  1. [17:58] {NARRATION} Moving quick, a raiding force of Huangzhou soldiers march on the watchtower south of Dawn. Responding quickly, Dawn's own magi and their vampiric allies are able to intercept them in an attempt to stop the watchtowers destruction!
  2.
  3. [18:08] The winds whistled through the plains today, seeming to carry whispers of imminent peril. The kind that swathed each group, eyeballed by the dreaded gaze of Death himself. Blood would be shed that day it seems--Un-wol had armed himself at the first sound of the alarm bell going off once the scouts identified the motley squadron of magi from Huangzhou before they reached the highlands into Dawn.
  4.
  5. As the skies thundered, affected by numerous thunder magi--Un-wol included, injecting the heavens with his own mana--the silence in the plains broke as numerous fights broke out immediately.
  6.
  7. Un-wol himself seemed to have encountered someone he knew rather intimately.
  8.
  9. Perhaps too much, given their positions.
  10.
  11. He had been deceived.
  12.
  13. "Salthiel," the blonde magi yells, jutting his spear at the stoic ice magi. "So you have decided to side with them, in the end...?" Un-wol's voice seems to leak undertones of regret. His teeth are grit as he speaks, "I had thought you to see past the hypocrisy of Huangzhou…
  14.
  15. "Bear your arms!" he yells a second time, wasting no time.
  16.
  17. A twirl of the spear sent ripples and bands of gravity and electricity out in every direction from Un-wol's figure, and a loud din of distant magi battling erupted as their backdrop, before he shot forth to engage in magical melee.
  18. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [18:16] The magi, akin to a flash of lightning, descended; stabbing his spear against the ground, thus, creating a crater about him.
  22.
  23. "Hypocrisy is a sin of mankind," said Salthiel before standing up from a kneel as wings of light of flowered on his back.
  24.
  25. "And men are sinful creatures. However, that does not mean I've given up hope on them, as the divine did not on us," he added.
  26.
  27. "Unwol, I, myself am a hypocrite," said the Anauel, voice hinting of regret.
  28.
  29. In response, he also dashed forth to meet the Invidia.
  30.
  31. "If you are not, then tell me, what made you give up your humanity?"
  32. (Salthiel Anauel)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [18:33] Frostbite threatened to bind Un-wol in its pale icy grip everytime the golden-winged Anauel shortened the distance between them. Un-wol never unclamped his teeth as he fought, tight-faced and austere. The other's points had resonated with him.
  36.
  37. Yet it seemed Un-wol's tenacity, defying fate with all his might, would overcome the morose, thought-provoking mentality of his enemy.
  38.
  39. Surges of golden lightning swam over the grass, blanketing the area, and stepping forth to meet stave with spear, shockwaves of incompatible energies erupted around them, rattling the ground and earth. In the end, the victor was nigh and clear-
  40.
  41. Swiping aside Salthiel's staff with his own, Un-wol leaves the other open. He raises a finger to the sky.
  42.
  43. A veritable vortex of electric energy swirled down from every part of the sky exactly above the golden-haired magi, converging on his fingertip before he brought it down and pressed it against the flat of Salthiel's weapon, who had just enough time to bring his guard up again.
  44.
  45. "I am no hypocrite, for I am true to what I am- a monster! I will have my immortality!" he roars at the same time as the spinning, greatly concentrated orb of holy lightning connects.
  46.
  47. The collision erupts into a powerful ripple that sends the ice magi spinning.
  48.
  49. Too far for Un-wol to catch up, but his voice could go faster.
  50.
  51. "Are you true to what you are, though, Anauel?!"
  52. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [18:45] Lightning and spears of ice danced amidst the area, swallowing them both as they engaged in magical melee.
  56.
  57. Both exchanged blows, their respective weapons clashing; creating upon a resounding eruption that flared up about them. Feathers of light descended, seemingly without a target, for even the caster himself was a victim of it.
  58.
  59. Just like the Invidia, Salthiel responded with calm and patience, summoning upon a massive effort in an attempt to blow Un-wol away.
  60.
  61. Vanishing into a thin mist, the magi appeared beside the Invidia with a pirouette, allowing his staff to crash down upon the older magi.
  62.
  63. However, Un-wol was able to null the attack, sending its tip crashing against the ground. To recover, Salthiel lifted it up once more, but the Baiyan simply brought it down again.
  64.
  65. And with a final clash, he was overpowered by a powerful ripple that sent him away.
  66.
  67. He lost.
  68.
  69. Albeit he was unharmed, but to rush back to battle would be foolish indeed.
  70.
  71. Thus, his voice echoed in response to Un-wol.
  72.
  73. "It matters not. Next time we meet, tell me, are you satisfied?"
  74. (Salthiel Anauel)
