Graduation Announcement

I would like to apologize to all of those who have supported me. I am so sorry for surprising you with the sudden graduation announcement.

I began to want to grow more, and to be a senbatsu member of SKE48 became my goal. This was probably because my fans allowed me to “rank in” for my 2nd time at last year’s sousenkyo. I received not only great memories but also confidence these 2 years. That is a big thing for me because when I debuted, I was shy and never thought of wanting to be at the front. It is also the truth that I feel thankful that I, who has never had the slightest thought about it, am someone who had the pleasure of uttering the word "senbatsu," presumptuous it may be, and who can keep standing in front of the fans forever.

I actually have a lot of things I still want to do. I also wanted to fulfill my election promise. I wanted to talk to everyone at a graduation concert rather than disappearing suddenly.

It’s endless to think of the many things I want to do.

What can I do for my fans? Was I able to give back to them at all?

Little by little, especially this past year, I felt like I was able to grow throughout this journey with my fans. I was able to be earnest and pressure myself positively.

There were many happy, fun things, but there were more difficult things the past 2 years. I can say that “I was able to go hard” because of everything that I experienced which I treasure.

I appreciate all my fans and those who were part of this journey for accepting such a person as myself.

I wanted to guide and be a role model for 9th gen and future members of SKE48 throughout my life, but I was unable to do so.

So I have a request for everyone. Please continue to support SKE48 even though I’m not there. And when a new seed pops out, please watch over them with warmth. It may not be right away but with the ray of confidence, that girl will greatly flourish.

Together with the fans, I was able to prove the infinite possibility of SKE48. That is why I want this group to be a place where infinite possibility spreads.

I came to this conclusion because of the illness of my eye. I have fallen ill many times and continued to be an active member while frequenting the hospital. I re-realized that this is not something for someone who is physically weak. I will no longer be a part of the entertainment business, but will continue to be forward minded. Please say hi when you see me somewhere. And please don’t worry.
