Dirty-golden hues disappear from sight as the blonde focuses his chakra within the palm. Hairs upon his arm can be flowing from the vast amount of energy being finely tuned from his pores. All of it flows into the girl's legs and spreads throughout the broken limb. Nothing's felt despite the glorious and flashy display of medical expertise. Beneath the cast can be see a faintly glowing green light that covers the enter injured area. Even as the Koru removes his hands, the light can still be shown. A breath exhaled before he walks off, letting the technique do as it's supposed to.

"I don't know what to call it, honestly. A falling out? A thirst for power and authority? Whatever it is, I can't get with it. Kicking the shit outta' Leafies is fine - we all love to do that. But not like this. Our village is in shambles, but instead of collecting ourselves and repairing what's been destroyed -namely everything from our ranks to our trust in one another - Ketsui starts this 'Shinobi Fishing' crusade."

He takes a few steps back, and prepares to pivot towards the gate. A few more words are offered before he goes.

"You're his right hand and his best friend - but you also need to be the voice in his head that tells him when to slow down and compose himself. This is a fast track to his own ruin. I'm going back to Kirigakure to fix what I can - if any of our squad members would like to join me, you can."*)

In truth, the Onishi had been on the fence for awhile now -- something hadn't been right, but she could never put her finger on it. Ryuji, however, voiced exactly what she was thinking. Their village felt like it was in shambles and nothing felt like it was going the right way. Her nose wrinkles.
Sure, she loved beating down Konohagakure -- but their village needed help. It didn't feel like this was the way to accomplish things.

The village seemed so divided in what to do. Higher-ups were trying to push an attack against Konoha, but urged if the shinobi wanted to leave that they were free to; others wished to be conservative and rebuild.

A sharp exhales leaves Takano's non-lips as he shakes his head. The ghoul wanted to fight for "Kiri's" cause, but with the numbers dwindling as they were and these circumstances..?

It said they'd rather run home and fix their problems as the village ridicules everything Kirigakure once stood for keeps their hostages... Keeps their blades... And all that based off hopefully someone in Konoha's custody having it handled? This wasn't a charity... The girl they have wasn't simply being handed over until something that satisfies was given in exchange.

He strokes at his chin for a moment.

They stood within a village that was only rebuilt because of those willing to not sit behind destroyed and tattered buildings and do what was needed. There was no excuse. They were running.

He sighs, taking a step to turn and look over at Akeno.

"Ise. Victoria. You gotta understand that YOU aren't the village. You are one strong cog inside of a machine that isn't working. How the hell do you expect to maintain relations with Suna if we can't even get our own shit together?" He scoffs.

".. Stop it. We're going to speak with the Mizukage and we can meet you after if things line up."
