  3. SU Podium V2 Plus is a photo-realistic rendering plug-in for SketchUp. SU Podium will turn your SketchUp model into a photo-real image. SU Podium V2 Plus employs advanced rendering technology but sticks to it’s original intention of making photo-realistic rendering for SketchUp an easy and rewarding task. The user interface is simply and does not require advanced knowledge of rendering techniques.

  5. SU Podium uses ray tracing and global illumination to create photo-realistic images. Although the user does not have to be aware of what technology is being used, it’s important to note that you can obtain high quality images with realistic reflection and lights, quickly. SU Podium uses multi-threading of your CPU so much of the rendering process will use all your processors (Dual/ Quad/ Eight). SU Podium V2 Plus also supports 64 bit as well 32 bit, Windows or Mac operating systems.

  8. • V2 Plus is a free major upgrade with several new features with the goal of improving the quality and ease of SU Podium.
  9. • V2 Plus introduces Podium Image Editor to allow for quick post processing inside SketchUp (editing of your rendered image.)
  10. • For those who want to tweak their Podium presets to get more control of light bounces, tone mapping, etc., Podium Preset Editor is an intuitive way to create your own presets.
  11. • Advanced material properties for metallic materials have been added.
  12. • New Physical Sky2 option for better evening and early morning sky colors.
  13. • Tools has been updated so you can specifically remove certain material properties.
  14. • EditInPlace has been integrated with Podium V2 Plus.
  15. • New User Interface based on native Windows or Mac - no more blank dialog boxes.
  16. • Material UI new features - DTR 100% info. Hidden LEM are 100% transparent.
  17. • Render All now works in Windows
  18. • Two new presets have been added
  19. • Supports SketchUp 8 and 2014 (also 2013 for Mac)
  20. • For Windows, currently requires Window 7 or 8 and 32/ 64 bit
  21. • Upgrade is free for SU Podium V2 users.
  22. • V2 will continue to be available for SketchUp 7 and SketchUp 2013 customers.
