"My sister decided to actually try and fight. So it appears. That my siblingly duties are. In action." they state half assedly. They contemplated on whether or not to actually to step into the fight for Himari. After all she was the one talking with balls large enough to suffocate an elephant.

So. Ai simply steps forward, close enough to get involved should things get out of hand. But far enough for their sister to perhaps not notice immediately given she was focused on the lad ahead.

[22:10] "I tried, kid. If you ain't leaving by good will, I'll be inviting you out."

At the beckon, Ciarán's whole form is enveloped in a sea of blaze, scorching the sand beneath the clashing duo's feet and giving a fair start to the next stage of the roughhouse.

They didn't seem to radiate any manner of intense heat, but rather, stuck to the form of his body similarly to an adherent, additional layer of living tissue, bolstering his physical capabilities if only slightly.

It was obvious, however, he would not utilize brutal violence against a child, despite only being a teenager himself. His following motion is not a strike, but rather, a grapple- a motioning hand skillfully darts towards Himari's collar, in an attempt to take hold of it and forcefully yank her out of the scene- and most likely of Sudbury.

[22:10] Stepping into the arena there was an aura of intimidation. His mana began to well within his body as his concentration rose! His senses were now dialed in on the fight as his amber hues narrowed down on Caesar.

"I didn't want to have to do this but.. You're trying to beat up my sister.. My own flesh and blood." He said with a angered tone. Stepping forward Caesar could swear he felt a cold chill run down his spine.. Was it the illusion magic already taking place? Or was it Shinji's brimming confidence.. They'd soon find out! He leapt into action and began to fight in order to defend his sister.

"Aki! Take Asuka and Himari home! I'll handle this!" He said as he rushed in.

[22:11] Jotun says, "Now I'm not making any suggestions or nothing, but that Shinji fella looks like he's right fucked."

[22:13] Asuka Kurokaiyo says, "Just wait ... Shinji's got this."
[22:13] Shinji Kurokaiyo exclaims, "Hurt her?.. You won't be hurting anybody! Not with me around!!"

[22:13] Caesar Fantasia says, "Tsk, tsk, tsk.."
[22:13] Ciarán says, "Oi... we only want 'em out of here. No maiming."
[22:13] Ita lowers her hand from her weapon, nodding gratitude but also looking a little...peeved. She waits on standby. Best to not be a speedbump if things get ugly.

[22:14] Jotun says, "Hey, if Caesar kills the poor bastard, I got dibs on his threads. Just want y'all to know."
[22:14] Ita says, "No...No killing."
[22:14] Mathias cracked his knuckles and moved over beside 'Kaguya' as he came to know her, watching the fight unravel before them, and another confrontation between her look-alike sister and another male. He could see her tense up, her focus rising. Deep inside the desire to fight more than likely. He could sense it since his first encounter with her, and will likely see more.

He simply folded his arms and watched, waiting to see what would unfold before making any sort of moves. He didn't want violence to erupt, but would not hesitate in likely assisting his new employee- or someone of innocence if he found them to be.

[22:14] Arlo Waters says, "None of that in this turf. That should be obvious."
[22:15] Seeing the motion, Himari would let her amber hues rest on him while her aimed to grip at her shoulder. That would only initiate her to take her fist once more and channel her energy within it to send it towards his face.

"Mind Distortion."

A strike to the jaw that would implant mana through his head causing his mind to see a flurry of random but mind boggling images to give him a bit of a daze. It wouldn't last long, but she aimed to defend herself.

[22:15] Mathias Adimaros says, "No murdering, thank you."
[22:15] Flint Westman says, "Mhmmm. Keep it civil."
[22:16] Kirai had sensed a disturbance, as if something was very wrong. And indeed, he was right. He went looking for his children and after asking around a bit, found them.

Brawling in the slums, like they were nothing more than mere thugs.

Asuka was here, shouting vulgarly.

Shinji was here, fighting some young man with an afro.

Aki was watching all of it, evidently having failed to dissuade them.

Even Himari was involved, seeming prepared to get her hands dirty.

Kirai's smile grew... tight. Very, very tight. It was straining to remain on his face, his mask of a kind, patient father slipping more and more by the moment.

For now? For now he stands back and watches, waiting to see the outcome of these fights before he decided how to respond to the entire mess.

Then, he heard someone mention killing. His eye twitches, and the air immediately around him seems to grow a little more dense. Not so much heavier, as thicker. As ifit were a viscious fluid.

It was a very minor effect, for the moment, but if things escalated... Well, he didn't mind teaching an uppity slum dwelling rat a lesson.

[22:17] Caesar wasn't a barbarian, and all this guy was doing was trying to protect his sister. Thus, the post-fight beatdown wouldn't be too terrible. He picks up Shinji by the skull, chucking him into the dummy like he was just yesterday's trash, sauntering towards Asuka. "Your brother got embarrassed trying to defend you. If you had any type of heart, you'd fight for his honor. If you try and run away, you're nothing but a dirty coward that doesn't deserve his care at all."

[22:17] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "Well, Asuka. What do you have to say for yourself?"
[22:17] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "Will you fight?"
[22:17] I saw who I knew to be none other then Aiyamari and immediately I went over towards him and gave him a big warm hug. I was so happy to see him today after all that happened. I had almost began to think something had happened to the boy.

"There you are Aiya. I've been wondering where you were all day. Are you feeling any better. I have a surprise for you. I got us a house, and I have a job to bring some money in for us. We now have a roof over our heads and food to eat."

I'd pull myself a way a bit to make eye contact with him and smile before laying my head against his chest.

"You really had me worried."

[22:17] The battle comes to a conclusion and Melody plays Caesar a victory fanfare, as she always did for the victors of their respective fights. The battle was quite an exciting one, though. Still, Melody felt conflicted. Asuka was definitely the cause of all of this, though was she on her side or not?

Why did everything get so confusing today?

"So what happens now? Does he fight-"

Before she could collect her thoughts, more fighting! That means more fighting MUSIC.

The bard continued to play her battle theme.

[22:17] With the defeat of her brother, Myrddraal glanced back over his shoulder and smirked smugly at Asuka, yet remained quiet for a moment. They were so sure that they were going to waltz in here and trounce anyone who said anything about how weak they were perceived to be, but after a few moments he inquired, "Not as easy as you'd originally thought, hm? Let me know when you're ready for you and I to take the field."

[22:18] Flint nods to Caesar at his victory. He kept his arms crossed and had a slight grin on his face at Caesar's restraint - He was glad he wouldn't have to put Caesar on a bounty board or something. HE just hope the fights stayed Civil.

"Good going, Caesar."

He then continued to watch the crowds to make sure no one go too out of hand. His eyes landed on Jotun and he glared at him for a few moments due to his mention of killing, but didn't say anything. It was just banter and he didn't seem to be trying to actively fight.

[22:19] Watching the fights break out that she caused gave her a rush of excitement ..

There was no need for any of it at all, it was just dumb violence-- All a test for her to be able to enact hysteria, to truly see what makes people tick and how to enrage them appropriately ..

That alone, was satisfaction enough. And why not give the crowd what they've been waiting for?

"Of course I'll fight!!" with no hesitation whatsoever, and spoke eagerly ..

[22:21] Myrddraal asks, "Care to let me take the first crack at her?"

[22:21] Once again, the battle came to a conclusion and Melody played the victory fanfare for Himari.

"So uh... Is anyone keeping track of all of this? Are we doing this tournament style?"

That was when she heard Asuka speak. She seemed to have a knack for getting interrupted. Again, Melody shrugged, and resumed the fighting music, choosing a different brand of theme to keep things original.

"If you're really sure about that, Asuka. It was nice knowin' 'ya."

[22:22] Caesar Fantasia says, "I will fight her first, and get her out of here."
[22:22] Laying on the ground from the fight he was embarrassed completely.. All for the sake of helping his sister NOT fight.. He clenched a fist tightly.

"Damn it.. Asuka." He said quietly to himself as he lay in the dirt.. Rolling over he then noticed his father.. He then closed his eyes and decided to rest for the time being. At this rate he wasn't going to be making ANY friends.

[22:23] Mathias rubbed his face, watching her move forward and deeper into the crowd, he stepping forward himself an eyebrow rising quizzically as he watched, the fight continuing and the crowd becoming more riled up. Another fight seeming to erupt from the girl who was screaming the initial insults and challenges. They really came looking to peck a fight.

"You guys seriously here to insult people and fight? I mean, I'm always down for a good brawl I suppose. What was that wager?" He asked aloud, giving a confident grin. His arms unfolded, his body going more at ease as he relaxed. He was hoping the situation didn't escalate beyond civil duels.

[22:31] Yami looked around and realized this place had grown since he'd last fought. His record was four wins in a row. Would anyone else break his record? Was it already broken? He had no clue, but he wanted to know more!

He hears his father speak about some bet, he was wagering 600 coins?! For what?! The boy listens in and then confirms what the coin was for. He looks at himari and whom they were facing. Seems like they were the ones fighting. Yami smiles and then raises his hands to cheer.

"GOOOOOO HIMA!" He roared.

He wanted to make sure their fighting spirit was awakened. This was a real good area for practicing their techniques after all. The boy couldn't wait to see who was up next.

[22:31] A heavy weight that also held a heavy burden

Mana and sweat trickled from Himari's skin. Forehead and all. She couldn't tell if it was herself straining through the power that she held or the heat that came from the male's flames.

Fire.

A magic she hasn't gone up against yet adapted pretty well against. It probably the instinct that she felt within her that said keep away from fire. But here, she charged right in the midst of the flames to land her attacks swiftly and dangerously. Taking a risk that came with a reward. A simple push that she needed was this. A battle that had its seriousness to it. That's what it felt like.

"Distortion Breathing..."

Amber irises begin to fade as her eyelids slowly close. Her breathing beginning to switch towards her mouth.Spilling inside her lungs and leaking out in short intervals. Her body moved quickly, leaving gusts of wind in her wake. Avoiding fireballs and flame waves in succession while whiffing away fireballs that came in close proximity with her that a mana wrapped arm.

Soon, her fist would gradually hold mana within it. Illusionary a hint of gravity giving it the weight that it needed to make a change in the fight. Her foot stepped into the ground hard and pushed her quickly forward towards her opponent.

"A fist that destroys the mind! Nerve Distortion!" she shouted, appearing out of the flames the boy produced and would soon land her strike right into his head in a right hook. A strike so hard that it'd leave him dazed and having him sent to the ground skidding across the dirt and sand, defeated.

Himari would move her body as she floated temporarily through the air and land on the ground. Stopping herself, she'd stand straight and look at the red-haired male with an unimpressed expression written on her visage.

"Your invitation wasn't received. Not get out of my sight before I throw you out farther than you can imagine."

[22:32] Ai's eyes came to a slow blink as random physical contact had come along. It was surprising, however rather than go immediately on the offensive, the Kurokaiyo stared down at the humanoid. Realizing it was indeed Amy.

"The way you said that. Sounds very strange. But. Thank you." The hug isn't returned, after all. Ai wasn't all that affectionate to people. Not at all in fact, even if the girl was a friend, the hug would not be responded to with the same energy.

"I have also found employment. Though I'd prefer to keep such out of public eyes." Asuka was a cousin no doubt, naturally Ai hadn't too much contact with the young girl and being the case, there would be no white knighting from this Kurokaiyo this day. However. Eyes lock onwards to Himari's battle, the Twin follows each and every single movement. Twitching periodically as if synchronizing with the twin.

When the young girl utilized the illusion magic, the way she deftly weaved out of the way of several incoming attacks and blitzed away flames.

"My sister is involved with this." Ai says passively.

Step by step the teen enters the battle field. Bare feet parting the sands as they stand side by side by their twin sister.

"I don't too much care about the others, Mathias. But no one will be jumping this one." It was genetics for such a thing to transpire. For Ai prepared to fight not for the Kurokaiyo. But only for Himari.
(Aiyamari Kurokaiyo)

[22:32] Flames flicker around his body, converging right at his finger tip as he dramatically points his index finger at Asuka. "Sudbury has dealt with corrupt, overzealous knights who enjoy nothing more than abusing their power on the poor, and nobles who enjoy the same thing as well. We will not tolerate more people trying to act like they're better than us just because of where they're born! We've got enough problems around here!" The flames around his finger expand wildly, circling around Caesar like a maelstrom.

"Family is one of the most important things in life, but they also may have the tendency of being too soft on you. I'll be the one to teach you to have some respect for those less fortunate for you, and not to mess with others just for your sick, twisted little games! Che la battaglia abbia inizio!"

Strange hand gestures were woven at a blinding speed as the wild flames around him began to take shape, raining a series of flaming bullets right at Asuka. At the same time, Caesar bounces into the air like an eagle, pulling off a quadruple cartwheel before bringing his leg down on his opponent's head with all the strength he could muster. "Goccia di ghigliottina!"

[22:32] Jarin joins the crowd, shadowing into the background with his best attempt to go unnoticed. He didn't want to interrupt whatever lesson seemed to be taking place at the current moment. For now, he just settles in place, observing with a greenish tome in hand.

"I wonder what's going on."
He says in a hushed tone, quiet and hopefully unheard.

[22:33] Stepping into the pool of fires she had started-- Asuka approached with a wicked look in her eyes.

The dust would bellow and swirl, small wisp-like tornados from the beaten up sand would spiral in the air and cover the field.

.. When the dust was settled, it was only Caesar Fantasia, and Asuka, looking dead center at each other.

If one was observant-- They could see a light hue in her pupils .. The spark would quickly fade, however.

"I have to thank you-- Really. I'm SO happy with what you've helped me do." She spoke with a shit-eating grin. The warped smile would curl into her sweet cheekbones as she would wait patiently to see just how far she could piss off the Slums.

Asuka takes her fighting stance-- Despite the comments and bickering, she seemed calm and collected, even with the barrage of taunts thrown at her ..

[22:34] Soren whispers something.
[22:34] As Ciarán's body reeled and tumbled across the ground, he held a tight pinch on the frame of his left leg, as the intensity of the beatdown made way for a profuse bleeding to stem from the gash that slit across it.

As the barrage of psychic assails him, there is little more to do but coat his uppers in a protective layer of fire, molding it into a hard-light shield that, hopefully, will bend before it breaks.

As Himari's fist finally connects, however, he squirms and grits his teeth, enduring the brief, surging wave of agony that momentarily struck his nerves.

"what the actual fuck?"

Rising from the ground, he spat minute moor of blood to the side- thankfully, no teeth conjoined the motion.

"I'm beaten but I'm still home. Y'couldn't get me out of here if you wanted."

[22:35] For a moment, Nerin observed what's been going on ahead; it isn't clear to him for what reason all of this is going on, other than the fact that this seems to be one of those days in the slums where people are fighting - a glance is given to the City Watch nearby.

Hm. Perhaps this is a duel, if nothing is done - or at least that's what he thinks.

[22:38] As much as I couldn't stand the sight of unnecessary violence, even I was curious as to how well Aiya could perform in combat. And I guess by the looks of it I was soon to have that answer. Up until now, I hadn't seen any of the four people present fight so I was still at a lost as to what their full potential was.

"Just please be careful everyone. You don't need to hurt yourselves over something like this. It isn't worth it."

I knew very well how the people of the slums acted. Often resorting to violence to solve their problems and a part of me couldn't blame them since that's all they knew. There wasn't anyone around to advocate for them properly in a civilized manner and with little to no money to their name they did what they did best. Cause hell.

[22:39] Yami shakes his head, what was going on? Aiyamari talking about someone being jumped? What exactly was.. this? He looks and inches a bit closer, then he decides to ask Bas for some information.

"So uhh, what's going on here Bas?"

The boy then pulls out some old pieces of paper, he was reading over some notes. The boy was looking at a small ugly picture of the Time Force Stein had told him about, it was everywhere like air. He needed a way to harness it and bend it to his will.

Only then could he move about freely as he desired, creating clones of himself through after images and the techniques his father taught. He couldn't wait to achieve something grand.

He then turns his attention to the two fighting in the field, that's the guy who wanted to fight earlier. Seems like he found a good match didn't he? Asuka looked like they were doing well until they fell, but he had hope in them.

"GOOOO ASUKAAAAA!"

He roared.

This was a chant right? The kind that powered you up!

There wasn't any need for anyone else to step in, hopefully, and so he took his leave. You could only watch so much fighting before it got dull after all.

[22:42] Mathias simply watched, not really following the battle too much. He wanted to have a go, but it seemed the entire crowd wanted their opportunity and he wasn't going to bud in the middle of it. He folded his arms, finding a short female in the front row to stand behind to he had a good view- only to note the person beside her moving away, so he took the space.

Folding his arms and focusing more on the fight now, he watched intently, cheering for neither in his mind to be quite honest. Asuka was rowdy and rude, and Caesar he did not know, aside from him being part of one of his tenants- he thinks.

Still, should violence erupt further into something beyond civil duels, he'd need to step in to stop it- the value of Sudbury was low enough. Peace and safety needed to become a priority in his eyes.

[22:42] Tyr returned to home before long, but what catches him off guard is that, for whatever reason it might be, there was a large amount of people, and they all happened to be dueling, too. He's never seen that much activity at home, let alone to this extent, and for one reason or the other, he's a bit.. concerned. For starters, some of these people weren't even of the hard peasantry like he was, and now he's wondering if they were trying to simply just make this a fighting pit.

On one hand, maybe it could bring some money to this area for something better, and on the other, it could mean that richer folks would end up perpetuating themselves here, and that was never good. So he bothers to ask, to no one in particular since he didn't even know anyone, but. . .

Akira knew that the gap in ages would make for a very difficult fight. He was still proud of his sister for fighting an unwinnable battle. She got just as much praise as Himari! "Great attempt Asuka!"

"I can't say you didn't have it coming, Asuka."

She sighed, finally tucking away her harp.

All these magi storming through the slums may as well have been kids. He was just nineteen, but.. but still! These people stomping each other's faces in looked four years younger than him!

Chewing his cheeks, he stood back, shoved his hands into his coat pockets, and watched the show. Might as well enjoy the trainwreck this place was turning into..

A sight like this wasn't rare for the denizens of Sudbury. The main attraction was the large family of Jiang-dressed foreigners. Who the fuck were they?

Although it was hard to keep up the urchin dilligently watched each and every fight, taking mental notes of every detail she was capable of remembering.

Though it was clear that Asuka didn't have a chance in this. However Aki stood by silently watching who else would be fighting in the fields unless all of this was over now since the master mind behind this entire scene was now dealt with.

Aki did find it a good time to see her way out from being beaten potentially so she would look at her wrist pretending to look at an invisible watch. "Ahh man...look at the time. Aki turned on her heel and prepared to leave! Hopping Kirai didn't see her attempt in trying to leave.

[22:45] Yami watched Asuka get swept. The boy felt bad but, at least they did their best! He now waited patiently to see who would be going in next. The young boy wondered if his brother Akira would join the fray.

If Yami had to learn from this, it was that he should probably try and rush in and finish Caesar before he could do anything. Although, that was a pretty difficult task if the opponent was an adult, and fire magic was really powerful. There were a few options when it came to combating fire, it was either to destroy the casters hands, or knock them out before they could turn things around.

Fire users could easily burn everything around and watch you writhe in pain.. It's not something Yami would want to be trapped in for sure.

"Imagine a ring of fire and trying to fight inside of if while the flow was simultaneously set on fire.. That's cool, scary, but cool..."

He thought about it for some time before looking back into the crowd. Whohad just arrived? Who had left? People watching was something he liked to do to pass time.

[22:46] Kirai turns to look a the young man standing next to him. Kirai's mood was already poorly, and he ran his tongue across his teeth.

With that, he'd look back at the fight between Asuka and the so called Afro-samurai.

[22:46] Caesar didn't really want to feel like the bad guy here, but with this girl's incessant tauntings, maybe a beating was exactly what she needed to turn her life around. Powerful flames knock her to the ground with their intensity, but he wasn't done quite yet. Each step he takes closer to the fallen lady fills the air with his menacing heat as he snatches the girl up by her hair, hoisting her in the air. "Hope you learn to go ahead and treat people with respect, next time. You're disgracing your family acting like this- and I really know you parents ain't raise you to act like a fuckin' fool."

Flames converge around his fists as he pistons his hand forward like a bullet, smashing it into her nose in what seemed like an endless barrage of punches, aiming to leave her face looking black and blue. It'd be easily healed by even the most basic of healing magic, but the point was to leave a message- and with the final blow, he uppercuts her right into a nearby tree. "Arrivederci!"

His eyes scan the crowd for more of her family members, wondering if they'd try to fight him as well.

[22:48] Tyr sighed, and as he'd expect, nobody heard him - they were all busy in their bustling disarray over the conclusion of the battle, and while he might've been interested, he simply wasn't paying attention close enough for that. The dingy boy rubs his nape was that grimy, dirty hand of his with a sigh, then looks ahead.

It wasn't until Jotun responded to him that he looked over, and, thankfully enough, the reasoning for this fight was something that actually didn't sound too bad to hear. A peasant sticking it to a noble was always something worth hearing, and now he peers in the direction of it.

Brought into the dirt-- She falls defeated, with a satisfying thud. From all the commotion she caused, it was clear that this was the rightful end-- A foe being defeated by the heroic victor of the slums! Battle of class, showing that the people of the slums were hearty folk, who valued respect and decency above all else.

For a moment-- They saw her as the enemy, as a Noble.

And that opulence is all the more extravagant with these numbers that it has attracted.

All publicity is GOOD publicity.

". . ." Asuka says nothing as she lays in the dirt, defeated. Her ungraceful showboating has landed her in a heap of trouble, as she takes her experiment way too far. Getting up slowly, she would fold to her knees, and dust off her kimono.

Standing up slowly, she would still hold an awfully wicked smile, despite her bruised and lightly scratched face, dust patches covering her fair skin.

As she smiles and looks towards Caesar, she opens her mouth to shit-talk once more.

"Thank you for the match."

.. She spoke calmly, and nothing more.
.. The glint in her eye was back ..
.. Caesar would feel a light headache as Asuka would retreat ..

Soren waves a hand dismissively, pushing off of the tree and shuffling around Flint to make his way off.

"Since Soiree's passing, I've been worried that the nobles and those more fortunate would start imposing their will on those here in Sudbury. But with people like Caesar around...?" His voice trails off as he glances over to the aforementioned fire magi, "I think the Slums will continue to grow and rise above."

Spirited commentary coming from one so young, but the Watchman had seen plenty in his short time around.

"I'll be going to study more. I have my doctor certification coming up soon, and I don't think she'll settle for anything less than a perfect score."

The older watchman that could probably be Soren's older sibling at this point is given a light pap to the chest before the Wave Rookie departs.

Why?

Akira is timid, shy, awkward, and pretty much a living doormat. There was one thing he couldn't stand for though. It was people intentionally hurting those he loves for a reason that he himself couldn't understand. While experiencing these moments he often falls into a trance his body doing whatever.

He doesn't really get control either.

It was without warning, the child would act on the drop of a dime. Appearing from behind his brother he bolts over to the fantasia. His heart pounding as he leaps, a move snatched from the book of Julius as he aims to kick Caesar in the forehead.

If you were to get a good look at Akira you'd notice that he didn't look happy at all. In fact he wanted to actually harm this man. Due to his clouded judgement he didn't take into account the large age gap and all that mess so he'd probably walked into a very big mistake. But again he couldn't stand and watch those he cared for lose and be humiliated. He found the courage deep within to face his fears.

[22:55] I couldn't help but feel bad for Asuka after she just got beaten like that in front of Sudbury. Certainly with her being a higher up and the man being nothing but a slum-dweller, she'd look bad for losing to him. My olive eyes closed for awhile to give them a rest and try to zone out all of the chaos and noise that was flooding the area.

"I wish the people here could find better hobbies then fighting. That stuff gets played out very fast. Like there's no way that people should only be able to fight or watch fighting to be entertained. That's very said."

As much as I loved and felt for the people of Sudbury at times they really did act like a bunch of savages for no logically reason. Maybe some of the nobles were right to keep away from them.

He saw upstart kids who cared less about their futures than a couple of brawls in the dirt. An adult or two who should've known better, or at least, enough to teach the kiddies. There weren't any elderly. People usually didn't live long enough to get old in Sudbury, and magi were no exception.

The fights were good, he had to admit. These kids were fast. But if they wanted to go anywhere, they'd need a job and connections. None of them got that. So much potential and all they wanted to do was see who could eat dirt the fastest. Another contender moved forward; another shady-looking Sudbury-somebody. He lost interest.

"Fek it," he mumbled. "I've got work."

He turned and left.

He jerked his head back and made a funny face, unsure of what exactly was going on, then turned his gaze back to the field. Another male of the house had entered to face Caesar.

"Ooh, looks like it's not quite over yet." He remarked, truly enjoying the show they had been putting on.

[22:58] Flint nods towards Soren. He agreed with him - People like Caesar would keep Sudbury Relevant and not crushed under the weight of the System. Hopefully. He then glanced towards the field and noticed another Challenger. Damn, how many times would Caesar have to fight?

"Mhmm. Good luck with your studies. I hope you get a perfect score. We do need more medics around.... I was trying to find a medic for some rioters earlier and just couldn't find one." He then stops and continues to speak "You'll have to tell me how Soiree died, eventually. I still haven't gotten the story on that, though Lionel mentioned it."

He then turned and continued to watch the crowd as he waved Soren Goodbye.

[22:58] Ai crosses their eyes and purses their lips. A rare display of an attempt of making Himari laugh with the sheer randomness and out of character act. After such a face, the girl's nose is released, and the stone expression returns.

"Mmm. Soon. I'll have armor to give you." a hand eventually dips within their pocket as they actually take the time to observe Akira's match.

A more favored cousin than the rest.

[22:58] Caesar glances at Asuka, frowning. He knew that she didn't learn anything at all from that beating. "Whoever your parents are..I'll pray for them every night. Either they'll change you, or you'll end up six feet under." Just as he thinks everything is over and done with though, someone's aiming a flying kick right at him! It was like Caesar couldn't get a break, but honestly..?

The adrenaline was getting to him. That excited grin forms on his face as he relishes the fact that he gets to test his abilities on a variety of opponents. It was like a child waking up on Christmas! Flames lash out to absorb the incoming strike, as Caesar stares down Akira like a tiger hunting his prey. "Another one? What the hell is your family's problem? It's like you baboons don't care who's right or wrong.."

Cracking his knuckles, he allows his aura to flare out even further. "I didn't know Soiree much besides the fact she had some pretty shitty perfume, but she genuinely wanted to protect the slums. Guess I'll take up that mantle for her." And just like that, he kicks forward in a burst of flames!

[22:59] Jericho whispers something.
[22:59] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Well whatever you say."
[22:59] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Akira, destroy them."
[22:59] Tyr understood now. It was just people liking a show that the afro-headed one had put on for everybody, and he didn't quite mind that in the slightest; it was reason enough. He'd probably smirk, but instead, he's just scrutinizing the scene in worry more than anything. What Asuka said, as brief as it was, felt like it was more bad than good. She didn't yell, complain or anything of the sort - she just. . .smiled. That was likely a herald of something awful to come if her smile was any deadly than what her, a noble, might be capable of.

He squints hard at her now, brought to an unease. After what happened with Naki and the rest of those in Sudsbury, he was on edge, and it's clear with the way he was looking around for any possible seize.

Then they started fighting again. Another one, came to fight again. He looks forward, intrigued.

[23:01] Tokiwa Bestar says, "quite a few people down in the slums today."
[23:01] Melody asks, "If someone else going to jump in after this?"

[23:01] Mathias kept his gaze firm on the field, but couldn't help but overhear someone's death. A murder? He thought, unsure of the exact details, but the other guards reply made it sound like something gruesome. Dangerous people or things were about he thought, and it would be wise for them to remain on focused guard. Who knew what could happen.

Still, as Caesar bested fighter after fighter, he couldn't help but feel some level of pride. The residents of the Slums' weren't half-bad people, most of them just tried to get by in life and do their best to survive. Still, he drew in a deep breath, watching the mage surround himself in fire once more.

"Not bad..." He said aloud. "This guy's really kicking some ass."

[23:01] Melody says, "At this point, they're fighting for the sake of fighting."
[23:01] Jotun says, "That kid's finished -- lights out. I feel bad for his parents."
[23:02] Kirai's head swivels to stare down at Aki. His smile having flat-lined by this point. As his eyes fall on her, he'd exert a small portion of his power as he takes in a deep breath.

They'd both be rooted in place as he concentrated, and in her minds eye? She suddenly found herself at the center of a large body of water as black as ink rather than the solid ground they stood on.

For a moment, it would seem as if she could stand upon it's surface without much effort. And then?

Then, a hand, a pale hand with black scales along it's wrist would reach forth to grasp her and pull her under, into the depths where she would feel as if she were suffocating, being dragged deeper than deeper.

Then, as Kirai exhaled, she'd snap back to reality, once again under the weight of normal gravity.

[23:02] Yami overhears someone has passed, another person in such a short time. That was crazy, it only goes to prove that Magi's die every day B. The young magi shook his head and bowed in respect for their passing.

His eye raises as his brother approaches Caesar without saying a word. What had gotten into him? The boy looks now and inches closer. What was his brother about to get into.. He was confused but not too much. He was hoping his brother knew what he was doing.

He doesn't speak, he just hopes Akira would land every single one of his techniques. He watches intently and realizes his brother had learned water magic. That was interesting to know, that's what he meant earlier when he said he learned magic!

There was a bit of concern once he'd observed Caesar pelting his brother with blows that he didn't seem to be taking too well.

[23:02] Melody strums out the victory fanfare for a final time, and by the way she tucked her harp away, it appeared she was done performing for the time being.

[23:03] Mathias Adimaros says, "Awww, shit."
[23:03] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Let them continue."

[23:03] Melody exclaims, "Why are they ALL like this?!"
[23:03] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "This is a valuable lesson."
[23:03] Aiyamari Kurokaiyo says, "They aren't continuing."
[23:04] Tyr says, "..He's really strong huh.."
[23:08] Aki felt the presence of her father, his over whelming ability with the ways of illusion wasn't nothing to laugh at. Within a blink of an eye she felt her self being drowned within that visual illusion that was set into her mind. The feeling of being dragged under water till soon she was snapped out of it. Breathing heavily trying to catch her breath.

She had to admit it. "A-alright...you got me.."

Though this made her want to learn more from him and find a way to mess with other peoples mind like he did.

[23:12] It wasn't as if Caesar was intentionally trying to hurt this guy, but even if he was enjoying this fight, he wasn't about to get himself killed. He saw the type of vibes this person was giving off, and it certainly seemed like they were fighting without any type of restraint. And, for the sake of his own self preservation, he would fight Akira with that same intensity. Unfortunately for him though, Caesar was a pretty damn good fighter..and the fight quickly spiraled out of control. "I warned you this was a bad idea, dumbass!"

Those whips of water stung at first, but Caesar was quick to adapt, juking out of the way of the whip and grappling Akira by the waist. "It's over!" Leaping hundreds of feet into the air with the aid of his flames propelling him high above Sudbury, he takes the Kurokaiyo with him, tightening his grip like an iron vice. "Hai finito! Bomba di Liger!"

Like a comet, both of them soar down to the ground, covered in Caesar's flames. While his own magic wouldn't dare hurt him, and even offer him a protective covering, it'd slowly sear away through Akira's close as they reached closer and closer to the ground..and then?

BOOM! A giant explosion erupts from the point of impact, sending the makeshift arena into a temporary inferno. As the dust and flames clear, it's obvious there's only one victor here. "Di Molto."

While Caesar suffered only the most superficial of injuries, Akira could not say the same. His leg was completely, utterly vaporized from the impact. Hopefully, the family would understand that fighting Caesar was useless, useless, useless.

[23:15] The ragamuffin squints some. Another one, likely from the same family, came along, and just like the girl, he stuck it to her good. It would be so very, very nice if Tyr wasn't worried about the consequences that Caesar and any others that were spectating and cheering him on could risk having. The nobles were getting particularly restless now during these times after recent events, and that's a bit bothersome, but for now it was alright. Hopefully, this wouldn't come back to bite them later, and for now he can smile and watch the humiliation of the nobles without having to get his head wrung.

".. Yeah, hand it to em'! Heheheh!" He eventually bellowed. Ah look, he became apart of the crowd now. Can you blame him? He didn't like them almost as much as the next guy.

[23:21] seeing as the commotion of what could only be described as a gladiators arena she would sit down using her staff to strike the ground idlily wondering if the people would eventually dissipate or if these fights were going to last the entire year.

Surely these people have something better to do she thought to herself.

[23:22] Asuka watched carefully.

She would watch closely as her brother Akira would struggle to contain himself, and jump into the fray of battle.

The violence that erupted would cost Akira dearly. In one fell motion, he would be swept off his feet, and then brought in for an extreme display of strength.

An explosion erupted in the center field-- Dust and flames erupting as the embers flared-- Spraying through the skies ..

When the dust had settled, there would be fragments of what remained of Akira's leg-- Disintegrated into dust. All Asuka could hear next was the screams that would come forth from an injured combatant.

She just watched.
.. And licked her fangs.

[23:23] Akira didn't really know what was going on. He was responding to what he seen. It was too bad. Akira was young and fragile but he finally decided to man up and he paid the price for trying to be a man. Akira's blows were for the most part ineffective. He had the power, but lacked the endurance once again. They'd trade, but every time he was the one on the losing end.

Akira's punches made skin quake, Caesar's made bones rattle.

He couldn't stand down. Even though he wanted to give up so bad. It's a price worth paying when you love your family as much as he does.

Flames clash with water, as Akira displayed his newly acquired magic just now. It was novice at best his whips lacked form and power and the geysers that erupted from his palms didn't do much at all either. Ceasar's bright burning flames were able to evaporate his water with ease.

During the fight Akira regained control over his actions and it was too late. He was already being grabbed by this older male. He asked himself 'What is going on?' the two were already on course to making impact with the ground. He was getting light headed, and his body ached in pain.

'Oh yea. I did it again.'

He's a kid and so he cries, but those cries wouldn't last long. BOOM! They land and the explosion was grand! Akira had been defeated, and he was unable to rise without help. All that the crowd would see is a small child without a leg.

Ah well. Such is life.
