  1. stepped away from the tree that began to sublimate smoke as it hit the water, he knew that if he kept on spamming the jutsu without a moment's rest he would find himself deprived of his chakra resources, a small break would be taken as he sat down and watched the tree in the pond. Several minutes passed before he stood back up on his feet , this time he wouldn't burn any solid structures but instead figure out how durable his fire was against water, rain to be specific.
  2.
  3. The boy turned to his side and faced the pond infront of him , he'd yet again form the half-seal for tiger and begin to mold chakra in his stomach , he probably had another two or three tries in him before dropping to the ground, but there was still time until that happened. He brewed up the same amount of chakra he used to take down that tree, after all he had to have some sort of norm to keep up to, his chakra control was rather steady at this point in his shinobi career and that placed him slightly above an average genin.
  4.
  5. The fire-based chakra in his gut moved upwards into his torso and finally concentrated itself into his dominant arm which held the hilt of his blade. The usual red colour would appear at the tip of the katana as sparks yet again flew about, a signal to anyone who was probably first seeing the technique would notice that this indeed was a katon jutsu. After mere seconds the sparks evolved into a burst of flame that surrounded the usual sections of his katana, it looked exactly the same as he just mustered up against that tree next to him.
  6.
  7. This time the boy swung his sword in a different way, he'd extend his hand forward and raise it up in the air before finally slashing the air in a vertical line, the flames would be sent flying in a concentrated fashion , the height and width were the same as a horizontal slash but were rather focused to obliterate an enemy if Soryen was sure that the land would hit, it had a shorter hit range but was far deadlier and could incinerate a taller target.
  8.
  9. The blazing fire wasn't exstinguished by the pour of rain , steam did evaporate as it traveled into the distance though and its firepower was slightly lowered.
  10. Soryen had figured out by now that this jutsu had lots of variations and if utlizied with the right one could lead to deadly results. The fire soon dispersed into thin air, not touching the water in the pond at all.
