[6:07 PM] Eon: We spent much time ruminating about how we would go about slaying the so-called aboleth, and after Tot scouted the lake, we were.. hesitant to do so.

However, with Alicia's Arcane Eye, we managed to scout out the lake in much greater detail, and reassured ourselves our plan was sound.

The plan? To Dimension Door the Spelljammer to the lake and fight with it.

It turns out that the Aboleth was being transformed into an avatar of Cthulu against its will, and that the real adversary was Cthylla, Cthulu's daughter, albeit in a sleepy state. We banished her, eventually, but we sustained significant damage to our vessel.

And so we stand, in our crumbling tower, delibrating..

[6:20 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: ... There's no statue remaining, from a quick glance of the lake's surface. Cthullya's statue seems to have largely disappeared from the locale.

[6:29 PM] Mizuki: "I'm pretty damn tired to tell you the truth, Raz." - She said flying down. - "Wouldn't oppose a bit of resting now."

[6:30 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: As you delve deeper into the lake, where the statue once stood, you found a strange alcove. The alcove is somehow dry, and bones of humanoid littered the area. It might have been notable humanoid sacrifices made to Cthylla in the past, or perhaps the aboleth's prisoners. The area isn't very organized, but it's also small enough that you can quickly explore it. The walls have a few sets of manacles, most rusty and non-functtional, with two sets being the exceptions.

As for the other treasures, you found
1. a shiny arrowhead radiating with power and strange emotion, its shaft long rotted away. The arrowhead is decorated with small etching of runes and symbols of power.
2. a morningstar, light and simple in design, almost plain.
3. a strange segment of bone left behind by some former hero. It's almost transparent in its pearl-whiteness, and smooth to the touch.
4. a ring decorated with symbols of stars, shining in the dark.

[6:31 PM] Faerie: He gives Alicia an appreciative nod, recalling all the blows the Sword had taken. ''What you did there must've been tiring, I won't argue with that. Do you want to head back to the surface? We can plot there in the meantime.''
[6:31 PM] Eon: Esker's eyes immediately gravitate to the ring, abstract wonder and dread filling her.
[6:32 PM] Eon: ... But only for moment.
[6:32 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: As you affix your eyes upon the ring, your robe seems to hum in synchronization.
[6:32 PM] Eon: These should all be worth looking into, at any rate.

[6:33 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: There are countless other weapons, armors, all of them damaged by water, broken, or otherwise useless.

[6:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: They could be, given time.
[6:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: the simplier weapons can be mended, forming somewhat less than useful version of themselves. You might be able to mend a broken dagger, for example, into a rusty one.

[6:35 PM] Eon: Well. If only they weren't pressed for it. Regardless, she'll instruct Nul to start  carrying them back to the ship while she searches around.
[6:35 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The morningstar does not seem to have any significant marking; it's a seemingly plain weapon.
[6:35 PM] Mizuki: Alicia took out her bag of holding and stuffed the arrowhead and bone inside it, avoiding to directly touch them. - "Lets take a look at those next time we get some rest."
[6:35 PM] Faerie: Patching the weapons up wouldn't have crossed Razmik's mind - they weren't short on selection to begin with.
[6:36 PM] Eon: "Indeed." Esker shakes her head. No need to get enamored with every starry object she found.

This +2 morningstar acts as a Stone of Controlling Earth Elementals, and has 3 charges. It may activate the conjure elemental spell with a charge, or to spend a charge in order to deal additional 2d8 bludgeoning damage whenever the wielder strikes a creature with Meteor. The charges recharge at dawn.


Crystalline Fingerbone
Require Attunement.

While attuned to the Crystalline Fingerbone, whenever you deal necrotic damage, treat all 1's and 2's on the damage dice rolls as 3's. You may use an Action to activate the fingerbone, pointing at a foe and speaking the command word, to cast Finger of Death.


Favored Arrowhead of Aberration Slaying

As Arrow of Slaying targetting Aberration. In addition, the arrow that fires the Favored Arrowhead returns to the shooter's quiver or hand (their choice) at the end of their turn, Reaction, or Legendary Action, and isn't spent.
