It is an advanced magic, and as such it has no incantation and is more of an art than an exact science. No two practitioners of Hydrokinesis are the same; this is also what makes it such a difficult ability to master. When first starting out with the ability it is important to note that Hydrokinesis is exceedingly difficult and it is unlikely that your character will be able to master the control of water immediately. Characters under the age of seventeen are unable to learn this ability for that exact reason, however they may begin to practise in the context of a lesson. You may only have Hydrokinesis on three characters, and only two at Apprentice tier.

  4. To control water, you need to have your wand on your person at all times, and it must be in your hand when you are using the ability in a combat setting. You can only manipulate water that already exists – that is to say: you cannot create or expand a volume of water through Hydrokinesis, however it can be performed upon conjured water from charms such as Aqua Eructo and Aguamenti. Only masters can control water that they cannot see, and water can only be manipulated in its liquid state, unless you are changing the temperature of ice to cause it to melt into water.

  6. In terms of roleplay, successfully gaining control over water is done in a certain amount of lines per tier.[div style="margin-left:15px;"][spoiler]{[b][font face="times new roman"]APPRENTICE TIER[/font][/b]        7 lines}*I hold my wand out over the water/turn my focus onto the water.*
  7. *I spend a few moments getting a feel for the flow and direction of the water.*

  9. *My magic moves between the molecules of water and begins to take control of them.*
  10. *I continue to push my magic out into the water, pushing my control over it.*
  11. *As I do this, the water's natural movements begins to be disrupted.*
  12. *And I then have control over the water.*
