Just not getting paid. I don't know what's going on, other than it's serious. So I'm giving her the time she needs. -He finished the drawer and put the cash bag in the safe, locking it-
Tsaaq: Bliss stared at him a moment. "Are you cross with me or something?" She asked him, crossing her arms over her chest.
Covet: A little. I don't know if you'd understand why, without getting cross with me in return. -He said with a sigh, leaning against the counter, rubbing his hands over his face- I'm just frustrated
Tsaaq: "Just talk to me." Bliss said, sounding a little angry already. "I can't read you mind, you have to explain how you feel to me."
Covet: I don't understand your attitude lately. I get that you're taking a firm had with some things. But you just seem so selfish lately. Putting your personal agenda before anything else, regardless of people's feelings. I mean, People took a genuine concern in you when you were feeling pretty low. And now that the tables are turned... You don't seem to have even a moment to care in return? -He said trying to explain- It just doesn't sit well with me, I guess because I'm a stereotypical nice guy.  I legitely care for all the employees here. I think that makes for a strong bond between everyone.
Tsaaq: Bliss blinked a few times before she looked away, lowing her arms to her sides. "Well..." She began to say before sighing. "I have to go, I have to be up early tomorrow. We can talk about this tomorrow." Bliss said hurriedly, kissing his cheek as she made a beeline for the door. "Night."
Covet: -Eli sighed and pulled her in for a hug before she bolted it off after she kissed his cheek-  Okay. I'll be around to help set up for the festival. -he said- Goodnight, get to the dorms safely, My Dear.
