「一連の事件で使用されたグラスゴーの
製造番号を洗ってみたが、いずれも
ブリタニア軍で正式登録されていない機体ばかり…」
Zero: The Glasgows used in this recent string of events have had their serial numbers wiped clean, which means they aren’t machines officially registered in the Britannian army...

ゼロ
「さらに、数十ヵ所の製造工場から
数台ずつが欠番にされていることがわかった。
おそらく、意図的にだ」
Zero: Furthermore, dozens of manufacturing plants have reported several machines gone missing. Perhaps intentionally.

扇
「随分と手が込んでいるな…」
Ohgi: This is all pretty complicated...

ゼロ
「その通り。そんな真似が出来る者…
その指示が出せる者は限られている」
Zero: Exactly. The kind of person who could conduct in this manner... The people who can issue orders like that are limited.

C.C.
「つまり、[ブリタニア」の関係者か」
C.C.: In other words, someone involved with [Britannia].

カレン
「でも、旧式で量産型のグラスゴーって言っても、
それなりのコストが掛かるんでしょ?」
Kallen: But even if you say they’re using outdated mass produced models of the Glasgows, wouldn’t it still cost a considerable amount of resources?

C.C.

「ああ。
しかし、スポンサーがいれば話は変わる」
C.C.: True. However, the story changes if there’s a sponsor involved.

ゼロ
「可能性があるのは、皇族か位の高い貴族だが…
あのような手段で民衆を脅かすことなど、
奴らにとって益はない」
Zero: The possibilities are royalty or high-ranking nobles... But as far as those guys are concerned, things like threatening the general populace is of no benefit to them.

ゼロ
「人の不幸を楽しむ趣味を持った、
死んだことになっている皇族でもいれば別だが…」
Zero: It would be different if there was a Britannian royalty that who reveled in the suffering of others. Perhaps one that was supposed to be dead...

C.C.: ...

(An alarm sounds off.)

「爆弾グラスゴーが出現!
今度は[トウキョウ租界]です!」
Black Knight Member: It’s the Glasgow bombs! Now they’ve appeared in the [Tokyo Settlement]!

カレン
「何ですって!?」
Kallen: No way!

扇
「犯人がブリタニアの関係者なら、
どうしてトウキョウ租界に…!?」
Ohgi: If the criminal is someone involved with Britannia, then why attack the Tokyo Settlement...!?

ヒイロ
「ブリタニアの人間であっても、
自分の国に怒りや恨みを持つ者はいるだろう」
Heero: It seems there may be a Britannian that harbors a grudge against their own country.

ゼロ
「………」
Zero: ...

藤堂
「だが、首謀者は一線を越えた。
今回が本命かも知れん」
Todo: In any case, the mastermind is really crossing the line here. They might be planning to go all out this time.

ゼロ
「その可能性は高い。総員、出撃準備だ」
Zero: The likelihood of that is high. All hands, prepare to engage!

カレン
「了解!」
Kallen: Roger!

(Everyone but Zero and C.C. leave.)

ゼロ
「…C.C.、例の件を実行する」
Zero: ...C.C., it’s time to execute what we talked about.

C.C.
「カッコウの雛が孵ったのか?」
C.C.: So it’s time for the baby bird to hatch?

ゼロ
「ああ。さすが、シュナイゼルだ。
敵ながら信用できる」
Zero: Indeed. He may be our enemy, but Schneizel certainly didn’t fail to deliver.

ゼロ
「それに、これ以上このふざけた遊びに
付き合うつもりはない。武器を持たない人間を
危険に晒すような奴の遊びには、な」
Zero: However, I’ve had enough of this twisted game. This game of trampling upon those who cannot even take up arms.

C.C.
「…わかったよ。
だが、やるからにはきっちり決着を付けろよ」
C.C.: ...I understand. But you had better finish it on time.

(Heero approaches.)

ヒイロ
「ゼロ」
Heero: Zero.

ゼロ
「総員出撃と言ったはずだが…」
Zero: I believe I instructed everyone to prepare for battle...

ヒイロ
「…あの妹がお前の戦う理由か?」
Heero: ...Is your sister your reason for fighting?

ゼロ
「言っている意味がわからんな」
Zero: I don’t know what you mean.

ヒイロ
「………」
Heero: ...

ゼロ
「しかし」
Zero: However...

ヒイロ
「何だ?」
Heero: What?

ゼロ
「誰も傷付かない、優しい世界を実現させる。
そのために俺は戦う。お前もそうじゃないのか?」
Zero: I want to create a gentle world where no one is hurt. That is the reason for which I fight. Is it not the same for you?

(Zero walks away.)

ヒイロ
「………」
Heero: ...

ヒイロ
(誰も傷付かない、優しい世界…)
Heero: (A gentle world where no one is hurt...)

(Scene ends.)

第2話
『ねらわれた学園』

Chapter 2
Targeted Academy

(Battle 1 begins.)

(The Black Knights are fighting Glasgows all over the Tokyo Settlement.)

カレン
「くっ、きりがない!」
Kallen: Grr, it’s endless!

千葉
「ブリタニアが民間人を
避難させているとはいえ…」
Chiba: They aren’t even letting the Britannian civilians take shelter...

朝比奈
「相手の真意がわからないんじゃ、戦いようがない!」
Asahina: How are we supposed to fight if we don’t even know what our opponent is after!?

ヒイロ
(あの敵の動き…。
[アッシュフォード学園]を狙っているのか?
あそこにはルルーシュの妹が…)
Heero: (The enemy’s movements... Are they aiming at [Ashford Academy]? That’s where Lelouch’s sister is...)

(Heero flies in front of a group of Glasgows.)

カレン
「ヒイロ!?」
Kallen: Heero!?

ヒイロ
「やるぞ、ゼロ」
Heero: Let’s go, Zero.

(Heero destroys the Glasgows.)

仙波
「相変わらず、見事な腕だ」
Senba: A splendid showing, as usual.

藤堂
「第二波が来るぞ!」
Todo: Second wave, incoming!

ゼロ
「やはり、本命の作戦…
そう簡単に終わりはしないか」
Zero: As predicted, they’re going all out... Finishing this won’t be easy.

(A notification goes off.)

ト部
「この反応は…白カブトか!」
Urabe: This reaction... It’s the white helmed one!

(Suzaku appears in the Lancelot.)

スザク
「ゼロ、敵の狙いはアッシュフォード学園だ!」
Suzaku: Zero, the enemy’s target is Ashford Academy!

ゼロ
(懸念していた通りか)
Zero: (That confirms it...)

カレン
「学園は避難場所になってる!
このままじゃ、みんなが!」
Kallen: The academy is acting as a shelter! If we don’t do something, they’re all going to--!

ゼロ
「アッシュフォード学園を中心に方円の陣だ。
藤堂と四聖剣は反対側に回れ」
Zero: We’ll form a circle with Ashford Academy at the center. Todo, you and your Four Holy Swords will swing around to the back.

藤堂
「承知した」
Todo: Acknowledged.

(Todo and his unit disappear. Zero, Kallen, and Heero get into position at the top of the map.)

ゼロ
「枢木スザク、こちらの指揮下に入ってもらうぞ」
Zero: Suzaku Kururugi, I’ll need you under my command for now.

スザク
「いいだろう。
アッシュフォード学園には大切な友達がいる」
Suzaku: That’s fine. I have some very important friends at Ashford Academy.

(Suzaku flies into formation with the Black Knights.)

スザク
「ただし、今だけだ」
Suzaku: But remember, this is just temporary.

ゼロ
「了解だ。全機、敵を迎え撃て!」
Zero: Understood. All units, intercept the enemy!

カレン
「ここから先には絶対に行かせない!」
Kallen: We absolutely will not let you get past here!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends.)

カレン
「何とか食い止められた…!」
Kallen: We managed to beat them all back, somehow...!

スザク
(まもなく、警戒のために
各地に出ていた本隊が包囲網を完成させる。
そうすれば、敵はもうナイトメアを送り込めない)
Suzaku: (Soon, the main force will have this area completely surrounded. Then the enemy won’t be able to send out anymore Knightmares.)

ゼロ
(防ぎ切れた?
…いや、そんな容易くは…)
Zero: (Did we really stop them? ...No, this is too easy...)

???
「ふふっ、よく頑張っているじゃないか。
でも、これでどうかな?」
???: Heh heh... That’s some very good perseverance. But, how will you handle this?

(Several more Glasgows appear all over.)

カレン
「増援!?」
Kallen: Reinforcements!?

スザク
「どうやって、あの数のナイトメアをここへ…!」
Suzaku: How did they get so many Knightmares here...!?

ゼロ
(予め地下に潜伏させていた…?)
だとしたら、それが出来る者は
さらに絞られる)
Zero: (Were they concealed underground beforehand...? If so, whoever’s behind this can still put more pressure on us.)

ゼロ
(今回の件…もしや、あいつが…?)
Zero: (Could he be behind this...?)

(Scene ends.)

(Battle 2 begins where it left off.)

カレン
「くっ、こうも数が多いと!」
Kallen: Agh, there’s just so many of them!

スザク
「さすがに分が悪い…!」
Suzaku: It goes without saying, but we’re at a huge disadvantage here...!

ゼロ
「………」
Zero: ...

藤堂
「さらにナイトメアが現れ、
目的地へ辿り着く前に自爆されたら、
被害を食い止められん…!」
Todo: If more Knightmares were to appear and detonate before reaching their destination, we won’t be able to contain the damage...!

ゼロ
(…まだか)
Zero: (...Not yet, huh?)

カレン
「ゼロ、どうすればいいんですか!?」
Kallen: Zero, what should we do!?

ゼロ
(まだなのか?)
Zero: (Still not yet?)

???
「ふふ、そろそろ限界かな。
次が本番だよ、ルルーシュ」
???: Heheh. You’re almost at your limit, aren’t you? It’s time for the real performance, Lelouch.

スザク
「くっ!
しかし、機体が動く限り、僕は!」
Suzaku:  Dammit! But as long as my machine can still move, I...!

ヒイロ
「…敵を排除する!」
Heero: ...Eliminate the enemy!

カレン
「ゼロ!」
Kallen: Zero!

ゼロ
(もう少し…もう少しで…)
Zero: Just a little longer... A little longer...)

(Battle 2 starts.)

藤堂
「ゼロ、仙波の機体が大破した!
戦線から後退させる!」
Todo: Zero, Senba’s machine took heavy damage! I’m having him pull out from the front!

ゼロ
「了解した。
だが、そちらの防衛ラインを下げるな」
Zero: Acknowledged.  But don’t allow your defensive line to falter.

朝比奈
「簡単に言ってくれるけどね…!」
Asahina: You say that like it’s easy...!

(More Glasgows appear.)

カレン
「まだ出て来る!?」
Kallen: There’s still more coming out!?

藤堂
「ゼロ、このままでは戦線が瓦解するぞ!」
Todo: Zero, our front’s going to collapse at this rate!

ゼロ
「………」
Zero: ...

???
「さあ、どうする? マリアンヌの息子!」
???: So, what are you going to do now, son of Marianne?

(Zero System powers on.)

ヒイロ
「ゼロ…?」
Heero: Zero...?

カレン
「どうしたの!?」
Kallen: What’s wrong!?

ヒイロ
「そうか、ゼロ。
ゼロが来るのか」
Heero: So that’s it, Zero. Zero is coming, huh?

(An attack from above wipes out the reinforcements.)

カレン
「え!?」
Kallen: Huh!?

スザク
「! 空からの攻撃!?」
Suzaku: ! An attack from the sky!?

カレン
「いったい、誰が!?」
Kallen: Who the heck is that!?

(A black Wing Gundam Zero lands on the map.)

カレン
「あ、あれは!?」
Kallen: T-that’s...!?

スザク
「黒いウイングガンダムゼロ…!」
Suzaku: A black Wing Gundam Zero...!

ゼロ
「ようやく来たか」
Zero: You finally arrived.

(‘Zero’ takes off her helmet to reveal it was C.C. all along.)

C.C.
「女をこうも待たせるとは…
やはり、なっていない奴だ」
C.C.: Keeping a woman waiting... Honestly, you’re a failure as a man.

カレン
「その声はC.C.!?
じゃあ、あの黒いウイングガンダムゼロに
乗っているのは!」
Kallen: Was that C.C.’s voice!? Then, that black Wing Gundam Zero’s pilot must be...!

ゼロ
「聞け、力無き者を狙う卑怯者よ!
貴様は所詮陰から嫌がらせのような
姑息な手段しか使えない!」
Zero: Hear me, coward who targets the powerless! No longer will you be allowed to use your underhanded tactics from the shadows!

ゼロ
「そんな者に我々[黒の騎士団]は、
このゼロは屈しはしない!」
Zero: I, Zero, and my [Black Knights], shall never yield to you!

　エリア11のトウキョウ租界にある
全寮制名門私立学園。
　中等部と高等部が存在しており、
学生数は非常に多い。

A prestigious, private boarding school located in the Tokyo Settlement of Area 11.
As it includes grades between middle and senior high school, it has a particularly high amount of students.


トウキョウ租界

登場作品	コードギアス　反逆のルルーシュ

　ブリタニアの植民エリアとなった後の東京。
　租界とはブリタニア人の直轄地域であり、行政も
ブリタニアの手で行われるため、政庁が置かれる。

Tokyo Settlement

From:		Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

The new iteration of Tokyo, after it was colonized by Britannia.
As it is under direct control of Britannia, it has no self-administration, and no government office.
