  1. Jump #345: The Old Kingdom
  2. >The Moon, reversed: Clarity, control and peace in troublesome times.
  3. >Age: 28?
  4. >Location: Wyverly College
  5. >Identity: Free Magic Sorcerer (-50)
  6. Wait, that doesn't seem quite correct.
  7. >Drawbacks: (+800) Target of the Restless, Extended Stay: 20 More Years, Fell Intentions, The Weeping
  8. Well, I'm sure there's a good reason that the undead are drawn to me like magnets, and necromancers are constantly bringing legions against me, and death itself seems to want me to give up and throw in the towel...
  9. >Bloodline: Royalty (1700)
  10. I don't quite think a descendent of a royal bloodline is quite accurate either, I seem to be made out of light or something.
  11. >Assertive Bearing (Free, Royalty)
  12. Well, one must know how to comport themselves in such situations, no?
  13. >Royal Retainers (1500, Roalty)
  14. One free import and an additional CP bonus for any other imports? Okay, I can work with that.
  15. >Free Magic (Free, Sorcerer)
  16. Well, I should certainly hope I know how to deal with magic.
  17. >Lesser Necromancy (Free, Sorcerer)
  18. It is important to know how to perform necromancy, to be able to deal with the dead. After all, the power to destroy a thing is the absolute control over it.
  19. >Return To Chaos (1200, Sorcerer)
  20. How nice, I can replicate charter magic, and tear it apart if I should so choose. I'm not likely to, of course, but having the option is quite helpful.
  21. >When Worlds Collide (800)
  22. Well hello town-sized-soul of mine would you like to become the size of Manhattan and have a population?
  23. >The Not-As-Bright Shiner (400)
  24. Oh, so THAT'S why I'm apparently made of light. Well, that's useful to know. Also, pretty spiffy.
  25. >Import Companion (300)
  26. >Mass Import (0)
  27. Ah, and there are my remaining seven companions being brought in as well. Excellent. You know what? I'll give them all The Not-As-Bright Shiner as well. Hm, nine of us, now isn't that an interesting coincidence?
  28.
  29. Not the most fun t̶e̶n̶ thirty years, I admit, but it was interesting. I don't know that I've been so relieved to see a jump end, when you feel death itself trying to pull on your soul. And dealing with the dead and the necromancers all the time... so ANNOYING.
  30.
  31. Still, nine magical elementals appearing out of thin air without prompting? It makes a lot of people nervous. But I gave my word that I wouldn't screw with the world or the people living in it, and that seemed to help a lot.
  32.
  33. I may have taught people who don't know how to do magic how to create wildfire, though. The dead don't like normal flames but they seemed to like green flames a whole lot less. And rivers, everywhere. I may have carved a few new ones. Few dozen. Er. It's a long term irrigation thing. That sounds reasonable, right?
  34.
  35. As far as the necromancers go, there was a lot of smiting. As far as the plot goes, we stayed uninvolved and built a sanctuary which really shouldn't have worked in the physical world and relied on free magic to stay up. We're talking floating castles, the whole nine yards. At the end we set it down so it would be able to stay on its own, but it worked out very nicely.
