Max% No Chores RTA FAQ

Q: What is the max% for this run?

A: Using the logic on my spreadsheet for calcuating the percentage, it comes out to 89%.

Q: What can't you get still in this run?

A: You cannot obtain 5 furniture due to them being locked behind Nook only contest codes, those being the 5 giveawy NES game codes. 2 Items in the Items category cannot be obtained due to them being golden tools, the golden net and golden axe. You can't catch a mosquito before doing chores because it always despawns and you can't get the golden axe because Farley doesn't spawn until completing chores (you can get the perfect town ratig however but this doesn't do anything). Because of all that as well as other restrictions, you can only complete one of the 8 main goals for 100%, that being All Fish.

Q: How can you catch bugs & fish without buying them from Nooks??

A: There's a 1/100 chance a random tool will show up in the police station making it possible to get all the standard tools, it's just really rare to get them all but with enough time traveling it isn't that difficult.

Q: What do you need to do this run?

A: The only additional things you need are a GBA and the Link Cable to access the island. As the island is the only place where it can rain during chores making it possible to catch the snail and coelacanth. Everything else can be gotten via villager codes/e-reader cards.

Q: Why not just generate a code for the golden tools you can't get?

A: Even if you could, that would be against the main 100% rules stating you cannot enter codes for the golden tools so I'm banning that for this run too.

Q: How long will this take?

A: I don't know. If I had to guess maybe 20 hours? But we'll see once I'm done testing.
