↝ PERSONALITY:
    ¤ LOUD & EASY GOING - despite looking very calm and collected, always wearing a small smile on her face, annie is the complete opposite. she is extremely talkative, mostly with the people she knows, and can be very loud, especially when she gets really into something. she is also very easy going, and hates any sort of conflict whatsoever, making her the type of person to ignore her problems until they go away, and just walk around with a smile on her face.

    ¤ CLINGY - annie is an extremely clingy person, and can often be seen hanging off the arm of one of the other members (usually EEVEE or GROWLITHE). she absolutely loves skinship of any kind. however, her clinginess is a slight representation of her insecurity, as she is terrified of being abandoned, and she is very dependent on the people closest to her. she also secretly loves being fussed over and babied by the other members

    ¤ ELEGANT - annie is a very elegant person, and has been told before that she resembles a princess. the way she walks has an air of elegance to it, without making her seem stuck up, which is probably due to the years of ballet she did as a small child. she has very good manners and is extremely polite to the people around her. she is also the type of person to stick her pinky finger out while drinking or eating.

    ¤ OPTIMISTIC - she always looks on the bright side, and is a glass-half-full type of person. she can find the bright side of anything, even when things turn out extremely bad and get worse. she has a knack for cheering up people without meaning to, and is always there when you need a shoulder to lean on, as she is a good listener. she never fails to make other people smile, and will do literally anything to cheer people up, even if it means embarrassing herself.

    ¤ SELF-CONSCIOUS / INSECURE - despite being very loud and talkative, annie can also be rather self conscious. she isn't native to korea, coming from a chinese background and growing up in australia, and therefore often struggles with the language barrier, even though she tries to hide and pretend that she isn't insecure at all. her knowledge of korean characters is very limited, and she has trouble reading and writing in korean. she also tends to stumble over her words a lot when she is put on the spot of gets nervous.



↝ BACKGROUND:
    ¤ annie was born in hong kong to a young couple, who'd only recently graduated from college. however, when she was two, she moved to sydney, australia, where her younger twin brothers, aiden and david were born. living in australia and attending school there, she learnt to speak english, which is now the only language she fluently speaks. her parents both had busy jobs, with her mother being a marine biologist, and her father being a zoologist. from the age of three, her mother enrolled her in ballet lessons, because as a young child, annie had been rather clumsy and had a habit of knocking things over. her mother thought that ballet lessons would help her become a bit more graceful, and it worked. that was where her interest in performing started, as she continued ballet lessons until she was fourteen years old, picking up a few other styles of dance along the way. at school, she had average grades, and only just managed to pass her subjects, because it became clear that she was much more focused on dance rather than her studies, which caused conflict between her and her father, who wanted her to get good grades and then get a job in the science field. however, annie was then awarded a scholarship to the MINISTRY OF DANCE in melbourne, and pestered her parents to let her go, arguing that all she wanted to do was dance, and not sit and study science all day. her mother was the first to agree, and then later persuaded her father to let annie go. she was scouted for the entertainment company at one of her performances, and then attended a global audition before being accepted. she was keen to join the entertainment company, after seeing exo debut with a chinese sub unit, which she felt she could relate to more being chinese herself. her mother was extremely supportive, and encouraged her to go and follow her dream, even though her father was less than please. annie is extremely grateful towards her mother, claiming that if it weren't for her, she'd still be in australia.

↝ TRAINING DURATION: 3 years

↝ EXPERIENCE WITH SINGING / DANCING:
    ¤ she has been dancing since she was three years old. she started off with ballet, which she continued until she was fourteen. she picked up gymnastics when she was seven, and moved on top hiphop when she turned eleven. she continued gymnastics and hiphop right up until she was accepted into the entertainment company.
    ¤ she won a scholarship to the MINISTRY OF DANCE in melbourne, australia and continued her education there on a full time dance course until she moved to korea to begin her training under the entertainment company.

↝ STAGE PERSONA:
    ¤ SWEET & SEXY - annie's on stage persona is rather odd, due to the fact that she can take 180 degree turn in a matter of seconds. she has no problems pulling off a sexy concept while dancing, but as soon as the music stops, all of that disappears. for some reason, she cannot pull off the sexy look unless dancing, so as soon as the performance is over, she goes back to being a total cutie with a bright smile on her face. it amazes people how she can go from being set and oozing with confidence, to an innocent cutie who rambles and giggles awkwardly only to be shut up by one of the other members (the leader probably) in such a short period of time.
