- Michael Crow: Smoked weed for the longest time growing up, and I'm a strong advocate of: "You cannot judge people unless you have put yourself in that situation and experienced it firsthand."
- It isn't worth smoking. It isn't worth the social stigma, it isn't worth meeting people who are fuckups of society, and it isn't worth lowering yourself in the eyes of everyone around you.
- People smoke it literally for no other reason than for a hour or two of pleasure, the same I can get from winning an arena game, drinking a soda and watching a ballgame, ect, without resorting to drugs. Drugs are for people hurting or ill and in need for something, this is why I do not believe in recreational drugs, the word and meaning behind it is the complete opposite of recreation.
- tl;dr People who smoke weed are weak and deserve to be looked down upon, whether in an emotional, spiritual, or physical aspect, somethings broken somewhere and that drug isnt one that will fix it. It should never be legalized.
- tl;dr part two: It steals the lives away from a good chunk of the stonerfolk, they no longer have the zest for life they used to, I call them burnouts, because they've burned out what made them, them.
- Gangles: Leave this topic.
- You just disrespected me.
- Not to mention you're a dumbass, because steve jobs not only smoked marijuana, but occasionally dropped LSD, do you consider yourself smarter then him?
- Michael Crow: Uh, yes actually. Namely because I don't steal and sell other peoples software
- That said, just because I don't agree with you doesn't make my opinion more or less invalid, your sudden jump to ad hominem says a lot. At least I backed up my opinion with experience.
- And hey, one last point: If you get caught with enough weed, you go to jail for quite a while, if you get caught with a little, you're still in jail for a little bit and that'll stain your record and probably hurt your chances down the road career wise. All to just feel good for a little while. Isn't that pretty dumb? Trading your freedom and throwing away chances that may exist over some pot?
- Just saying. Think on it.
