Background: Eunchae was born in Copenhagen to her Korean father and Chinese-Danish mother. Growing up she was surrounded by music as her mother always sang at the bakery she owned and her father would always show Eunchae and her siblings different genres of music to get them interest. At first Eunchae always wanted to become an interior designer, as that was the job her mother got after finishing work in the bakery, but once she began to get more into music she realised she wanted a career in it. When they moved to Busan she was 13 and that was when she discovered kpop. Once she saw how hard these idols worked to get where they were she instantly made up her mind to become an idol. Everyday she practiced and worked hard, hoping one day she would be good enough to audition for a company. 2 years later, she began to dance and sing on the streets and was confronted by many people telling her to audition for a company, and in the end she took their advice and auditioned.
