- [16:00:38] Thom M. Takashi: Liara. We need to talk.
- [16:04:54] He would smile watching the two of them on the ground as they had fun. Honestly, he didn't have much to say at the moment. He noticed the two were just having fun. He would glance to Thom for a moment, seeing as those two might need to talk. Perhaps it was best to stick out of that too..
- Though, he would slowly slide to the ground, still leaning against the building. He would until he was sitting, his back against the building. What would he do for now? Simple, just watch with a smile on his face.
- (Zain)
- [16:06:36] Luna decided to visit Cinderfall. The battle between the Golden Voluminous and Nostvale was happening and wasn't happening. She had a vision of the battle some months ago; though it was a possible future. It was still grim; Arcelious and her Father both dying in the conflict.
- Yet the Laws of Time wouldn't allow her to interfere or intervene. She would have to let them go to their deaths, just as she had to let alot of people go to their deaths. While she could no longer peer into the past, she was still able to see the possible future.
- She had met Maria; though after meeting her Maria left to talk to the King of Nostvale. Prior to that, she had a vision of the possible future; which Maria was executed by Nostvale after the war with Dumuzid was over. Maria died. Luna felt responsible, she could have told Sirus to go after his wife, but no and Maria died and met her destiny. She would have to let Arcelious and her Father go to their deaths.
- In some months time, it would be time to do her expedition. She had used actual research to find a entrance to the lost underground city; notes and a rough
- drawn map which had been hidden a long time ago; during the Republic Era.
- She would have to dig her way through, so she would most likely use her Nature Magic.
- She was sixteen now; an Adult. She was thinking of adopting Dzavesh as her Son. She was already taking care of her siblings, so why not a kid? She hoped she would run into Musaka. She was of legal age now, so their relationship was less illegal now.
- (Luna Imeri Rockbell)
- [16:09:10] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*pokes Alvis*>
- [16:09:10] Alvis Artorius: <*Was surprise of the poke and just looks at the boy.*> Something the matter?
- [16:10:01] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*uses sound magic to copy Alvis' voice exactly*> Something the matter?
- [16:10:52] Alvis Artorius: <*Raised his eyebrow.*> Now how exactly did you do that?
- [16:11:44] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Now how exactly did you do that?
- [16:12:35] Decided he should probably get up from Leila, he had only just recalled he was getting a bit bigger so he wasn't as easily caught during his tackle hugs. Standing himself up and dusting off, he'd offer the Ookami a hand even though she was still larger than he was.
- If she took the hand or not, Raja heard her words. "Sorry about that, also, if you ain't feeling up to it, I guess I could go an practice on my own a bit later. Could probably find Pyra and play aroun' with her and whoever else is around. Mainly want someone to play with that seem fun!~" Slowly but surely, the boy was losing his accent from being a country bumpkin and being around his mother so much while growing.
- (Raja Nagano-Draconis)
- [16:12:35] Alvis Artorius: <*sighed*> I see, You must be a troublemaker.
- [16:12:35] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*snickers*>
- [16:13:26] Liara Myr: Hey Thom, what's up?
- [16:14:17] Musaka would walk into Cinderfall. He was badly beaten down. Though not any serious wounds were upon him. His sword messed up seeming to been in quite a battle. Though he would head towards the trees. He needed to lay down for a while. His breathingwas hard as fighting yokai to get through the cave while you were in a heavy battle.
- The Sarradian would know his magic would not heal him since he used most of it.
- As he would look across he would see Luna. He had not seen her for quite a while. With the war happening he had not been able to visit her. Though now he had a knew turn. With leaving the Golden Voluminous he wrapped up ties to the guild and now was going to follow the path will Luna.
- "H-h-hey Luna." A smile on his beaten body.
- (Musaka)
- [16:14:17] Thom M. Takashi: We need to have a very important talk. Would you prefer it out here or in the keep?
- [16:16:00] Liara Myr: Well, does it need to be private?
- [16:16:51] Thom M. Takashi: Doesn't need to be. Out here fine then?
- [16:18:33] Luna heard Musaka's voice and turned and saw him. Her eyes widened in surprise. There were alot of superficial wounds from what she saw of him; perhaps moderate as well.
- "Let me heal you" Luna said. With that she would take Musaka to the Apothacary. Even if Ludi was around, Luna would still heal her future Husband, first.
- (Luna Imeri Rockbell)
- [16:18:33] Liara Myr: Yes.
- [16:18:33] Liara Myr: What's up Thom?
- [16:18:33] Thom M. Takashi: Ok!
- [16:18:33]
- "You're fine Raja. I'm sure there are others that are best suited to teach you. Like.. Quazla in Sunflower Village.. Hm..that's everyone that I know that I believe have mostly mastered the magic.." She decided to stay lying on the ground, paying no mind to the dirt on her clothing as she scooted beside Zain until their shoulders touched.
- "Though.. it is up to you, if you would prefer me to teach you or play with you. I like the idea of both, having fun while teaching! having fun is just as important as learning!" she nods as she smiles.
- (Leila Rainfold)
- [16:19:24] Luna Imeri Rockbell: *Luna had mastered Nature by age 10*
- [16:19:24] Whilst imitating Alvis Dj would giggle mischeviously. He sense and desire to cause trouble having been accelerated since aging. He is now nine years of age. A little long time from his introduction into cinderfal at the age of five. the boy has since grown physically and changed a bit magically and in general personality as well. For now he would be bothering Alvis for his own entertainment.
- "Am I a troublemaker?" He would say. But while he spoke he miscalculated proper mana diversion to fuel his sound magic. From this, Alvis can notice his voice returning to its usua high pitched and childish sound; away from sounding like Alvis himself. Shocked, the boy scratches the back of his head nervously.
- (Dzavesh J. Balamani)
- [16:19:24] Leila Rainfold: *Leila just met Luna and doesn't know that*
- [16:21:07] Raja Nagano-Draconis: Well....maybe later then? Wanna run aroun' an see if ah can find some more kids my age to play with first. Don't take it the wrong way....but...
- [16:21:58] Raja Nagano-Draconis whispers: You're older than me!
- [16:21:58] Musaka whispers something.
- [16:22:49] Alvis couldn't help but chuckle. A troublemaker, using his magic to prank others and juts all around obtain himself attention. It reminded him of himself when he was younger, Being the only one in his family who really embraced magic. He'd reach out rubbing the head of the kid. "You seem to have decent control over it. Keep working at it and you'll be able to immitate people without an issue." Normally people would probably try to correct the kid for what he did, But Alvis was different it seemed. He simply smiled warmly towards the child.
- "So, Do I get the name of my immitator?" No hostile intent or anger could be found from Alvis. After all, He had already decided that he wanted to eventually be a parent.
- (Alvis Artorius)
- [16:23:40] "Ok!"
- With the singular word said, the red haired man would take several steps back, before turning to look at Liara. The glaive that he wore on his back would be removed and very quickly it would be stuck into the ground. Red hellstorm ran up and down the weapon and the golden hues of Thom would stare at Liara. The joking happy attitude indicated by the singular word was all but gone now.
- "I challenge you to a duel for Fire Keeper."
- A few moments would be taken, letting the words set in before Thom once more looked serious, perhaps saddened but also.. Angry?
- "I have been ignored. You, Maria, and Sirus went and met with Bast, went and met with Ryan. You didn't bring me which means I am less. This.. Isn't the first time I've been ignored either. But simply put I am sick of it.
- I challenge you to a duel. Because if I am Firekeeper, I will not be ignored. You have thusly two choices. Accept my request and fight, or turn it down and I will leave Cinderfall. These are my terms."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [16:25:23] Leila Rainfold: <*softly chuckles and ruffles his hair again*> That is okay. go on and go play ya silly.
- [16:27:56] Leila Rainfold: <*ears perk at Thom's request towards Liara*>
- [16:30:30] As Leila would then scoot back until she and Zain were at shoulders. As she did, he would smile down on her, as he would place his arm around her back, gripping his hand just below her shoulder. He would seem relaxed as he spoke.
- "Oh, come on, Leila! You'd be a great teacher! I know you-" He would then stop, as he would look up towards Thom, and Liara. He would stop, as his attention would soon go to them. He wasn't sure what was going on, but it didn't look all that good.
- (Zain)
- [16:31:21] Dj smiled a little and responded to Alvis. He looked extra cheerful but only because he really enjoys when people pet him or play with his hair. But nobody would know that of course. "I am Dj!" he chirps. Not really sharing his full name due to people mispronouncing it or butchering it. Poising himself happily the young audiomancer bounced in place mischeviously plotting his next course of shennanigans.
- Quickly Dzavesh focused. Pulling off goggles the lad look into the air, seeing what others not attuned to meta magics cannot. While its not absolute sight its an vision or imagination based on understanding. Soundwaves and sometimes time, either seconds before or seconds ahead in possibility. With this Dzavesh would speed himself up, becoming much quicker to the eyes. While accelerated the troublemaker of a kid delivers as many friendly and chaotic pokes to Alvis' abdomen as possible. the speed and spell of course only lasting a total of three seconds.
- Chronomancy was especially difficult to cast for DJ
- (Dzavesh J. Balamani)
- [16:39:02] Sirus had been behind the nearby tree listening in to the conversations and doings of Cinderfall's populace. However, one thing caught his attention and that was Thom's challenging of Liara for the position of Firekeeper. Alright, this was something for Sirus to try and fix considering the situation went south real fast.
- "No. This is -not- happening. There is not going to be a fight at all." Sirus glared at Thom and Liara a rather annoyed glare. "A change of leadership of this regard would shake up Cinderfall evenmore so than it already is. On top of that Thom, we -COULDN'T- bring anyone else to the meeting or else it would've been the Clio meet up all over again. Large numbers for a 'diplomatic meet' would bring shify attitude. It's not that we didn't want to. It was that we actually couldn't."
- He placed his hand on his hip as he stared Thom down. "You're being brash with your ultimatum, Thom. We shouldn't have to fight at all if the situation can be resolved peacefully. Now then, both of you tell me what the hell is going on and what spurred this to happen."
- His eyes glowed orange for a brief moment. "Now."
- (Sirus Blackmane)
- [16:39:53] Alvis nodded towards the name being given. Dj, Such a simple name, Of course it could stand for many other names. But that was something Alvis was not willing to look into at the moment. He couldn't help but laugh at the boys how would you put it, Hyperness? It was refreashing and something Alvis needed in his life once in a while. It was hard with everything being said and done lately. Not to mention that constant reminder hes alone when ever people talk about marriage.
- He watched Dzavesh begin to make a movement. He was not surprised by the speed of the child. After all, One of the first people that ever spoke to him introduced themselves as a 'time wizard' nothing more could get bizzare for him. Though what he did not expect was the constant poking. Now Alvis could have made it so the boy would get shocked but he really didn't care to let people know what he could do so he just simply allowed the boy to poke him. It got annoying, but he had siblings this was nothing new for him. Though he did flinch just to give the boy a reaction.
- Waiting for the spell to wear off Alvis looked towards Dj once again with nothing but a smile. "Wow, It's surprising how fast you can move." The young man seemed tired but at the same time interested in the boys ability for magic.
- (Alvis Artorius)
- [16:45:00] A deep breath came and as she spoke to Sirus at first, and then looked to Thom, with a bit of disappointment. "Apparently Thom feels ignored. . . I wish he'd come and talk to me rather than give me this ultimatum. But Thom, what you are acting like is a tyrant, you are being selfish and envious. No one deserves to be ignored, I'll relent on that, but to demand a seat of power when you already are a chief in Cinderfalls council?" It was disappointment on her tone, as she spoke to Thom, maybe the council was a bad idea, especially including those who bare tainted elements.
- She loosed a sigh, Liara's dejection was quite palpable. "You make me regret my choice in you so heavily. Simply put, I didn't even know about the meeting until Maria and Sirus dragged me along to it, so I had no time to tell you personally. Let alone to the agreed terms that it would only be us three." The woman remained firmly in place.
- As she stood there, she didn't flinch int he slightest. "Explain yourself however, because I have and had no intent to ignore you Thom, I didn't even know you felt ignored in the first place, I just figured you didn't come to talk to me any more because you had more important things to deal with than little old me." unavailability didn't help Liara to see him on the sparce occasions they were mutually available, when Quazla kept oft occupying what free time she had with meetings.
- "I've honestly only had the hours of my sleep remain open the last few months, and sadly no matter what I could have done, I fear that wouldn't have changed. " Being specifically clear, he wasn't being ignored, infact, he was being given freedom in the prior to act of his own.
- (Liara Myr)
- [16:48:25] Quirking a brow, Dj had one last trick to try to get a reaction- and a good one at that! Listening to Alvis' voice, Dzavesh begins his work. He motions his hands around in the air slowly and methodically. to those observing, this seems weird as it would be nothing in front of Dj to grab at or interact with. But in the eyes and mind of the audiomancer he was casting a rather troublemaker-esque spell indeed. In his eyes, he was twisting, replacing, plucking and relocating soundwaves and patterns.
- If Alvis speaks again the sound he will hear will not be his own voice but rather the sound of cow! this of course was the manipulation of perception and everyone else would hear everything as it was regular everyday conversation. As per usual, the effects and the maintenance of this spell were incredibly limited. Dj lacking magical stamina dicates a very short lifetime for much of his fun.
- (Dzavesh J. Balamani)
- [16:48:25]
- Leila smiles and laid her head against Zain's shoulder until her attention was abruptly caught when Thom had challenged Liara for Fire-Keeper. Looking towards Sirus as he appeared from the tree, giving the Ookami a little fright.
- Her yellow eyes glances between Liara, Thom and Sirus, curious what would happen next and if she should even get involved, not not yet. Only when things would defintely not look right, she would sit beside Zain until then.
- (Leila Rainfold)
- [16:49:16] Alvis Artorius: <*moos like a cow*>
- [16:50:59] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*snickers mischeviously*>
- [16:50:59] Alvis Artorius: <*Raised his eyebrow as another cow like sound came out*>
- [16:51:50] "No. This is happening."
- Thom stated, calmly as ever. "I care not for the reasons. The fact that I have been ignored as a champion and no one has come to me to ask things, opinions or otherwise hurts of its own right." The red haired man declared, a side glance made to Sirus. "So to you I will repeat what I have said. I am challenging Liara for Fire keeper. She either accepts and we fight or I leave Cinderfall."
- Liara's words brought a scowl to Thom's face. "That is the point isn't it? I am ignored, not only by you guys, but by everyone too. I am sick of being looked down on, of being ignored." Thom said, perhaps a look of anger on his face. "Do you know how long I've attempted to even have a talk with you Liara? I waited for months and months on end.. But you had time for everyone else but me. You say I didn't come to you.. But you were never around for me to speak to."
- "I will repeat. This is my request. Fight me for the rank of fire keeper, and if you win I will continue to follow. If I win, I will be Fire keeper. And if you refuse me, I will leave Cinderfall, and I won't come back."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [16:51:50] Dzavesh J. Balamani: You dont say? How Moooooving !
- [16:51:50] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*giggles*>
- [16:52:41] Alvis Artorius: <*Couldn't help but chuckle. Before making another cow noise.*>
- [16:53:32] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*stops the shennanigans for now*>
- [16:53:32] Dzavesh J. Balamani: You're a nice one mister.
- [16:54:24] Alvis Artorius: Am I? I just don't see the point in getting angry over a little fun.
- [16:54:24] The situation did not seem to look its best right now. He would smile as her head would hit his shoulder, but as the matter went on, and the arrival of Sirus, he didn't see the situation going in the best of directions, unless someone compromised.
- He would watch the eyes of Leila scatter around, as he would look down on her. He would soon shoot a look back towards Thom. The request he was making... surely, Liara had to go through with it to keep Thom here?
- Though, he had no clue how that might end. He would instead lean down, and talk to Leila softly. He didn't want to see this situation escilate, but if things continued, it surely would peak.
- (Zain)
- [16:54:24] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Nobody else likes when I copy them.
- [16:54:24] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Or make them sound different.
- [16:54:24] Zain whispers something.
- [16:55:15] Alvis Artorius: <*sighed*> It's possible that you do it at the wrong times. But who am I to know? It was entertaining for the bit it happened.
- [16:59:31] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Everyone needs to relax. Even for just one moment.
- [17:00:22] Dzavesh J. Balamani: All you big persons always look so <*makes a angry cat sound*>
- [17:00:22] Alvis Artorius: <*laughed once again*> It's true, A lot of us take thing s too seriously.
- [17:01:13] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Right!
- [17:02:04] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Even now theres big persons trying to fight for big person reasons.
- [17:02:04] Alvis Artorius: Yeah...It's sad that people think everything needs to be decided with fighting. But I don't think its something either of us should get ourselves involved in.
- [17:02:56] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I dont even know how to fight. I never have.
- [17:02:56] Alvis Artorius: Fighting is not as great as it seems. People get hurt and lives are lost...
- [17:05:29] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I think big persons just need breakfast.
- [17:05:29] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Im angry when I dont have breakfast
- [17:05:29] Dzavesh J. Balamani: maybe you big persons fight because you skip breakfast?
- [17:07:12] Alvis Artorius: I don't think thats entirely the truth, I think a lot of us fight because we each have something we wish to protect. Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Friends. We all fight for a different reason. Tell me DJ, When you group up, do you think you'll have anything you will want to fight for?
- [17:08:03] Dzavesh J. Balamani: uh. Waffles!
- [17:08:03] Alvis Artorius: <*Couldn't help but laugh loudly*> I wonder, Just whos Waffles is worth fighting for?
- [17:08:54] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*covers mouth*>
- [17:08:54] Dzavesh J. Balamani: OOOOOOO Mister is a nasty!
- [17:08:54] Alvis Artorius: Hm?
- [17:09:45] Dzavesh J. Balamani: You waffle wonderer!
- [17:09:45]
- Leila would nod to Zain, though she was unsure how that would go but she would need to try if it really came to that. As she continued to glace between the two, her feelings a bit hurt from Thom. If anyone in CInderfall's guild knew anything about being ignored, it was her, heck, Thom did it to her, Raa'za did it to her, even Maria.
- The Ookami felt a little sad, someone so powerful said he felt like he was being ignored? what did that make Leila who was only but a simple healer who stood in the background?
- (Leila Rainfold)
- [17:10:36] Alvis Artorius: <*chuckled, He couldn't help it. The kid was full of spite considering what was going on around him.*> I guess I am.
- [17:11:28] Dzavesh J. Balamani: <*bounces up and down happily*>
- [17:13:10] Alvis Artorius: Ah, How rude I should introduce myself, My name is Alvis Artorius.
- [17:13:10] Dzavesh J. Balamani: So.... Mister then?
- [17:14:01] Alvis Artorius: Ah, Misters fine I guess.
- [17:14:52] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Okay!
- [17:15:44] Sirus pinched the bridge of his nose as he let out one of the heaviest sighs he's ever let out. "You wern't being ignored Thom. Hell, one could treat this ultimatum as that of a coup. Even if you were to leave, where would you go? Especially with war looming so close on the horizon? We'd need you."
- He frowned at Thom. This was a sudden 180 from how the guy usually acted, almost as if he was being posessed or he had a second personality. "If this is what Cinderfal has to go through then there is simply no hope for us to win. How can we fight an enemy if we fight ourselves? Maria definitely wouldn't want this. From -EITHER- of you."
- Sirus was now agitated and pissed over the whole ideal. "Plus technically speaking I would be next in line for the succession of Firekeeper but... Whatever."
- (Sirus Blackmane)
- [17:15:44] Alvis Artorius: So if you don't mind if I ask, Do you have a dream?
- [17:16:35] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I had one before I woke up!
- [17:17:26] Alvis Artorius: I see, Would you mind sharing it?
- [17:17:26] Dzavesh J. Balamani: Uh, it was this boy I like! He gave me a cookie during snack time.
- [17:18:17] Dzavesh J. Balamani: And he always picked me for team freeze tag!
- [17:18:17] Alvis Artorius: Well that seems like a nice dream.
- [17:20:00] He would look between the many of them, as he would keep his eye on the situation. Though, to be honest, he could see in a way where Thom was coming from. To a lesser extent of course. Hell, the only reason he was the rank he was now was because he had spoken out twice, both resulting in a promotion.
- Since then? He has helped and tried to make a difference, even if being a champion is what gave you true influence. A hand would be placed on the shoulder of Leila, almost as a reassurance.
- However, Zain would make what might be the unnessesary choice of speaking. He would look towards Sirus. "Thom has a problem with things, and he believes this is goin' to fix this, regardless of the result. It's not a coup, it's his way of going around this." He would look between the two of them, mainly to Thom. "Try to talk this out instead of jumping to an ultimatum like this, Thom..." For now, that's all he needed, or wanted to say. He said his current peace. He didn't want Thom to leave, but he wanted things resolved.
- (Zain)
- [17:20:51] Sirus Blackmane: I guess coup is a strong word but... Bah. I don't know what to think.
- [17:22:33] Alvis Artorius: So tell me Dj, Who taught you those tricks you were playing on me earlier?
- [17:22:33] "Thom, if you are serious, I will be deeply hurt. . . But I am going to tell you why before I give you my answer." The woman simply looked forward with that of a frown.
- "You've always been like a little brother to me, ever since I met you, we helped eachother out, you helped me learn lightning magic, and I helped you learn water, what you did for me. . .it was immense. I didn't ignore you, I let you do your own thing, let you be your own man, up until now. you crave attention, enough to make a demand like this. One that I cannot accept, will not accept, and should not accept." The woman remained firm, planting her heel and withdrawwing the twinblade, this sort of Ultimatum, she'd heard it before in Nostvale, before Bast flung his weapon to try for Maria's life blood, Liara wasn't going to fall for the honeyed words of promise to not attack, she'd be ready to defend herself, far sooner than risking her death.
- Blue eyes remained upon him, so visibly hurt on the inside. "Why would you ask some one who does care about you, regards you highly enough to grant you a position on the council, and was willing to let you do your own things as your own person, of all things, to fight you?" The woman's eyes rested upon him.
- "Why would you make it over the position of the former before her, her own best friend, passed to her as one of her last actions?" Her fingers curled tightly, talking about this even hurt. But no word of thinking it a coup.
- "SO WHY tell me!?. . . Please. . .before you go."
- (Liara Myr)
- [17:23:24] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I dunno. I did i guess.
- [17:24:16] Alvis Artorius: Self Taught huh?
- [17:26:49] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I think so
- [17:27:40] Alvis Artorius: <*thought for a few seconds.*> <"I really don't like the sound of whats going on over there...Kids don't need hear about this...">
- [17:29:23] Hasaii La'Heba: <*Shrugs and listens to the conversation.*>
- [17:29:23] Alvis Artorius: So what you do enjoy to do Dj?
- [17:29:23] Luna Imeri Rockbell: *with Musaka asleep, she headed outside to check on things. Just observing the conversation*
- [17:30:14] Luna Imeri Rockbell: how's your training going Dzavesh?
- [17:30:14] Dzavesh J. Balamani: I work with fabrics alot...
- [17:31:05] Alvis Artorius: Oh? <*He was cut off as Luna spoke deciding to stay quiet for a bit.*>
- [17:32:48] After spending a lot of time in the company of Ancillia, the polite and friendly girl who offered him shelter, care, and attention, Gramber be determined to know other new figures.. He had to be able to overcome shame and meet other people. A kind of cold snatched the mimic's belly, causing a funny and nervous feeling. He grabbed her friend's hand and a quick kiss before heading out, spotting a pair that looked interesting and good people to talk to, heading in that direction.
- Though on the inside she was waging a great war against shyness, goo waved a gentle gesture at the two boys before finally approaching, an embarrassed smile slowly opening in the face.
- (Gramber)
- [17:33:39] Sirus' words were noted.. And caused a scowl on Thom's face. "Ultimatums are the only ways I get listened to around here. Even with Maria I had to threaten to leave to talk with her. You say you need me, and yet when I try to speak no one listens. And no, Maria wouldn't want this from either of us. But Maria would have taken on my request and beat me so I would listen."
- His eyes thenceforth moved to Liara. "I am serious." The red haired man declared before hearing Liara's words.. Her anwser. Upon that the glaive would be removed from the ground, once again placed onto the man's back. A frown came across his face. "I consider you a sister as well Liara. Which is why I wanted you to listen. But there never came a time when we could talk."
- "You can not accept my request so I will follow through on my word. But you ask me my reasoning?" A glance towards all those around. "Simple. I'll tell you exactly what I told Maria before she left for her meeting to Nostvale. If she died I would lose hope. I followed her vision, I followed her because I believed in her and the things she would do.
- She is gone now. And to me that Eternal Flame that she lead is also gone. That hope I had in her is gone. That, in combination with the fact I am so often ignored and the worries from others.. I guess I should mention that hm? Many people have come to me and told me Cinderfall wasn't going to last. I said they were wrong. I believed in Cinderfall.
- But my belief is shot. Even when I make a request it is turned down. This is not the Eternal Flame or the Cinderfall I believed in. If I can not make a request and it not be called a coup to me it is not more then a sham. It's time for me to wake up.
- Goodbye Liara. You were like my sister. Goodbye Sirus. You were like my brother." With those words said the red haired man began marching towards the exit to the village.

- [17:37:04] Sirus Blackmane: . . .
- [17:37:55] Alvis Artorius: <"Perhaps I should step in...No, it's for the best I stay out of it.">
- [17:37:55] Zain whispers something.
- [17:37:55] Hasaii La'Heba: <* He just arrived in town not too long ago he didnt know this people besides the scary man. so he would stay away and let him handle it.*>
- [17:38:46] Alvis Artorius whispers something.
- [17:40:28] Leila Rainfold whispers something.
- [17:41:20] Leila Rainfold whispers something.
- [17:42:11] Dj bubbled to himself happily. He enjoyed the attention. But before long his attention was split between Alvis, Luna who had just arrived on the scene, and now a goopy goop that waved? Confused and slightly overwhelmed Dj spun around twice and sat on the ground until everything came at him a little slower. Else he would be speaking to three people back to back. All of which with three completely different tones, intentions and purposes.
- Not to mention theres big people drama happening literally not that far from the boy. All of the action was indeed hard to track, especially having to listen to each. Well that was a choice, but still!
- (Dzavesh J. Balamani)
- [17:42:11] Zain whispers something.
- [17:42:11] Her weapon returned as she'd approach Thom. "Wait. . ." her weapon resting against her back, this wasn't a fight she was going towards, but something else. She approached her hand gently resting upon his shoulder, trying to be kind, if he'd let her.
- Her tone was a bit mroe somber in the word, and even still the same as she continued to speak. "Thom. . . you speak of losing hope, but we stand at the worst situation we've ever been at, are you sincere? Are you truthful that you waver at the loss of one, think back on who we've lost as a whole, we've lost many, I tried to give up once. . . good people kept me from doing so. So, please. Thom, let me this chance to make good for you in this." Her hand pet along his shoulder, as she'd try to wrap arms about him.
- "I don't care if you fight for us anymore, you could completely put up your weapon and magic and I'd still think the same of you. As you've always been, you're like a little brother to me, my discretion was flawwed, it mistook absence for a wanderlust, and want, a want to be on your own and doing your own thing, it's a mistake you didn't ever give me a chance to rectify. You just came with this ultimatum." Her hand would gently pet the male's shoulder, and give him a warm squeeze, if he hadn't tried to break free, her tone still just as meek, just as pained.
- "Don't say were, we still are- rather we still can be, just have some hope, have some faith in me. C-can't you?"
- (Liara Myr)
- [17:43:53] Zain whispers something.
- [17:43:53] Leila Rainfold whispers something.
- [17:43:53] Alvis Artorius whispers something.
- [17:43:53] Zain: <nods softly>
- [17:44:44] Alvis Artorius: <*stood up from the tree.*> I'll be taking my leave for a bit Dj, It was nice speaking to you. <*He'd nod as he took his leave from the area. He didn't need to be mixed in this drama*>
- [17:47:18] "H-hello ..."
- The hoarse, funny, slow voice was in a phase of "adaptation," a result of the mime's vocabulary inadequacy. Just to speak a single word was already a great challenge and step to be taken, who gave a complete sentence. But the little creature showed a generosity and innocence in his eyes, as if everything he said were pure and without malice. Why does she show up in a trio of people? I just wanted to make more friends. This was the main cause that made him drop the cave and infiltrate Cinderfell.
- "I'm ... Gramber ..."
- (Gramber)
- [17:54:08] "So... You're just going to up and leave when things are going rough? What ever happened to perseverance? I never took you to be one to quit, Thom." The decision Thom made pained Sirus. He always saw Thom like a little brother as well and to see him leave was... Well, not good.
- "But... this is your decision. Liara wants you to put faith in her just as you put faith in Maria. Now I can tell you that she would be devestated to hear this if she were still alive. Please, reconsider... The Alliance is right around the corner and you're one of our most powerful, if not THE most powerful champion of us all. If you leave... the Alliance WILL mobilize and almost everyone here will die and everything we've worked for will be put to the torch."
- Sirus gripped his fist for a brief moment, his teeth gritting as well. "You might have lost hope in the Eternal Flame but what about the 20,000 people living here? They still hold hope for YOU! For all of us! Are you just going to go and forsake that hope...? That isn't like you, Thom. Please, reconsider..." He walked up to Thom and placed a hand on his shoulder.
- "Is there anything I can do to make you reconsider...? The fate of everyone here is at stake."
- (Sirus Blackmane)
- [18:02:40] And wait Thom did. The feeling of a hand on his shoulder, as well as the subsequent hug were noted.. Thom's feet stopped, but as they did he just continued to stare forwards, towards the caves. ".. I am sincere. My hope was gone the second Maria left. I wanted to talk about it but.. I barely could." His glance then turned to Liara.
- "I would like to give you a chance. I honestly would. But I gave my word before you all that I would leave if refused. If I bent now, if I went back on my word that I gave to all present then I would have no honor.. I would have every right to be ignored. So no, I can't stop now. I will leave.
- But it does pain me to do this sister and brother. Dragging my glaive across my neck when I tried to die the first time was a hundred times eaiser then this. Of that you can be assured." Thom would say. "But leaving now is not me giving up. It is me keeping my promise that I made to you all.
- There is nothing one can do to make me reconsider. I will not go back on my word. I am no longer a champion... Perhaps if you view it that way I am no longer your brother." With one last second to memorize the feeling of Liara's hands as well as Sirus' Thom would begin to walk forwards, walk away.
- "Life is unfair. But keep moving forwards as long as you can. I however, can not follow."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [18:11:12] Luna listened to Thom and the others. She was neutral to the eternal war of good versus evil; according to the Time Law of Non-Interference. One of the visions of the possible future she had seen several months ago prior to Dumuzid's fall, was The Alliance in a war against Cinderfall and Sunflower.
- Cinderfall still had a destiny ahead of it. This is why she visited once in a while and helped purely as a "Healer". Knowing what could happen and letting it happen was what she was supposed to do. She couldn't interfere or intervene. She had to let Maria go to her death, she had to left Arcelious and her Father both go to their deaths.
- If she changed their destinies; time would rebound and replace the altered event with an equally worse event and she would burn for what she did; the temporal energies would burn her into dust.
- If she ever wanted the power to transcend time, she would have to obtain relics that would boost her powers significantly. The Timeline was already altered; this she was aware for some time.
- Knowing people were going to die and let them meet their destiny was what she was supposed to do instead of try to change people's destiny for her own selfish desires. This is why the Time Laws existed as a guide for Time Magi to follow. She watched and listened as Thom spoke and made his leave.

- Leila rushed to Thom's side, jerking him to face her, she was clearly upset. "I miss Maria as well but you don't see me running away Thom! If you dearly wish to see Maria's ideals then do something about it rather than giving this petty little arguement. I still believe in Maria, even when she isn't physically here, I still believe in her. You talk about being ignored, what about me? you say you wish to be heard, what have I been doing here? I rush to your side to see Ancillia already there, so I assume she should've been takling to you but what does she have to say on this in support of you?" Her yellow eyes fierce, she dearly wanted thom to stay here because without him, there wasn't much of a family left for her.
- "Simply telling to the whole town that you've been ignored when you had me here to listen, I told you that I was here, we told each other we would talk to each other when things looked bad for eah other. You need to also think about your family as well, you're going about this so recklessly without thinking of the consequences. This isn't my big brother!" Her memories flashed to the moment when the two of them broke down to share their feelings of the war, the images that displayed before the two of them. Leila did her best to stand up as tall as she could, still going strong to put everyone in front of herself to end up having the one person she cherished to say no one heared him out. She spoke out so immediately that she didn't know what else to say, she was at a lost for words, this wasn't for Liara or for Cinderfall but for his promise to tell her everything that was happening with him. She trusted Ancillia with that promise as well, hoping he would open up to her as well to share his feelings and she could perhaps tell him things would be okay or at least ask him to stick around until the baby was old enough, this thought angered the Ookami, especially when an unborn child is involved.
- (Leila Rainfold)
- [18:34:14] He would soon notice everyone giving their words to Thom. As Sirus and Liara's words did nothing to stop him, he thought nothing was going to stop him. It would be then that Leila would spring over, and begin to talk to Thom. It was... so strange to see her as upset as she was. It was true how much Thom would be leaving behind, and finally, Zain would be the last one to chime in.
- As he would begin to step behind Leila, he would softly place a hand on her shoulder, standing behind her. He would keep eyes dead focused on Thom. "She's right, Thom... Maria had ideals for this group, and as a member- no... a champion, you choose to uphold what she believed in when she was alive. She isn't... So why not continue to push those ideals?"
- He would fall silent for a moment. "You feel so strongly to the point where you would leave because of how things are, but what does that prove? Prove to you, prove to us?... We need you here for things to get better. A lot of us have felt ignored, especially yourself. You once told me that infighting did nothing. That it would do nothing but hurt us... So what are you doing right now?"
- He would narrow his eyes. "Then change things. You're leaving behind everything you've worked for... everyone who cares for you, and all the ideals you wanted to carry with this group. You leaving...? It's not proving a point, it's making things worse." Zain... didn't know much of what to say outside of that. He even thought to himself that he said more than he should have.
- (Zain)
- [18:38:30] Sirus Blackmane: Do you see how everyone here is trying to get you to see the error you're making? This shows how much we don't want you to go. We truely care about you Thom.
- [18:41:04] Liara's hurt gaze once more went to Thom. "Then promise you'll come back, your word says nothing about returning Thom." Her blue eyes were upon his glowing eyes, and she even got in his path.
- The woman pouted a little. "I wont let you leave, unless you promise me. Some day, when you see that your hopes wouldn't have been missplaced in Cinderfall, that you will come back and rejoin us be our brother- in your eyes again." Her hand didn't leave him, she clung to him holding his shoulder with naught but compassion and care.
- "Will you please, just promise me that? Little brother?" Sure, no blood was there, but heart and emotion, Liara tried to be the stern cold premise based woman, but this boy- this man, was her family, her little brother to her.
- (Liara Myr)
- [18:51:18] For a second perhaps those facing him could see it in his eye. The urge to break, the urge to turn back, to be a member of Cinderfall, to stay. But very quickly it was contained, by just a singular thought that someone told him not long ago. 'It won't be long before they turn on you too. It won't be long until they implant you, betray you like in the days of the republic'. Such a thought steeled his nerves and he shook his head.
- "... I can not stay." Thom would say to all parties around. "I still believe in Maria's ideals but.. We have already begun taking steps away from it. And.. If I can't try to fight to change the things that I see wrong.. If I am refused my requests that would let me stay, let change things, let me not be ignored, then I will go."
- A glance towards Leila. "I'm trying not to be reckless, but all that gets me is ignored. Maria was the same way. You either go in reckless.. Or you stangate. These are the only ways I see."
- A look towards Zain. "It does make a point. If nothing else that I keep my word. If I say that I'm going to leave if something does not happen, then I will indeed leave. If nothing else accept this as fact. Thats what this proves."
- The hues illuminate Sirus' face briefly. "Many errors have been made, and people don't always listen. This is just one more.."
- And finally.. Thom stares at Liara. For a second he almost goes to hug her but he stops himself. ".. I can not promise that. I can not promise anything more right now.. I am sorry sister."
- With his words and emotions all given Thom once more attempts to leave.
