Welcome New Employee to the Anomalous Capture Study and Containment Organization or ACSC for short! You've been chosen among thousands of your peers to join this wondrous organization and help make the world a safer place! You were chosen for your Bravery, Ability to keep secrets, and a whole bunch of other technical stuff we won't go into right now but rest assured we have a very strict method of finding employees like you. Now you're probably asking yourself: "What does the ACSC do?" Well that's a great question! The ACSC studies known as spirits which as far as we know, are more or less what's left of a person after they die, these spirits can range from the angry poltergeist-level stuff you've seen in those oh-so-popular horror movies all the way to friendly spirits that tend to just keep to themselves. Our organization was founded on the study of these spirits and the entities born from them after a series of events in which one of our founders, simply known as jane, had killed a manifestation of evil that had been haunting a good portion of the US for years at that point and found that this creature she killed somehow kept coming back with a slightly different body each time. After that she found out that the creature's spirit was persisting after death and would seek out a suitable host and after which would rebuild itself into a new version of itself. She found a group of like-minded individuals and hunted the creature down, containing it within one of the first spirit containment grids ever made! This spirit can be seen in the lobby of our organization, as a reminder as to why we do what we do in the first place!

Anyways, any further information will be relayed to you at the end of our orientation, depending on the clearance level you've been approved for as a part of your scouting. Anyways remember, Stay safe, stay awake, and most of all be the blade that cuts through the darkness of this world!
