  1. I'm writing on behalf of decade.tf to enquire about possible support for the event I and a number of sizeable members of the Team Fortress 2 community are currently organising.
  2.
  3. The event / stream is called Decade.tf, it will be taking place online, on the 7th/8th of October.
  4. Decade.tf will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Team Fortress 2, which is the 10th of that month. Another main focus for the stream, will be the fundraiser. Some of our donations will be going into rewarding the community, and the next large event's prize pool. The rest will all be given to the amazing charity Special Effect (http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/). We will not be making any profits from the event, anything that we can spare or donate will be going into the fundraiser and the charity.
  5.
  6. As part of our event, we would like to create a short (10-20) minute film, documenting the extremely unique and interesting timeline that Team Fortress 2 has had over the past 10 years. A vital part of the documentary we have planned is various interviews with old and new members of the extremely passionate Team Fortress 2 community. As you can imagine, this is quite a task, getting a large portion of a game that's played worldwide's community in one place at the same time. However, on the 25th we have just that opportunity, at Insomnia 61. me and some other volunteer staff members are attending the BYOC event, as well as people who have currently agreed to be interviewed by us.
  7.
  8. We currently have access to a camera that one of our contributors has let us use for the interviews. This is what we plan to use for recording footage and interviews at and around the event. However, we currently have no suitable mic, or tripod, for use in the interviews. Ideally, we would have a better camera also, to increase the production value of our short production. We were wondering if it would be possible to get some help from Multiplay in terms of a monetary sponsorship to be able to rent / buy equipment, or preferably (due to time constraints) be able to lend any equipment, primarily a tripod and/or a suitable microphone, and possibly a camera, that you may have available during the time of the event.
  9.
  10. In return, we can offer promotion in terms of logos and other material on our social media banners, we can run ads / videos during the stream in October, and also include Multiplay in the documentary opening as a sponsor, supporter, or contributing organisation. These are all the things we really have access to in terms of doing things in return, however we are not making any profit whatsoever, and the documentary will be made mainly to support the fundraising event.
  11.
  12. Not only would decade.tf be delighted to have any support you're willing to give us, it would also help our charity fundraiser a huge amount. Being able to better legitimise our event with Multiplay's support, but also having the extra production value making it the whole thing so much higher quality would be brilliant. It would have such a positive impact for Decade.tf, SpecialEffect, everyone they work to improve the quality of life of, and the Team Fortress 2 community as a whole.
  13.
  14. We really appreciate you considering our offer, feel free to contact the decade.tf email (decade.tf2@gmail.com) or my personal email for any questions regarding decade.tf, or anything that I've mentioned.
  15.
  16. Many thanks
