Why would we tell you that Rick and Morty™ s03e02 comes out on 7/1/17, you ask?

Well, first we told you that new episodes were "coming this summer"
So obviously everyone's first suspicion would be a June 21st release date...
So obviously we couldn't do that.

But then, our fans know how crazy we are.
How notoriously weird our marketing is.
They know it couldn't be so simple.
They know that by mentioning summer, we're getting fans' hopes up for June 21st
Just to smash their hopes when the day comes
so that we can surprise everyone with the release the following weekend... June 24th.
So obviously we couldn't do that either.

So we randomly picked a release date: 7/1/17.

We could say the summer release date ruse was nothing but a bamboozle!

To spread confusion and unrest
