  8. A skilled tutor can accelerate the rating of learning of those they teach. When well versed and skilled in the subject, this individual would be able to guide others in avoiding pitfalls and mistakes that wasted time for them, and push them directly into best practices in identifying the best way forwards. This, obviously requires that the teacher is on a higher level then the prospective student, and requires that they actively guide and assist them in their learning as they break down information and run their student through drills and exercises.
  9. [Decrease the amount of required RP paragraphs for learning a Social Perk Tier by the user’s Tutor Social Perk Tier * 2.]
  10. [T1 and T2 can only be reduced by 5 RP paragraphs max. A T5 can not reduced in required RP paragraphs.]
  11. [Must be used once for each student guided if a group is being taught.]
  12. [The tutor must have the Social Perk they are teaching at a higher Tier then their chosen students in order for them to benefit from this technique.]

This makes learning easier, and even the least studious people find issues they have with the subject broken down into easily digestible information. A Tier 2 Social Perk.
  18. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19. Brennen Astraea nodded and advanced, the flat of his blade the side he weilded in battle here. He would aim a singleular strike for the center of mass upon Alexander's body, wasteing no time in trying to show him the extent of his current abilities.
  20.
  21. Brennen Astraea nods in understanding, backing a few steps up and returning to a ready postion. His shield held in the postion that marks him as at least base line trained in it's useage for defense. His sword poised and ready. He was smileing, ready to learn.
  22.
  23. "Yes Sir."*
  24.
  25. Brennen Astraea blinked and finally understood. He had expected this to be a blind exchange, as he'd come to expect as such in his training. Alexander was giveing him the chance to display his full range of skills. He would be happy to do so.
  26.
  27. He surged forward, bringing his sword high into the air, an upward strike aimed for his chest and the savagely back down, his goal clear.
  28.
  29. "Eagle Talon"
  30.
  31. He called out, before shifting, and aiming to send a set of three strikes in wide arcs towards Alexander's chest, in wide arcs, indivitive of their name sake.
  32.
  33. "Three Leaf clover"
  34.
  35. Brennen Astraea followed the the blows with two more intended strikes, bringing his blade above himself, before slashing down, only to switch the grip upon his hilt, shifting it at the last moment, though poorly.
  36.
  37. "Imperial Wrath"
  38.
  39. This was followed up by the male backing away, swinging his blade suddenly back up into the air and then savagely back down, with a shocking display of range, to it's user anyway
  40.
  41. Brennen Astraea nodded as he was instructed and understood the words he'd been shared. He would retake his basic postion, paying close attention to his footwork. He was throughly enjoying the tutalge that came from Alexander.
  42.
  43. He would shift his body, as if he was responding to another strike, his feet shifting his body to move more fluidly, showing off his natural gift for flexability and gymnastics, blocking the invisable blow before shifting his blade to the right. This would be followed by a sudden forward surge of motion, aiming to send a strike with the swordpoint towards Alexander, to show him he'd grasped the basics of what he'd been told.
  44.
  45. Brennen Astraea blinked again in understanding, though sparing a glance to his left. He noted Lucas, another of his clan. He couldn't help the massive smile he now held on his face. He was no longher the only male of his age group or family he knew! He'd call out! - 10
  46.
  47. "Hail! Well met Lucas! I am Brennen, also of house Astraea, A lion cub if you will! I hope we can be fast friends cousin!"
  48.
  49. He called out, before retuning his gaze to his teacher, and shifting his stnace slightly, fluidly allowing his body to move into a fencer like postion, before sending a few stabbing strikes, focusing only on the speed of the strikes, and not the power behind them, as Alexander had instructed.
  50.
  51. "Like so?"
  52.
  53. Brennen Astraea actually raises up and take his blade out, watchign the priestess of god train lucas, he would fall in-step beside the other Astraea. Why should he sit idle? He could be training! He wiped the sweat from his brow, and then shifted his footing, bringing his blade up into the air.
  54.
  55. The overhead swing would be shifted at the last moment, flicking the pommel into the open space before him with a small smile. He hoped Sylvania didn't mind him joining in. She'd made the offer earlier, so he figured it would be fine.
  56.
  57. Brennen Astraea mentally shrugged at the words Slyvania shared.
  58.
  59. "I am still a Noivce. Though my main style will be the Lion, I picked up the shield. It felt. . knightly. . .So I want to be able to se it as best I can. I plan to pick up a decent buckler someday as well."
  60.
  61. He admited while he trained alongside Lucas. He genuinely enjoyed crossing blades with a fellow Astraean swordsmen. It was a practice he didn't get to revel in very often these days, being so far outclassed by most of the other Astraea near dawn.
  62.
  63. "I don't know any techniques with the shield yet."
  64.
  65. He finally admited as the pair ended their joint training session, taking a seat next to the other male, offering him a bottle of water.*
  66.
  67. Brennen Astraea knocked his water bottle agasint Lucas's own with a bright smile upon his face. However his full focus fell upon Sylvania as she performed the cruasder's technique the shield of God. "Cheers" His voice sounded distant as he focused his whole mind ahead. looking on at the display of shieldmenship he couldn't help but feel excited!
  68.
  69. He jumped back to his feet, bringing his wooden shield to the forefront. He would try to memorize what she'd done. Alas, It wasn't something that would be easy without a sutiable amount of something to defend agasint.
  70.
  71. "Is this the right way to hold the shield? Do I need to change my footing? Is there any need for essence to this technique! Thank you so much for showing me!"
  72.
  73. He called out, once more shifting his body and putting to practice, at least in theroy, the postion and motions behind the bulwark. The young knight has lit up at the prospect of learning more of the shield, and even seems mesmeized at the useage of light Mana to create one!
  74.
  75. Brennen Astraea continued his intention, suddenly grateful for the helpful nature of the nun before him. He was in a startling good mood as he brought his shield arm back up and readied himself for the female's incoming strike. He didn't even pull his sword back from his sheath, as this goal was entirely based around learning how to properly utilize a shield. He would brace his feet, though not yet trained in the usage of solid foot work, he was a strong swordsmen, much stronger then most average untrained wielders of essence and even more so then one without.
  76.
  77. He was ready to withstand the incoming blow. He once more rolled his shoulders to show he was ready. Should everything go as planned his wooden shield would be used, in place of the larger kite or tower shield that would normally be utilized with this technique. He was over eager to learn how to utilize the shield properly. He tried his best to bring his shield up and brace the agasint the incoming blow. -20
  78.
  79. "Like this?"*
  80.
  81. Brennen Astraea nodded his understanding as he stood stock still. He'd greeted Audrey, but only in passing. His focus was almost entirely upon Altiria. The way she moved her blade and how she performed her own parry. It was elegant and refined. He was lacking in such articulate detail in his own movements, but he was still learning, so that was to be expected. She was being kind enough to train him and show him more of the Lion school, so he'd give her as much of his focus as he could.
  82.
  83. His own stance would finally be taken, his sword drawn and his body rigid and ready. His mind suddenly clear and focused on the task at hand as he let himself give his blade a few practice swings. He was building muscles, but subtly, more like a gymnast then a body builder for now. His arms and legs lithe from all the weight training he'd subjected his body too over the long years preparing for Dawn academy.
  84.
  85. Now he envisioned an opponent rushing forward, interrupting his practice with the intent to skewer him. A dancers movement, his foot work and his body fluidly shifting to the right to ensure that his blade would meet his assailants and knock it off path. The parry completed in his virtual minds-cape, the lion within him erupted forth, suddenly surging forward, to bring his blade down violently into the sand of the arena, like a lion's paw descending.
  86.
  87. Brennen Astraea blinked as he watched the blast technique performed up close and personal for the first time. He'd of course seen it once before, the day Teresa and Anna had fought just before he'd blacked out. He'd never had a chance to ask Anna about it, and now the other Astraea had gone abroad, preventing any contact. The male smiled broadly as he commited to memory each motion.
  88.
  89. "Yes, I have to learn as many tricks as I can to keep up with your skill, Lady Teresa, I was soundly beaten during our last spar, and I imagine I will be again and again untill I imporve enough to catch up to you!"
  90.
  91. He called out, as his body began to shift and stretch in preperation of the training that was about to be produced. His sword, clasped in two hands, would be shifted off to the right. He didn't do anything with it yet, he just got the feeling of the shifting right and allowed his body's unique muscle system get adjusted. He wasn't going to rush this he had to make sure it was perfect.
  92.
  93. The next step came in the form of getting his angle's right as he prepared to make his mad dash across the field. He wasn't a mathmaticen not did he have any great understanding of physics or their uses in real world combat. He'd have to spitball it for now. The boy's mind was clear and focused as he made each step delibritly longer then it needed to be. His true passion for learning the arte of the sword shined here, in this act.
  94.
  95. Once the male figureded he had a solid understanding of how the postioning worked and felt with his body he would move onto the next step. This step was more curcial then it had ever been but thankfully he was more accustom to useing essence now, having spent years mastering the beast technique to ensure he would be able to move forward with his training as a Lion.
  96.
  97. His body would become coated in the blue aura endicitve of the Blast technique as he finally put all the steps together. What was produced was a sudden forward rush, that while not nearly as mastered or well polished as Altiria, showcased that male's ability to adjust and cope with the style he'd chosen to persue as an Astraean knight.
  98.
  99. Brennen Astraea blinked once more as he watched the raging beast technique performed for the second time. Having seen before, on the day Teresa and Anna had fought just as before. He was happy to get the chance to learn it here and now. The male set his face into a mask of determenation as he once more commited to memory the steps that would enable him to make use of this technique.
  100.
  101. The first step seemed to be the sword and the connection with it's weilder the Astraea could share with it. It was so natural to the boy he hadn't really paused to consider how strange it might be for others to hear. That he could understand the voice of his sword and how it guided him in battle. How somthing as minor as that could make such a huge diffrence in the way most swordsmen fought and handled their blade. -30
  102.
  103. The essence needed would be willed into existince slowly but surely. He didn't want to make any mistakes, so just as before, he would take each motion slowly untill he was confident in his ability to follow through. This took some grand amount of time, as his blade's voice was meek, almost silent. This was the main issue with blades that we're mass produced and held no name. They we're by nature very soft spoken swords.
  104.
  105. The male would then envison his opponenet for the day to assist him in his training session. Today the person who stood before him was Teresa, and her impressive ability with the living flame that her family coveted. She stood resplendent as half her body glowed in flames. He rushed forward, blade up and coated in the energy of the beast technique. He wasn't going to show fear in the face of these flames, even after his loss to them.
  106.
  107. His blade came down, as if meeting her own, and caused the boy to wince as he imagined her flames flareing up to once more defend her. He'd never forget how the wall of fire felt like it was stopping his blade, preventing him from harming it's creator, not today however. A small shout of effort was produced agasint this imagined foe, then the beast is unleashed, crashing down agasint the defenses.
  108.
  109. This was followed up by the male pulliing his blade back, and then slamming it down with some impressive amount of force back into the earth. This unleashed a second, even larger beast that caused rocks and sand to erupt all around the point of inpact. In his head, he had managed to finally land a true blow, upon the Loewe,
  110.
  111. Brennen Astraea drew his wooden shield from his back and then took a strong legged stance as he readied himself to show off what he'd learned for Alexander loewe. He would place his shield arm at the forefront of his body, clearly to small to do what this technique was meant to do, but what are you going to do? He would then brace himself as though he we're acosted by a wall of water, sent forth by Ban with a good tempered smile.
  112.
  113. Brennen Astraea watched as his cousin entered into the formal lion stance, before advanceing forward. Brennen would shift his body, from his resting at ease postion, back a half step bringing a beautiful silver hand and a half sword up to knock the downward strike off balance. This was the first point of the incoming lessons. He was happy he'd managed to actually parry the other male, would have been kinda foolish of him to have failed in that right?
  114.
  115. The next step came from the result of the sucsessful parry into the air. The silver blade would surge downward now, in sudden strike, akin to a lion erupting from the brush to catch it's prey unaware. The blow blended seemlessly with the parry, and thus the lesson would be explained. The target of this strike, was the other male's chest, though with the flat of the blade, to prevent serious injury. Regardless of hit avoidance, or re-parry he'd speak. -37
  116.
  117. "This is Raging Thunder, As you just experinced, it's a unique technique that works in tandem with the parry of an oppnenet from the air. With enough skill you'll be able to link this from other techniques thay assist your parry, to amazing effect."
  118.
  119. Brennen Astraea nodded and took up his Lion stance, holding his newly aquired silver hand and a half sword in his hands. He held a look of concentraion upon his face as he readied to do as he was instructed. His body language showed him to be one hundred percent focused on his forward motion. He wanted nothing more then to be prepared for his advance into Dawn for the coming sunrise.
  120.
  121. His blade would begin to take talk to him like they usually tended to do when held by an one of his family line, the Astraea. This sword's voice wasn't as loud as one who might hold it's own name. The voice rang into his mind, allowing it to guide his goal in this endevour. This blade had never been held by a lion praticoner before, other then perhaps Xander, but never utilized for such a purpose.
  122.
  123. The male's essence surged forward and began to coat his weapon all at once, like a cloth had been pulled away. The blade would begin to shine with a bright sheen of blue essence. Then the male would begin to move around getting used to how this feels without calling upon the beast in this moment.
  124.
  125. He would then begin forceing the gathered energy even higher still, calling upon his brithright and training in the Lion. His mind focused and sharp as he readied himself for this next technique. He felt his focus wane slightly as he heard Altiria speak of needing to find someone who would be capable of killing her to grow. It was something he felt might be in his near future.
  126.
  127. He threw these thoughts aside, and redoubled his focus on the training at hand. He had to learn to crawl before he could walk, he had to learn to walk before he could jog, he had to learn to job before he could run. These steps didn't come naturally to him, he had to work at each and every step. He didn't have any family as Kemoito did, to offer him a leg up. He didn't have inherited arms or armor like some of his other cousins. He only had his own will. He would attempt, all at once, to unleash the gathered beast like energy, as Alexander had described, to replicate the Devour technique. - 42
  128.
  129. Brennen Astraea blinked at the bubble of water, blushing from the implication that he'd been bothering others. He shrugged away the embarrassment as he heard the words given by Hellmuth! He didn't even hesitate. He made sure to secure his blade and rifle so they would not fall, before flipping in place, showing off his gymnastics skills, before landing upon his hands. -
  130.
  131. He would begin to press his body up and down with a sense of urgency. His desire was a clear and simple one to the other blonde male. He would try to catch up to him. The pair would be able to train together. and in doing so, grow as a pair! He may only be entering dawn now, and Hellmuth may have just graduated from Trinity, but he would relay on this other male in the future. -44
  132.
  133. "Let us progress together! We will be hero's together! Let us grow and save the lives of all we can! My BROTHER IN ARMS!"
  134.
  135. He declared as loudly as he was able, through the bubble that now encompassed his head, should it still remain!
  136.
  137. Brennen Astraea contniued to pump his arms now as he continued with this strange, yet oddly exhlierating method of training. Though this might just be the blood rushing to his head. He continued to pump his arms up and down, causeing his body to raise and fall in time with an internlized rhytem.
  138.
  139. He would look between Alexander and Hellmuth in an almost shocked expression as he continued his workout. He wasn't sure if calling someone who was as renowned as a patriarch "Old man" Was looked upon favorably. He'd have shrugged if he could, but alas, his training prevented it. He would begin to shift a few paces at a time now, alternateing his pumping with open movement. -46
  140.
  141. Brennen Astraea couldn't help but feel enthused by the way that Hellmuth spoke and the the passion his voice held. He grinned even wider and continued his body's forward push. He shifted to the right and left as he continued his training. The fire Hellmuth had lit burning strong for the time being. He would even take it a few steps further, had Teresa told him not to show off his new danceing to other Arcadians.
  142.
  143. He'd look over at Hellmuth and then spoke once more, even as his body continued to rise and fall to his own internal rythem. His body feeling the burn in his lungs, chest, and arms. His blood still rushing through his body, pooling slightly in his head. He had to admit, it was starting to make him a little light headed. - 48
  144.
  145. "I'll make sure to hold you too that! I have so much room to grow! I'll rely on you in the future. I'll trust you to help shape me into a hero that people will be able to rely on in turn!"
