Letting out a roar, the Avatar charged, trailing fire and blood as it swung the Suin Daellae at Jain Zar’s head. Still as a statue she let the lethal blade slice a hair’s breadth from her face. The Avatar stopped, with a screech from the floor as its metal feet skidded across the bare stone. It towered over the Phoenix Lord, bending to thrust its face towards her, sparks falling from its eyes such was its rage at her defiance.
