- English is becoming very popular these days. More and more people all over the world are studying English to get better jobs or a better education. Some people think it's not a good idea to study English, but I disagree.
- One reason people say we don't need to study English is that Spanish is a more useful language. There are many countries that speak Spanish and they are all very near each other. However, people speak Spanish only in Latin America, but people speak English in many different parts of the world. English is more useful for people who want to travel to different places.
- Another reason some people don't want to study English is because they have good translator machines. They can type English into the machine and it will tell them the meaning in their own language. However, translators are not perfect. If you don't understand English very well, you can't know if your translator machine is making some mistakes.
- Finally, some people say they don't need to learn English because their life is in their country. All of their friends and family and coworkers speak the same language, so they don't need English to communicate. However, most people don't spend their whole life only in one place. Maybe you'll want to travel to another country some day, or maybe you'll meet a tourist from another country who knows English but not your language.
- In conclusion, although there are some people who think you don't need to study English, I believe there are stronger reasons why you should study it. If you agree with me, you should start to take an English class at a good school.
