- [19:04] Syracuse took a deep breath, he was called to teach once again was it? He'd lean off of the wall of his prison cell. Resting his elbows upon his knees as his sienna hues leveled themselves upon Maestus.
- He'd sit in silence for a few moments, perhaps thinking of what to say, perhaps merely enjoying the silence. As he waited he'd raise a hand to brush his hair back, the other straightening his coat.
- To him it didn't matter that he was bound, that his body was weakening, or that his mind was starting to crumble under the prolonged imprisonment and Occultic episodes.
- What mattered was that he give the aura of someone with the answers. Someone that could enlighten others. He'd preach once again, but this time it'd not be in a hallowed church at the pulpit.
- No, he'd simply be speaking through the thick bars of a Huangzhou jail. To a youthful child who was looking for answers or perhaps amusement. Either was acceptable in his eyes.
- "Let's begin, with the start shall we? Long ago there was an Angel unlike all the others. It's name was Kraus, Kraus was a flawed angel marred by the horrors of it's past."
- He'd point towards the signs of signs of starvation upon his own frame.
- "He created everything. Yet, he was imperfect and so he created an imperfect world."
- He'd learned a few things from Krausites in his past. One of them being a clearer understanding of the beginning.
- "Perhaps it didn't mean to do this, perhaps it had merely not had the strength to accomplish it."
- With a deep breath he'd prepare for the next part. It was the part that far to often was shrouded in the most darkness.
- "He either vanished or startd to rule with an iron fist over his creations. The sources are unclear at this point. However, Azreal saw the plight of humanity. The hunger and disease and death. He couldn't accept this existence for us."
- The giant Neries brought his hands together as he continued. Utilizing the gesture to steady himself but also to apply a kinship with Azreal's acts.
- "So, he rebelled against the laws of the Angels. In doing so he created the Holy Arts, Necromancy as they call it. To free us from our fates."
- He had a lot of ground that needed covered so unfortunately he couldn't dwell upon the specifics of Necromancy.
- "There was a mighty war in the Heavens waged due to this. I don't know what happened exactly but in the end Kraus and Azreal where gone. Some say imprisoned, but as for where? Well, I've my theories."
- As he spoke he took a glance to the sky. He felt it was dark outside. There was a pull towards the great disc in his heart at that moment. Yet, this was all hidden to the young witch.
- "Now, Azreal's Dream was the Utopia. I told you of this already. However, allow me to briefly give you an overview of the tenets as passed down to us by the Prophet Sareen, savior of my race."
- As he spoke, he'd raise a figner upon his hand. Listing off the four tenets as they where told to him so many times in his past. First one finger.
- "The first tenet, pursue progress. Work towards improving the lives of those around you. Better the world through advancements and never let another sotp you from doing so."
- Then a second finger rose, a smile starting to touch his lips.
- "Secondly pursue truth. You can see that not all understand this tenet, but it is that you must understand others. Their views, their hopes, their dreams."
- A third finger rose, and with it Syracuse leaned a bit closer.
- "Stability, we must all work together of our own volition to bring about a stable world. Only through unity can we ever achieve the true freedom of a utopia."
- Finally a fourth finger rose.
- "Temper all progress for it can easily be lead astray into madness. With mercy, respect your fellow man and forgive them their faults. Truth with wisdom, not all truths should be shared openly least you risk destroying lives. Stability with justice, a tyranny is not a paradise, oppression is not in the Dream."
- After that he'd give a whimsical smile, before raising his thumb.Five.
- "Finally, the tenet I will pass onto you. Granted to me through my meditations. Pursue happiness. Live your life to it's fullest, embrace the sensations of the world, the wonders of the lifestream. You cannot do this if you are dead or imprisoned."
- He'd stop for a moment, taking steady breaths. He'd never attempted to teach so much in one sitting. Normally a sermon would be focused on one tenet only nor had he ever shared his own tenet. If he'd done so he'd have been labeled a heretic long ago.
