  1. Guys I just realized with VR Gaming means in terms of games that already exist. Okay get this, imagine playing a game of pool that isn't bounded by a square but a cube! You can bank shots off the ceiling and the floor and it's in 3D!

  4. Is the ball suspended in mid air?
  5. Diego • 39 mins
  6. yea
  7. all the balls have x y and z coordinates and the pockets are... somewhere
  8. 37 mins
  9. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  10. Cubic Pool could have 8 pockets
  11. Diego • 36 mins
  12. hmm I think it shoud have middle pockets
  13. 36 mins
  14. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  15. Christ, this would have to rely entirely on bank shots in order to move in a third dimension.
  16. Or make gravity in the middle
  17. Diego • 35 mins
  18. no you can hit the cue ball from any angle
  19. dude! the break balls start in a tetrahedron
  20. !
  21. 35 mins
  22. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  23. Yes, but you're in a 3-dimensional cube. You need to be able to move in 3-dimensions
  24. Diego • 34 mins
  25. in vr you can,,,
  26. I think
  27. 34 mins
  28. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  29. You can through a ball horizontally
  30. But gravity moves in vertically
  31. There needs to be some kind of gravity
  32. Diego • 33 mins
  33. why?
  34. 33 mins
  35. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  36. Because then you're only shooting balls in one direction
  37. In a 3 dimensional field
  38. Diego • 33 mins
  39. what about if there where obstacles besides the other balls like in wow its called bumper pool
  40. also I don't see what you mean by only one dimension.
  41. 31 mins
  42. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  43. I guess I'm thinking about hitting the balls in a weird way
  44. Which, by the way, how do you make your way around a ball?
  45. Diego • 30 mins
  46. idk I need to watch a VR dev lecture or 100
  47. what about like you pov is the cue ball
  48. and you can rotate yourself or the "universe" around you so set up the shot
  49. like if i wanted to shoot what statred as down, I coud bring it to eye level
  50. 28 mins
  51. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  52. Now that could work, I think
  53. Diego • 28 mins
  54. or we keep the view fixed and that's part of the chalange
  55. 28 mins
  56. Diego Quevedo (diegoqvdus@gmail.com)
  57. I kind of like the idea of shifting the camera around with your hands
  58. Diego • 27 mins
  59. dam I wish I could program games in an emerging section of the video game industry!
