  13.
  14. 06:45 EDT Woke up on my bed early, with the light
  15.
  16.
  17. I woke up in my bed naturally this morning, with the sun beaming
  18. down on my face through the slats of the window shade. Quietly got
  19. out of bed, headed to the bathroom, put in my contacts, showered,
  20. shaved, etc. Got dressed, put some water on the boil[N1].
  21. I made a bowl of oatmeal with fruit; ate it I listened to
  22. music[M1].
  23.
  24. I headed out at around 11:30 EDT towards Freshfield in Washington
  25. Plaza down the road in Flintville, for grocery shopping.
  26.
  27.
  28. 12:00 EDT Grocery shopping at Freshfield and Gabby's Goods
  29.
  30. I bought green, yellow and dark green bell peppers and berries at
  31. Gabby's Goods (I'm done buying non-Organic berries, and I can't
  32. find any at Freshfield), and apples and pears at Freshfield.
  33.
  34. At Gabby's Goods, I received a text from A.R. inviting me
  35. to Starbucks. "K. is here", he added. "Ok. ETA 30 minutes
  36. D2D", I responded [Indeed, within half an hour, I was walking to
  37. Starbucks.]
  38.
  39.
  40. 13:00 EDT Met with A. and N. at Starbucks on Northfield Ave.
  41.
  42. After driving home and dumping the groceries on my counter, I
  43. quickly walked over to Starbucks on Northfield Ave., where I met with
  44. A., N., G. and A.'s "step-daughter" (his term, not sure
  45. what the entails) Jennifer (she's 20, Ukrainian and gorgeous). We
  46. talked about [...]
  47.
  48.
  49. 15:00 EDT Drove to the Historic National Memorial
  50.
  51. Driving to Allentown was a project, as always. It's even worse
  52. considering how I don't have a proper holder for this phone, so that
  53. it sits precariously on my thigh with me having move my head down to
  54. look at it as I drive (strike 1), it losing GPS signal midway into
  55. the drive (strike 2), its audio directions not being darned loud
  56. enough (strike 3), and Allentown's roads being fucking confusing
  57. for me (strike 4). I actually passed the proper entrance to the
  58. place and was headed (via Google Maps' re-routing) towards a wild
  59. goose chase towards some back entrance that I found was gated off
  60. and locked ("Access Road" or "Service Road", one of the two). It
  61. took me fifteen minutes to find my way back to King Street and then
  62. to the proper entrance on Callone Drive, since the Google Maps GPS
  63. was intent on taking me back to that locked back road.
  64.
  65.
  66. 16:00 EDT Saw B.B.'s "Overture"
  67.
  68. At the venue, I saw the orchestral performance of my coworker B.B.'s
  69. composition, "Overture". It was very moving. He's been working on
  70. it for a decade now. Met B.'s wife, M., and their son M. Also met
  71. members of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, including an Indian
  72. girl P., a woman named A. (she played cello, she's from Germany but
  73. has lived here in America for many years, and we spoke about my experience in Israel
  74. and about how I play piano), H.H. (violin), and K. [something]
  75. (violin). B.B.'s Overture happened in the middle; the performance
  76. was of movie songs, and it was positively packed with people. I
  77. took photos and recorded the Overture's entirety with my Samsung
  78. Galaxy S3.
  79.
  80.
  81. 19:00 EDT Came home exhausted
  82.
  83. I drove back from Allentown and by the end felt absolutely
  84. exhausted. I had intended to go to the gym, but now there was no
  85. chance of that. I ate, made a HUGE salad. I call it "Son of
  86. Salador" in honor of a previous giant salad I had made previously on
  87. (20130601).
  88.
  89. Anyway: not only did I not go to the gym, but I also did not work on
  90. my InternetSecurity4All project. I'm supposed to have something
  91. meaningful to show the rest of the group by tomorrow (20130630)...
  92.
  93.
  94. -------
  95. Notes:
  96.
  97. N1. Personal coffeemaker. What a piece of garbage. Apparently its
  98. heating element doesn't work anymore, and it doesn't heat up the
  99. water that much. I made do with boiling the water in the proper
  100. water boiler and using the filter apparatus from the coffeemaker
  101. to filter the coffee. I'll get a new one at Target. It's like
  102. $15. Anyway.. I used the Ethiopian coffee I had
  103. bought this past Sunday (20130623). I prefer matcha to coffee
  104. personally, but nonetheless it's good to have it around in case
  105. others want it.
  106.
  107.
  108. -------
  109. General Notes:
  110.
  111. GN1. Driving to and back from Allentown. I hit congestion on the
  112. ABC Bridge. Fuck. It. Is this what next week
  113. bodes for me now that we're working back at HQ in Farfield
  114. instead of at the client site in Flintville? Ugh.
  115.
  116.
  117. -------
  118. Music:
  119.
  120. M1. Sixpence None the Richer - Don't Dream It's Over
  121. Listened to this in the morning.
  122.
  123. M2. Kobi Oz - Mizorim Nosafim (album)
  124. Listened to this on the car trip to Gabby's Goods, to Freshfield
  125. Allentown and back.
  126.
  127. M3. Kobi Oz - Mizmorey Nevuchim (album)
  128. Listened to this on the car trip to My Gabby's Goods, to Freshfield
  129. and to Allentown and back.
  130.
  131. M4. Oren Lavie - The Other Side of the Sea (album)
  132. Listened to this quietly in the background as I navigated the
  133. fucking project that is driving to Allentown and back.
  134.
