|| background: Minju's Korean father, a wealthy businessman, moved to Japan for work, where he met her Japanese mother. Minju and her twin brother were born in Japan and lived there for a couple years, until her father's business needed him in Korea. They still spoke Japanese with their mother, though. When she was young, her parents made her take piano lessons, which she hated. She quit, after a year. When Minju was 10 years old, her mother was hit by a car. It had seemed like she would recover, but the doctors didn't realize that she had bleeding in the brain and she died. That was really hard for Minju. Her father grew distant to her and her brother. One day she went to a modern dance class because she needed to do an extracurricular. She fell in love with dance and never looked back. She put her emotions into her dancing and expressed herself. She was fully committed to it, as she didn't have a great life at home, so she practiced every day. Through high school she continued to dance different genres. Her dance teacher suggested that she apply for Sugar Plum. She didn't think she would get in, but applied anyway. So here we are now. :)

|| personality: Since she was little, Minju was shy. She tries to be more outgoing but she's quite introverted. Because of her experience of her mother's death, she is slow to open up to people. She only has a handful of close friends, to whom she is very loyal to. Minju is open to making more friends but her shyness keeps her from talking to new people. She is focused on her dancing and is always trying to get better. She is self-conscious and doesn't think that she's that good at dancing. She also holds grudges against people, so if you are rude to her, she will remember. She is really nice to people without thinking about it. People think of her as sweet and quiet, but she's kind of sick of people remembering like that. She is a lot louder and carefree when she's with her friends.

|| why does your character want to be an idol?
Minju loves dance. Although this sounds cheesy, it completely changed her life and gave her a new purpose. She wants to spread the happiness that dancing and making music gives her to people around the world.

|| how they act on stage:
Onstage Minju acts confident. She practices a lot so she knows her choreography really well. She gets nervous before a performance but gains confidence when she begins.
|| how they act off stage but on camera:
Minju is quiet off stage but on camara, wary of being filmed. She will laugh and have fun but won't be loud or crazy.
|| how they act off stage and off camera:
Off stage and off camera, Minju is a lot more relaxed. She talks a lot more and isn't as nervous. She is more upbeat and does random things without thinking about it.

|| how would your character react to someone being eliminated? what if she hated that person? what if she was close to that person?
Minju holds grudges. So if someone she hates got eliminated, she would m tell them bye, but inside she wouldn't be sad. If someone she was close to got eliminated, she would hug them, exchange numbers, etc. She would be really disappointed and would text that person right after.

|| how would your character react if she was eliminated?
If she was eliminated, Minju would be upset. She would control her emotions enough not to cry, but you could see the disappoint on her face. She would thank everyone for the experience and leave without causing a scene. She would return home, but become determined to keep working at her goal of becoming an idol.

If she were to make it to the top seven, Minju wouldn't scream, but she would be smiling a lot. She would be very excited and start hugging people. She would thank the judges multiple times.

|| how does your character act when meeting new people?
When meeting new people, Minju is quiet. However, she still tries to be friendly and nice to them. If she thinks they seem nice, she will try to open up to them more.
