- Description: Avery was smoking marijuana in his garage with Cuentas, when a gunman (Waters) approached and tried to rob Avery. When he fought back, he was shot, with the gunman taking the money and fleeing. Avery’s “friend” Cuentas set up the robbery with Waters, initially pretending to be a victim.
