Hears a conversation from around a mile away

The group of heroes remained silent for a moment, each one intensely locked onto the planet so far away. From its valleys and rivers to its plateaus and buttes, they searched it all. Hesitantly, Krillin was the first to speak.

"...I...don't sense anything. Guys? What about you?"

"Nothing here," Tien said.

"I can't feel Cell, dad," Gohan said hopefully. The boy was probably the most relaxed of any of them.

"And all the Namekians seem to be perfectly unharmed," added Piccolo.

But they still weren't confident. Each one remembered being in this same position before...not being sure whether Cell was actually defeated. The nervous waiting, not knowing whether they were truly safe, was almost as bad as actually fighting the monster. They all knew their terrible foe could potentially reappear at any moment.

'They really think I'm gone, don't they? Pathetic.'

Cell was concealed less than a mile away, listening intently with his Namekian hearing.

'What listless rabble. They're so concerned about what is thousands of miles away that they miss the true terror lurking right under their noses.'
