I dont do collars

Alexithymiaa: -Noah laid in bed feeling really shitty, his body pretty badly bruised, including a couple of bruised ribs and an entirely black and blue face. Some of the swelling had gone down he was able to open his eyes now, but he was still pretty cut up and looking like hell. He had a mostly melted bag of ice resting over his whole face as he just laid in bed, motionless.-
CovetCovet : Tae felt like shit. Equally as sore, though her bruises were concentrated on her torso and neck. She'd spent most of her early Wednesday morning in the ER getting checked over with Noah, after being encouraged by the police after taking down the report. She'd contacted her brother and told him everything. It'd been a stressful couple of days and there was an order of protection going into place as well as charges being filed. Leaving all of that in the hands of Eli, she was now feeling guilty about Noah getting the shit beat out of him too. She made her way into the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack out of the freezer for him, bring it back to his room, as a peace offering. It was hard for her to breathe, feeling sharp pains in her sides if she moved too suddenly or took too deep of a breath. Knocking on the door she looked him over, while stepping around the trash that was about. "Hey... I brought you some new ice...Do you need anything else?" She asked in a slightly hoarse voice.
Alexithymiaa: -He moved his hand to his face to hold the prexisting water ice that was there before he turned his head to look over in her direction, prying one eye open to actually see her. "Oh... thanks." He said, dropping the dead ice pack onto the floor next to the bed because his range of motion was so limited. "You can turn the tv on if you can find the remote."-
Covet: "Yeah, sure... Any idea where you last left it at?" She asked him, only feeling even guiltier after seeing him. "Do you need pain meds or anything? Food? Drink?"
Alexithymiaa: "It fell off the bed at some point." He mumbled, taking the ice pack and leaning it over his face. "I need you to stop asking so many damn questions."-
Covet: "Sorry..." She said then started to look for the remote, wincing as she bent over to pull the blanket up to check underneath it, finding it tumbling out of the blankets. Holding her side she leaned back up and turned on the TV. She was going to ask him what he wanted put on, but he said no more questions so she just set the remote down next to him, then bit the inside of her cheek, before offering to take the watered down bag, and went to dump out the water in his bathroom sink.
Alexithymiaa: "Thanks." He said in a gravelly tone, closing his eyes again and trying to limit his motion. "What're you doing?"-
Covet: "Just trying to help you out." She told him coming back to look at him, her arms wrapped around her sides for both comfort and because of the pain.
Alexithymiaa: "Well... just sit down. Last I checked, you were in the ER too. Just becaause my face looks worse doesn't mean you're not in bad shape too."-
Covet: "I know, but You shouldn't have had any of this happen to you. So I kind of feel responsible. Besides, it's not like this is my first time." She said with a shrug, then sat on the edge of his bed, trying not to show how painful that was.
Alexithymiaa: "You shouldn't have had any of this happen to you either. And just because it's not the first time it's happened, doesnt make it hurt or suck any less. So shut up." She slowly leaned up, holding the ice pack to his face aand half peering at her. "Are you just going to sit and be sorry for yourself about it?"-
Covet: "I'm not even feeling sorry for myself, I'm feeling sorry for you. Because this is my fault. I've accepted that much. I could have made this stop, I just....didn't." Tae said getting softer, then started to feel her eyes sting. "I'm sorry, Noah. I shouldn't have gotten you involved."
Alexithymiaa: "Don't feel sorry for me. I'm the one who walked in and picked a fight with him. Unfortunately for me, he's just apparently like Wreck It Ralph." He leaned back on the propped up pillows behind him so he could not have to hold himself up. "Shut up."-
Covet: "Sorry..." She said putting her head down, doing her best to stiffle back her tears and took a deep breath, gasping sharply when her torso started to throb. "Ralph was at least a redeemable character. I don't think there's anything redeemable about Drew."
Alexithymiaa: "It was more of a shallow assessment of the character than anything else, but sure if you want to go that route. Good to know you're into Disney movies." He started to laugh, and that was obviously a mistake. Wincing, he lowered the ice from his face and set it down next to him. "Take it easy."-
Covet: "I am. He's more like the demon from the second Fantasia that gets all pissed and destroys the whole damn forrest." Tae said taking shallower breaths. "Don't laugh, then I'll laugh and that's even worse."
Alexithymiaa: "Sorry I'm so funny then. This could really be a problem for both of us until we feel better." He smiled gently and then lifted the ice back to his face. "But really, are there six more of him somewhere?"-
Covet: "Yeah, it could, though I think we could spend some time recovering with some Disney movies." She said with a smile. "God I hope not. Nobody deserves that.
Alexithymiaa: "Ehhhhhhh..... I'm okay on the Disney movies. Except like... The Lion King because that was legendary." He let out a slow breath, wincing at the pain in his ribs. "Good cause you would make a shitty Ramona Flowers."-
Covet: Tae shook her head, "No laughing" She said with a whine. "Fine, I didn't want to just lay in bed with you, whimpering in pain watching childhood movies." She said with a shrug that she regretted.
Alexithymiaa: "You said Disney, not childhood. Those are two very different things." He corrected her, adjusting the ice on his face. "Besides whats the point of laying in bed together if we hurt too much to do anything?"-
Covet: "Not if Disney was your childhood." Tae argued. "Um.. mutual companionship?" she asked him. "Friends do other things besides fuck you know that right?"
Alexithymiaa: "Ehh...." He said, considering it for comedic purposes more than anything else. "And disney wasnt my childhood. My childhood movies were like... The Sandlot and Miracle and The Mighty Ducks and Space Jam."-
Covet: "Space jam I can get behind, the others, Eh. they're alright I guess." She told him, cause she enjoyed the shit out of cartoons.
Alexithymiaa: "Alright? They're classics. No one dislikes any of those movies." He was a little offended because childhood favorites.-
Covet: "Sports movies were never really my thing. I like animated stuff." She said explaining.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "I like anime." He said like that was at all what they were talking about.-
Covet: "Anime is cool we could definitely do that." She told him with a smile.
Alexithymiaa: "You like anime?" He asked, raising his brows, but not actually because his face was a little numb by now.-
Covet: "Yes, I mean.. I'm pretty much a walking stereotype, for anything Japanese." Tae said, because this guy had been in her room and hadn't guessed that yet.
Alexithymiaa: "Wow... way to break the mold." He said sarcastically, leaning back again.-
Covet: Tae smiled, "I'm original in other ways, I think."
Alexithymiaa: "In what ways? Because apparently all I've seen is you being a stereotype so now I'm curious."-
Covet: "Most everyday Japanese girls don't know how to wield a power drill, or know how to use a heat gun, or which PVA glue you use for L200 foam." She said looking at him, then gave another pained shrug.
Alexithymiaa: "That was another language." He said in monotone. "That reminds me I still need to figure out what Im doing for Halloween."-
Covet: Tae tried not to laugh, but made sounds of broken pain filled groans that sounded slightly happy. "Ouch.. Why?" She shifted and took a few shallow breaths, " I'm going to be Velma I think, I found some cute items to put the outfit together. You could dress up as scooby." She said with a smirk.
Alexithymiaa: "Your fault for laughing." He said with a grin, trying not to laugh himself. "You want me to be a dog for Halloween, really?" He asked, mock offended.-
Covet: "What's wrong with that? You'd make a cute dog. And you could go shirtless." She said with a shrug.
Alexithymiaa: "I'd have to wear a collar." He said, the idea the actual unamusing part for him because FUCK being collared.-
Covet: "It could be a big cartoonish thing." Tae said shaking her head. "But if it's that big of an issue, then go as Shaggy, since you don't have blonde hair."
Alexithymiaa: -He thought for a moment, giving a small shift with his shoulder because that was about all he could muster through the pain right now. "I could be Shaggy... but he's not a badass."-
Covet: "I'm just trying to help here." Tae said too tired to argue. "You can be whoever you want."
Alexithymiaa: "I am who I want. I did like the idea of being a Halo Spartan though..." He trailed off, knowing there was no way she could pull that off before Halloween. It was just too much work.-
Covet: "Well think about it for next year." Tae said to him, then gave a yawn that ended in a whimper.
Alexithymiaa: "So if you start now, I can do that next year?" He asked with a smile. "Because if you promise to have it done, I'll be Shaggy for Halloween. I probably already have the pants."-
Covet: "I could have it done before Easter if I start now. And it would be all sorts of decked out." She told him. "You're still going to have to figure out a way to help fund the materials though. Cause I don't have that kind of stuff just laying around."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not worried about the funds. I'll buy everything if you can just... fabricate." He sank down into his pillows again, breathing deeply against his chest's cries.-
Covet: "Then, yeah I can do that for you." Tae said. " I should go take my pain killers then go lay down. I've already called in for the rest of the weekend, and am getting my course work online from my professors.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah I didnt do thaat. I just didn't go yesterday or today." He said so matter of factly like it waas no big deal. "I'm definitely going to pass out though."-
Covet: "Okay, I'll leave you be for now. I'll come check on you in the morning." She said getting up with another wince. "Goodnight Noah." Tae said then made her way down to her room to take the good pills and pass out.
