Setting. ayyyyy

You come to your senses standing in the middle of a dimly lit cave. No matter how hard you try you can't seem to make out a visible light source. The walls of the cave are covered in paintings that look several hundred thousand years old, judging from the style and motifs. There's a clutter of talismans hanging from the roof, mounted on the walls and lying around on every possible surface. They seem to come from every known culture, and several more. The floor of the cave is covered in feathers, bones and various other debris. Upon taking a step forward you hear a crunching sound as the bones are crushed beneath your feet.

In one end of the cave hangs a tapestry depicting various different corvids feasting on corpses. A whiff of fresh air seems to come from behind it, but if you lift the tapestry all you will see is a stone wall.

What on earth is going on here?
